I have been using eSalon for yearsI am switching to Madison Reed - I just tried it and found it works better than eSalon. While using the eSalon hair color, after only the first washing of my hair, the e-Salon hair color faded terribly, most of my grey-colored hair was washed out and faded. The color did not stay dark as it should. I am forced to using coloring hair-spray until my next coloring which I don't like - it leaves my hair dull fake looking. I am needing to color my hair every 7-10 days, since the eSalon color is gone or faded from my scalp area, cap area and around my face after the first washing. . 2 of 2 people found this review helpful. Don’t buy!I’ve colored my hair for over 30 years. No color for the last 4 years. I used this “custom color”……didn’t like the color and the greys were back in about 4 days. I ordered the color Brown Cinnamon and was sent Mahogany.First I’m very disappointed that my color choice wasn’t delivered. Instead Mahogany was delivered when I chose Brown Cinnamon. I ended up using it because of needing to cover all the gray. But I hate it.
