So impressed!I was so happy with my first experience with eSalon. As an unnatural redhead, I've had plenty of color disasters in my life (think bright red roots with the rest of my hair nearly black), plus my hair is just difficult to get to an even color because there's more build-up as you go down the hair. eSalon included two different dyes in my first package, the first just for my roots, and the second for the rest of my hair, and it blended to a perfectly even color! I'm honestly amazed that they were able to make it work using one selfie better than the results I've gotten from some actual salons. Plus, my hair is shinier and feels smoother than it was when I was buying dye from a beauty supply store, and the shampoo/conditioner they have you use after the dye made it so that I didn't have purple pillowcases and towels and no color running the next time I washed my hair. Also, the dye droplets didn't seem to stain my white bathroom as much. I don't know how it's possible, but I'm very happy! If I had to give one critique, it's that I wish they could use more eco-friendly packaging, like maybe less cardboard/paper/plastic and I really only needed one pair of gloves instead of two, but I also know it's a challenge to package these chemicals in a sustainable way. Love itI started having gray hair at a very young age. Therefore I been dying my own hair for over 30yrs with store bought hair dye. At the end of the day, I was not happy with the color. I could never get the correct color no matter what color I bought. I love my hair color and texture since I started coloring my hair with esalon. I have used it 3 times in a row, and each time it gives me consistency, which was what I was lacking previously. I adore this whole website/process/convenientI was a little hesitant about purchasing-just because of nerves & wasn’t sure how it would turn out. I was so nervous to dye my hair b/c it was platinum/gray (very light) & wanted a more natural color. I didn’t know how to achieve this. This product worked great & was tailor made just for me. I love my custom made color!I must admit, I was nervous when I first colored my hair, not really knowing what to expect. I had alot of white in my naturally red hair. I was shocked to see all of the white gone and was afraid I went too dark red. Those feelings didn't last long when I started looking at old pictures of myself. I couldn't believe how close to my natural red the colorist came, and on the first try! I am so happy with the color and my hair could not be softer! A lady coming out of the church across the street just stopped me and told me how gorgeous the color of my hair is and how it shines in the sun.
