No resultsThey sent me a root only treatment. This did match my request for something to better transition my roots and highlights. I'm not sure if it was a miscommunication on my part or just a bad color match but i feel like i would have felt more confident and achieved better results in a box set from Walmart...Over all its a neat service but I wasn't thrilled and felt like I have wasted my time and money. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Colour Faded Shortly After DyeingThe colour was pretty for about the first three days, it then faded into a copper and finally turned to a brown colour that is slightly darker than my natural shade. Lovely color, but difficult to rinse cleanI have been using the custom hair color for several months now and I love the color result. My only complaint is that when following the instructions exactly, there is a strange waxy build up on my hair that is very difficult to remove during the rinsing/shampooing process. The first time I used the kit, I used the Stain Guard around my ears and hairline, so when I discovered a gummy residue in my hair, I assumed that it was the Stain Guard which had warmed up in the rinse water and migrated to my hair. The next month, I didn't use the Stain Guard cream at all, but after toweling off my freshly-colored hair, I again found the residue throughout my hair (it feels like I had taken a scoopful of styling wax and mashed it into clumps of my hair). I re-shampooed a few times to remove. This month I shampooed VERY thoroughly and then shampooed again after a long rinse in warm water. I STILL have remaining residue (though less than before). I do have thick hair, but I have never had this particular problem with any other brand of at-home hair color, and I have tried them all. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Customized ColorI have been disappointed in eSalon's color match for me. Though, I had requested the last color be changed, it wasn't. The color always ends up leaving a yellow hue to my hair that I do not like. The color is very drying even though I use the shampoo and conditioner recommended. I intend to cancel future orders. I really love esalon butSS-07-15V Made my hair brassy right from the colouring. I think I will have to go to a salon and have it corrected. I guess I should have stuck with SS-06-15V, It is very pretty, but over time it does go brassy.
