Love the conceptLove the concept! Instructions are great as is packaging. First order was great. Second order somehow came twice within a couple of weeks (second box is still unopened). Easy way to maintain my graysI went with a color that if I messed up, it would still be ok. There was no worry as the color prepared for me almost gives me highlights as it change my gray hairs. It also lasts a while so I changed my ship date. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

First time ever dyeing my hair!I can't say thank you enough to esalon. I was raised in a super strict household and was absolutely forbidden to dye my hair, not even "boring" colors. I ended up becoming terrified to dye my hair ever. That continued all the way until now, at age 31. I have had grays for about five years now, but only a few and I always would pull them out. After an extremely stressful year, I officially started developing large gray streaks all over and while I love the idea of aging gracefully and naturally, it honestly made my self esteem even worse. Well, only a few days after the gray streaks developed (which somehow happened practically overnight), I got an ad on Facebook for esalon. I read hundreds of incredible reviews and tentatively clicked on the site and took the quiz. I was amazed at how thorough it was, and they asked about hair texture and length, too! I uploaded a picture because I had no idea how to choose the right color. They did it for me! I ordered and was super Nervous. I got my package in the mail and it was SO beautifully packaged which I loved. And they thought of everything....even included a second bottle of dye and developer since my hair is butt length and super thick, for free! The directions are laid out SO uncomplicated and simply on a long piece of paper that comes with a sticker so you can stick it right in front of you on the mirror! I know it's dumb but for someone who was so scared of messing up thru the process, having that in front of my face to read over and over again to make sure I was doing it right was HUGE. it turned out to be such a simple process, with such clear instructions. I rinsed it out, shampooed and conditioned, got out of the shower and my hair looked exactly like it did when I was 17, I swear to god.
