I wish this product had worked well because I really liked It! Until I noticed it had tinted my dark blonde ash copper hair pink after A few uses. It took a lot of shampoos to finally fade. I would try it again in a different color if it comes back in stock. I was also disappointed that esalon didn't offer a refund or replacement product when I contacted them directly about my experience with it.

I purchased the color enhancing treatment, and I have used it a few times. While it makes my hair feel softer, it has not enhanced my color.

I am sad to say this product does not do what is says it will. It does not help enhance your color or give it any brightness that I can see at all. I really love their hair color and have used that for many months now but every "other" product they have (shampoo ect) that I have tried has been very bad. : (

Well for starters I thought the look was the only thing being changed. But this product is completely different. It’s more liquidy so it drips all over the place and when applied to the hair it makes soap. Which is not completely a bad thing but it doesn’t work the same as the old one that came in a short round Tub which was thicker therefore easier to apply and leave on. For some reason the differences inpact a lot on the brightness in your hair. With the old one my hair was bright red. With this one still looks faded.

I have milk chocolate hair with a minor red hue, and I wanted to take the red hue out. The tiny balancer is out of stock so I hoped the booster would help at least make it a bit darker. And nothing, still have that red hue and my hair even looked a little washed out. Ugh

My hair is partially highlighted and when using this shampoo the texture of my hair makes it more rough even after applying conditioner. I don’t like the feel of it after using it.

I used the entire bottle of this and I noticed no reduction in the brassiness of my hair I watched a youtube video that featured this product and I think it would benefit the company to remove it because it set my expectations way too high but it did leave my hair a bit shinier

I was so excited when I saw this product! I have been looking for a shampoo that covers the grays. Unfortunately this shampoo only made my bleached highlights really orange and left my grays untouched. Even if it did work on my grays, I would go a shade down. This color was way too orange. To the Esalon's credit, it is exactly the color that it shows on the picture; I was fooled by the name Golden I guess...

The warm beige was recommended as the color I should get, but I don’t think it does anything except maybe make my hair look yellow/brassy. I also don’t like that it doesn’t condition or moisturize at all. Definitely disappointed in this one.

First of all, the direction to take a one-inch section would have given me massive stripes. Worse, though, the color lifted way too much, produced very brassy (orange) color, and looked awful. I used my regular color to fix most of it, trying to leave the effect of a few light highlights, but I had to go to a salon to have the whole mess covered. I thought the description said I could produce balayage effects. This ended up costing time and money. Sorry, eSalon people; this one bombed for me. I'd love my money back, for a start!

I have been an ESalon customer for a few years now and have loved the products I’ve purchased in addition to my great hair color until I received this tint. The first time I used it, it left red color on my white towels. Thinking I had not rinsed well enough, I left it longer and rinsed longer the second time. Not as much residue on my towel but after a hard workout the next day as I was wiping my face and hairline, there was red on my hand towel. Red sweat is not what I want to see. Very disappointed with this purchase and will not buy again.

Was pretty excited to try this product after reading some of the reviews. I have a lot of greys and wanted to spice up my hair without paying high prices at a salon. I tried it and saw no results. If I look hard and long enough in the mirror maybe a few strands are tinted but that was all. So I was disappointed:(

I tried this product 3 times following the directions.
There was NO change to my hair color or to my gray roots.
I would not recommend this product at all.

Smells great, doesn't work

The good part is that it smells great and leaves my hair soft and silky. The bad is that the color hasn't changed. I started with the recommended 3 minutes which did nothing, so I went up to 10 and still nothing. I've used it for 4 consecutive hair washes so it's had time to build up. I'm disappointed because other reviews said that it covered grays well, but they are just as sparkly as ever.

This did not work to tone down the very warm tones on my dark colour treated hair. My hair was very red toned though so may work if you just have a bit of unwanted red.

There's nothing wrong with this, so I couldn't justify 1 star.
It did absolutely nothing for my hair, I ended up throwing it away :(
One positive is that it didn't smell bad.

I was advised to try the tint rinse to keep my main colour going for longer. As normal, the fade started at less than two weeks. I was a little surprised to end up with pink hair. Ironically it lasts longer than the usual colour! People have said how nice it is but it's not what I was aiming for. I think I will forgo the permanent colour and keep using the tint. Having said that I'm well aware that red colour doesn't have the pigment to keep going but it usually last a little longer.

This product is okay. It does deposit color, but is not a conditioner. I absolutely LOVED Devoted to Hue in Red, and still cannot believe that you discontinued it!

I used this product as instructed & after reading reviews. It didn’t do a thing. It didn’t touch any of the orange brass tones I had going on in my hair. It felt like it enhanced them even more. Sadly this product did not work for me.

It did not do anything to my haircolor, but might work on others. My hair was a faded salon-brown that became orange. The product had no effect on my situation. I had to go back to salon and bleach stripes to even it out.

I was really impressed with the gold tint rinse, and I was expecting this one to be exactly what I needed because I have almost white blonde hair and I was hoping it would tone it down a bit. It did absolutely nothing but dry out my hair, I was so excited for this product and it really disappointed. If you want a nice blonde color go with the gold, or just have your stylist tone it because this did nothing.

The boost is subtle, it’s not like it’s blending any gray roots away (which I wish it would!!) but hair is shinier with more color dimension after use. I have to leave it on for quite awhile in the shower for this effect.

I saw so many YouTube videos abot this product and I was so excited to use it that I bought 4at once "bad desicion" the product didn't tone well my brassy redish hair instead I ended up with super dry hair and split ends with just 2 applications, so I got scared and call esalon to return or exchange the product but I found out that I have to pay for the return shipping due the company doesn't have a return shipping label... I paid $30 for the products and the return shipping cost around $20 so no matter what I do I'm loosing time and money and in top of that I had to invest in a conditioner treatment after all. Now I'm stuck with products that I don't want and my money it's lost.

Although it was helpful in neutralising the orange tones slightly in my ash blonde colour, it didn't work as well as I was expecting and it was expensive in comparison to what I could get from my local store but not any better performance.

I was really excited to get this product. It didn’t arrive after a long wait so I emailed and got a replacement one sent. But when I did use it, even a couple of times, and even left it on for longer, nothing happened. If anything, my hair looks more brassy! Maybe it’s down to each individual but for me it was a complete waste of money and time.
I am just going to go to the hairdressers and get them to tone my hair, or I might even just go for a whole new look instead.
Anyway, I will never be purchasing ever again.

I have had brassines for so long time in my hair and tried to get it out but it just won't go away even with this product. The product didn't do anything to my hair and I'm very dissapointed because I had high hopes towards this.

I wanted to tone brassiness in my light to mid brown hair and followed the instructions in terms of timing. It made no difference to the tone of my hair at all. The second time I used it, I left it on for around 45 minutes and there was a very slight change but only in certain light. Bit disappointing. It may have an accumulative effect so I will try using it with each wash but that will work out quite expensive.

I really wanted this to work, but sadly it didn't. I dyed my hair dark brown a few weeks ago but it came out too dark and too red. It was semi-permanent dye so my hair lightened over time but the red tinge remained. I saw some reviews of this on Youtube and it looked promising, but after 2 uses (first time left on for 3 mins, second time left on for 10 mins) it has made no change whatsoever to the colour. Very disappointed and dissatisfied so will not recommend :-( :-(

This was recommended to go with my hair color. I have a deep brown color that tints reds after about 2 weeks and my grey starts to show. I didn't really notice a difference in using this. It is messy. So be careful using it. I am not buying it again.

Tint Rinse is easy, but messy to apply in the shower. It doesn't really last very long, but you can use it up to twice a week if you choose. It leaves a bit of a residue on your hair that feels like hairspray after you brush. I don't think I will be purchasing this again. The results just aren't worth the cost.

This product did tint my hair and cover some gray that was beginning to come out but it seemed to work like highlights but put in dark streaks of color. Maybe I didn't use correctly but I did follow directions. Could be that the tiny is too dark. Will try again.

I’ve got heavy highlights on my naural level 5/6 hair and they grew out and took on a brassy/orange/gold/ hue after several months. I just applied the red neutralizer following the instructions plus extra few minutes, and it didn’t do anything. Im quite surprised because from the review vids i saw it should have made a visible difference and the hair color should have been neutralized. Don’t know what to do.

I did not notice much of a difference after using this product. I tried it twice before writing this review to make sure that I didn't not apply enough the first time. What I will say is I've used other glossing products in the past, and I like the application of this one. The foaming action helps you to know that all of your hair is covered.
I might have liked it more if I had not used Devoted to Hue, a color depositing, moisturizing mask by eSalon, before. Unfortunately, this product seems to be discontinued, so eSalon recommended Tint Rinse in its place. I was skeptical but decided to try it. I wanted to love it, but it's just not as good as Devoted to Hue in it's ability to brighten up my red hair and replenish moisture. My suggestion to anyone wanting a color boost is to wait until eSalon comes out with its new version of Devoted to Hue and buy that.

I am always impressed with the customer service of eSalon. This company does an outstanding job working to make sure its customers enjoy its products. I always feel confident trying out an eSalon product because I know if I'm not happy with it, eSalon will make it right. Thank you for comping me for the Tint Love. I've used this product 3 times since I received my order in hopes that it would neutralize the brassiness. It hasn't done anything for my hair.
It's receiving a 2 star instead of a 1 because the shipment arrived within a week, it's easy to use and it smells nice.

I am a huge fan of other esalon products, but this one was a disappointment. It can leave hair a bit dry and does not deposit much tint.

I really wanted to love this product, and maybe it wasn’t right for my hair, I don’t know. But it didn’t work. I still have copper and red tint in my hair.

It did not put any red in my hair. If it did I could not tell any difference. I will not order this product again.

I find this product does not tint my gray regrowth. I thought it would for a few washes between colors...
