Horrible resultsFollowed directions that I received with my color Didn't cover gray. I called and complained they sent me a new batch, needless to say that didn't cover my grey either after washing my hair. Not the color I wantedAfter being disappointed w/ my first order because of its quick fading, I recently received a second order and was dismayed to see it was much darker than my current color. First time buyerI recently received my first color from esalon and it didn't turn out as expected. When doing my profile I did opt to not do a video call with a stylist, but I did upload a current pic of myself and responded to several of the stylists emails. She had suggested that I change my original color selection to one that would create a subtle change to my hair color and gradually change it. I agreed. The color I received WAS a drastic change and not the subtle change I was expecting. I didn't know that the gloves were in the box with the shampoo and conditioner - maybe that should be more clear in the instructions as we don't open that box until the very last step and I used ziplock bags on my hands. I did like the color very much even though it wasn't the expected color based on the email conversations, but it dried my hair out so much that I had to go to a salon anyway to get a deep conditioning treatment. For 2 weeks my hair felt like I had used hairspray and I don't use any products. Overall, the color is great but it's so drying to my hair I'm really scared to try it again 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

In this step, you take leftover mixed color into the shower after your timer goes off and massage it into your hair, all over, and once it feels creamy, add water to rinse out.
