I was nervous this being my first time. The color came out awesome and matched my current color perfectly. It also did a great job covering my greys. I also noticed that it did not burn my scalp as much as the color at the salon. Thanks to Mindy for whipping up a perfect batch.
Just wanted to tell you again how much I love my hair color. I love the convenience that mail delivery makes. I don't have to go to the store to discover they don't have my color that day. I like the ability to change the frequency of my orders. I was just checking today to see when my next delivery will be and it is right on schedule. LOVE your services!!!

I was so excited to get my first box and tried it 3 hours after I received it in the mail. And I love it, they nailed the color perfectly!!! Great job!! I'm a strawberry blonde and it's very hard to find my match and they got it right the first time. The color they blended for me was medium/Blonde/copper red. And it's perfect for a strawberry blonde.
Perfect color - from roots to ends! It is exactly what I was looking for! And, my hair looks and feels much healthier now than it did before I colored it! That never happens! I'm very happy with the results and I intend to continue!
I absolutely love this product. lately dying my hair has been horrible, my hair wasn't taking my usual dying products so I decided to try this and it's been 3 weeks and my hair is still vibrant. The shade is beautiful and exactly what I wanted.
Ok this is the second time i’ve used esalon color,so delighted with results first time thought I would give it another try . Just as pleased with results although I think my timing was off or applying dye technique wasn’t as precise. I had some areas not quite holding color as well but think it was my fault rather than product. Bought the root spray so when it’s really noticeable I will use that until next dye application. Still feel it’s worth the effort and price is far below what I would pay at salon. I’m satisfied and will continue to use esalon. Thanks.
Adding an update ,it’s 2024 and still using and extremely happy with color system ,even my former colorist from Ulta said it was professional looking that she could not replicate the lovely color herself! That is a great recommendation!
Absolutely love this. Colour in root was different to the length colour so looks streaky! However I’m not sure if that was just me and my first time with a bowl and brush! Customer service is fantastic and i can’t wait for my next order! My hair felt Amazing after! Highly recommend!
I requested a slightly darker shade of light blond and my excellent stylist nailed it!

I love my colour , it's perfect , I wanted a colour like a conker with its shine and I've got it. It's left my hair looking healthy, thick , shiny and sleek.

I loved my last color but wanted a little more red and explained what I wanted and the colorist created the exact color I needed. Really good colour match , neutralised orange tone as I asked left shiny and soft. Plenty of product to use didn’t run out and I have waist lenghth long hair! Highly recommend
I love this process, I wish I had found it earlier. Since my hair has started to grey I’ve been paying a lot to have it colored at the salon. This is a perfect solution. And I actually prefer doing it at home. I’m a customer for life!
I was pretty satisfied with this color. I love the actual color but there are still little tiny hues of red - nothing to make me angry though. Overall these hair colors are really nice and my hair feels great after coloring!
I am so happy with the custom set. It is so easy to use and I look like I've gone to a shop. The color is so soft and natural looking without the harshness on my hair of over the counter colors. The color has highlights that make it look natural and is so easy to apply. I highly recommend the Custom Color Set to get a natural color that covers even stubborn gray hairs.

Absolutely love this hair colour. Exactly the colour I wanted. Easy to follow instructions and application technique. Love being able to get it delivered every 4 weeks it's so easy. Absolutely salon standard hair colour. Price is so much cheaper than the hairdressers. Love the fact they contact you to see if you need it adjusting. Love that you can purchase add ons. Great value for money. Definitely ordering again and again.

I had some gray hairs coming in and I desperately needed to get my hair colored. At first, I was very hesitant, but after I finally decided to go for it, I must say that I am a "lifer" for sure! The hair color did not cause any brassiness or breakage, and it evenly covered my hair. I am blown away by the results and extremely satisfied!
I have also recieved some purchases as gifts , & everytime I was more than completely satisfied with your products. I am retired now & can't afford a subscription, but you can be sure I will always order my color from your company! I have colored my own hair & also had it professionally done through the years & I have never been more satisfied with a company's product than I always was with yours!!! Loved the Copper Mahoghany you formulated this month. It is perfect! I've been trying to get this color for myself since I started coloring my hair some 60 years ago. At 75+ I have finally found it. Don't change a thing! GREAT JOB!
Second order of my hair dye and it is absolutely beautiful. The first order I had picked out more of a red brown, it was a lovely rich colour but not for me. Thibault remixed me a beautiful dark chocolate brown. The shine is amazing and my hair feels so soft even after all the damage I had.
I've been using - eSalon Custom Professional grade, hair color for many years. I find it to be one of the BEST over the counter/ easy mail order, home kits on the market! My hair color is always spot on, and it leaves my mature hair feeling bouncy and shiny every time.
This is soooo much better than drugstore hair color or even color from Sally Beauty. It's always the same color every time, not the case when I was mixing my own. I can ask for color changes and they are always spot on. My hair is shiny and healthy. And this product is cruelty free. Yay!
Since I dyed my hair using the custom color set I received lots and lots of compliments. It passed almost 4 weeks since I dyed my hair and the color is still vibrant and the covarage of the white hair is 100%.
I am more than 100% satified and I wait for the next set.

I was really apprehensive since I had never coloured my hair at home before. I have to admit that I applied it rather haphazardly. The colour looks so natural!! Actually better than the last time I had my hair coloured at the hairdresser. Really pleased. So much quicker and easier than going to the salon.
I was spending four times as much in a salon for a root touch up color. I just had my second order, with a bit of an adjustment, and it’s perfect! Love the results. Love the ease of ordering!!

My hair is very healthy looking with shiny multi-dimensional color. I really appreciate how they sent me two different mixes one for my roots and one for my ends to help everything blend together. Looks great.

The last color that I received and used, did not come out the normal color. Instead of having my normal red/copper color it turned out to be a very odd light brown. I wish I had been able to do something about it before I used it. The color in the bottle was a very light gold. Not my normal shade. Will you please look into what happened. Thank you very much. I love how when I ordered my first colour - it wasn't quite what I expected so I sent pictures and told the esalon team what I thought and they adjusted my colour to suit my requirements. You can't do that with shop bought colours! The personal service is great. The second colour was a lot more like I expected but I still want to tweak it again a bit so I'm hoping to adjust until I find the perfect colour. I've had lots of compliments on my new hair colour and it has definitely coloured the grey/white I had turned. Also they put extra bottles in as I have long hair so they provide enough products to suit your style great personal touch.
Got my coloring set today and used it right away.
Was totally surprised at the difference of my previous sets.
The color now has the most luxurious lather when massaging it in my hair.
It’s a thick foam that surrounds each hair and colors even the thin side hair that beforehand never took good.
Also, the shampoo has a thicker lather and along with the conditioner it feels like it nourishes my hair to where it is a lot softer when done.
I am loving the changes you have made!
Fantastic customer service from Sarah at esalon. Great, well packaged colour set with helpful instructions. The mixed colourant and developer was an easy to apply cream consistency that didn't drip or smell as strong as some hair dyes. My hair doesn't seem to have been damaged by the product and the end result is very natural looking.

Love this colour. I am normally a natural medium to light blonde, fighting the battle of the grey. I ordered light blonde pearl mix. I was afraid my colour would come out too light but was pleasantly surprised by the darker colour that was achieved and about the battle? I'm winning lol. I can't believe how easy it was to apply the product and the final result was so natural looking. It covered the grey and gave my hair life again. My first experience with the coloring was so- so, which was my fault as I didn’t clearly explain what I was looking for. This last experience was PERFECT! The light blonde is exactly what I wanted! The actual application was super easy (my boyfriend did it!) and there was little to no chemical smell. My hair is thick and shiny and super healthy! I am super impressed and will definitely be ordering my color again.
This color I think has got to be the one. Good for summer good for winter and made for fall , spring is not forgotten too!!!!Loooooove it!!!!! A lot of mohagony and a bit of red is the secret sauce.
I love my esalon hair color. The colorists mix it just right. I have not been disappointed since I started with esalon. The shade is perfect and they will change it if you choose.Everything you need is in the kit.
I sent pictures of my current color with pretty deep roots and picked a color I thought would work to match my natural color. I also stated that I was open to suggestions if they thought I should use a different color. Luckily they were actually reviewing my pictures & assessing my goal- they said what I picked was too dark and sent something else. I’m SO glad they did!! What my colorist picked was perfect!!!
And it lasted as long as a salon, never got brassy or red and didn’t dry out my hair.
I have very dark hair and nothing except the salon appointments was getting the job done with covering my roots! eSalon got it perfectly!! Loving the results and the money back in my pocket from not going to the hairdresser!

I love the ease of choosing my color online. There were so many choices. I love how easy i tweaked it for my next order. The shampoo and conditioner in the kit were very nourishing and detangling. The color turned out great. My hair is still healthy. Overall Im happier than going to my local salon.
This is the very best at home hair color set ever.......I've been with eSalon for over three/four plus years and every single time I color my hair it looks perfectly natural and it's very easy to apply. I love it and will never stop using eSalon......
I asked for a change in color. There is no way to contact the coloristi except by email, therefore no discussion.
The results are terrible. Cancel my subscription!
