Stain remover used to workI have been using E salon for about a year. I was happy with it the hair color will stain on sinks floors or tile but the stain remover always did its job, the last two orders they have stopped working and I'm trying to cancel my account and can't find how to do it because I cannot have stained sinks and tiles 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Not impressedI gave the color that I chose 3 tries. The last two, I requested for less brassiness. Unfortunately, my hair is still brassy with the adjustments. I used the color enhancing mask to help diminish this but it is not helping the tone either. Disappointed- residue on hair won't come offI ordered my kit; went through the online questions, posted a photo of myself etc. I specified in the notes that I like my hair to be bright, more ginger and less red. My dye colour was set as copper blonde. What I've actually got is a dark browny Auburn. My hair is dull, not vibrant and tonal like it is with off the shelf color. It's not even shiny and golden ginger in sunlight. It seems to have almost brown in it. But its dull and lifeless. On top of that, I applied the dye, followed the instructions and used the timer... I then did the shine step where you fill the bottle of remaining ends dye with water and use it to rinse your hair before washing out. It hasn't added shine nor broken down any residue (which is talked about in the instructions but not something I've ever come across in 17 years of dying my hair). I washed my hair out using their shampoo and my normal one as it didnt feel or look clean. I then conditioned with their conditioner. This left my hair feeling plasticky. I towelled off my hair and then added leave in conditioner to the ends (which I always do) my hair felt strange, like it was stuck together or had too much hair gel in it or something. I tried to blow dry my hair and it just felt like a semi flexible solidly stuck together mess...like insulated cable! I had to immediately go and try to wash my hair again. I shampooed twice and conditioned once, spent extra time rinsing too, all with my normal products. I could not get the crown area clean. I styled my hair and went out as I was in a rush. There was just this bit at the back that looked super greasy/ full of product and felt sticky and awful once it was dry. next morning and some of my hair is looking dry af like straw . The middle and back looks lank and greasy and messy. I've washed again today (that's 3 washes since dye yesterday) and it STILL looks greasy/ full of product (it isnt). I have no idea what this has done to my hair but I won't use it again. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Too darkSpite of having filled out all the info and uploaded a photo on natural light, my color customization was too dark. I did not like the results because although colored my grey I now look older. It is darker than I use to have in a salon. I was quite clear that I would like to have more red added yet got more brown. Instead of having a dark brown with red highlights, my hair is awfully BLACK. It's okMy kit did not contain the classic shampoo, it had 2 classic conditioners in it. I followed instructions step by step, but my roots did not change color. The bottom half of my hair, especially where i had balayage highlights, dyed to the expected color.
