Good Service, product quality poorI really like the concept of eSalon and was keen to find a higher quality hair coloring option that was less expensive than visiting the salon. Tried coloring 3 times- liked the intial color- but within 2 weeks the color had changed drastically. Decent Product, Poor Color SelectionI liked the products but even after speaking with them I still cannot understand what the problem is. If I tell you I've been coloring it light blonde then give me a light blonde. Not light brown. If it is a difference between highlighting and regular color then tell me which one I need. If you don't have the capability them tell me. I can walk into my stylists shop and say blonde and I come out blonde. This is advertised as having the range of colors then refuse to make more than a 2 shade difference in color. I'll just go back to paying my stylist. At least then I know what the color will be. So, as long as you aren't trying to change you hair by only 2 shades, not a bad service. If you are changing by 2 shades, stick with your stylist. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Not as expectedI was promised natural golden brown. My hair is dark brown after using their custom, formulated color. I emailed asking for a refund and a replacement and was told I should adjust my color settings on the site. I went to the site to cancel my membership and learned that they do offer refunds and replacement if you're dissatisfied, unless you're me. Great Idea but not for meThe color came out exactly as I wanted but it left my hair so rough and damaged that I have been unable to tame it even though it's been 2 weeks since I did the color. Plus I think the coloring process is too complicated compared to my regular store bought brand. Customer service and stylist are extremely courteous and convenient.
