I know most salons use plastic capes that they reuse after cleansing. I just soaked mine in water and put it outside to allow it to dry. I wrapped a dark hand towel around my neck and used one of the clips to hold it together (my hair is a very short pixie). Then I put on the cape. I felt I was at a DIY salon. It was perfect!!!

The cape is really nice. It will fit many different neck sizes, and is made from a good weight of plastic. I felt it was a little short, especially over arms, but I didn’t get a drop of color on my clothes so maybe the design was actually just what we need!
