Convenient!I enjoyed receiving my eSalon hair color packages in the mail bc it made my hair coloring easier and more convenient. I like the color made for me, but both times I used the hair dye within a few months of each coloring and followed the instructions step by step - I noticed that both times it did not cover my grays and my ends came out darker than the top of my head. So that’s kind of a bummer bc I feel like it was kind of a waste since the point was to cover up my grays and it didn’t. Great Products Great Customer ServiceAfter my first use, I wasn’t completely happy with the undertone of the color. Change in productI have been an e-salon customer since 2014 and I love my color. Unfortunately, I have to agree with other reviewers. The quality of the product seems to have gone down. Change in formula?Last couple of times I have noticed that coverage of my grey hair has not been as successful ie has lasted no more than a couple of weeks around the hairline and sideboards in particular. Happy but not estacticI love the color. Just what I was looking for. The only problem it still did not cover my grays great on my sides of my face.. Color ChangesThe first order was a beautiful color and lasted about 8 weeks. The last 3 orders have been so inconsistent with my first order. I am very disappointed in the results. One order came in so dark, and the following order was so light (I'm glad we were too busy to do my hair color for a while, so I had both kits at home) my husband had to mix the two to get a color close to my first order. My latest kit is so light, I don't even want to use it. Inconsistency will lose me. I sent a message to customer service today, so we will see how they will correct the issue. ***Changed my rating on 5/14/2022 I changed my rating from a 2 star to a 5 star! I'm all about customer service and eSalon rates very high with me. As you can see from my comments above, I was not satisfied with the product, but eSalon jumped on my complaint and changed my color per my instructions. While I was waiting on my new shipment, we decided to use up the last kit. HOWEVER, my husband changed his method. (I'm not sure whether we missed anything in the instructions, but here is the change.) After my husband shook the color "vigorously" he let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then shook the product again. The color darkened up which was similar to our first shipment. He applied it and I just showed him and we are SOOOO happy with the results.
