I am not sure if it's the shampoo or the color, but I have to wash my hair with my own shampoo to get the oily and goopy feeling out of my hair. The first time I colored, I thought it was the conditioner. I didn't use the conditioner the second time and my hair still turned out horrible feeling. The color is good and lasts as expected. I just can't figure out how to make my hair feel clean after coloring without rewashing it. Also, don't get this in your eyes when washing it out. It pretty much blinds you until you can get lots of clear water in your eyes to flush it out. This is not the easiest thing to do while you are trying to get the color washed out also.
Bonnie - We are glad that you experience good and long-lasting color results, but apologize that your hair felt oily after application. For optimal results in removing any residue, we recommend focusing on the Rinse Through Your Ends step after the timer goes off, in which you massage the leftover color into your hair from root to tip until it feels creamy before you rinse. Our experts advise that you can minimize discomfort in the shower by closing your eyes and tipping backwards until the color feels thoroughly rinsed. The first time I used this custom hair color it was great. The color stayed vibrant for over a month. the second time I used it the color was not as dark and vibrant and only stayed for two weeks.

Let me expand...I have always, the last few times loved the custom color created for me, but this time it came out very red and with no lightning of my hair so it seemed. Lets just say people really did notice, but not in the way I would have liked. Oh well.

I love the overall color but my roots are still gray! It did not color them to my satisfaction. I followed the instructions to the second. My roots are still gray. Not sure if there is a different formula for stubborn gray roots?

It no difference from the color I bought from any other store. It still cannot cover the gray hair on the edge of my face and forehead. I don't have much gray hair and the only places that I want to cover are the edges of my face and forehead and it is not working.

The consistency of the color makes it hard to get all hair covered. I find I sometimes miss little areas. I don't usually have this problem. Also, my last color didn't grab the hair as well. The color was quite a bit lighter at the root compared to the rest of my hair. This has not happened before with this product. I have been using this product for about 6-8 months.

The color was very pretty when I first applied it. It covered all the gray like I wanted. Unfortunately after about 3 weeks the color started to fade. Especially at the roots. I don't see any reason to pay the amount for this product when an OTC product works just as well if not better for a much cheaper price. So sorry. I won't be using this again.

This left my once-shiny hair very dull and ugly. I followed the directions exactly so I'm not sure what happened. I was hoping after a couple washings the shine would return, however, that has not happened. I got better results with my drugstore brand. Sorry, but this does not work on my hair. I only hope that my hair will recover. :-(

I have darker hair in the back and lots of white hair in the front and after two attempts including having to spend an additional $6 at a beauty supply store .....it still did not solve my issues... Not ordering again...going back to my $6 color from the local store.. I gave it two different trials and...no happier result.

I was excited to try esalon last summer and the first batch that came seemed great! The two bottles they sent me had the darker base and a lighter color for the ends. My shipments after that had only the darker color and they told me I had to pay extra for the lighter touches...hmmm. After a few applications of the color, my hair is dry and brittle. I'm constantly trying to moisturize it to bring back life and softness. The shampoo and conditioner that I bought with my first purchase did nothing to improve the appearance or feel of my hair, either. The color was pretty good, I must say, but I think I could get that color in any box. The absolute worst part, though, was that when I used the color the last time, a clump of hair fell out while I was shampooing the product out. I wonder now it this product is the reason my brush seems to have had a lot more hair in it the last 6 months. I'm done. It's just way too damaging on my hair. Just FYI, I've colored my hair for years and followed the instructions exactly!

The color suppose to be "cool beige". I applied everything correct according to the instructions. But it turned to be gingery on my roots (like the warm beige would be). The bleached part of hairs took color ok. But my naturally ashy roots now ginger and in couple weeks the difference would be obvious and I would have to dye my hairs again. It doesnt look ugly, but It;s not the result I expected

The color was ok, nothing spectacular or that I haven't achieved from other box colors but my scalp broke out in sores as a reaction to something in the color. Would not recommend to anyone worth any skin sensitivities, I haven't broke out this bad from color since I bought cheap dollar store color years ago.

Upon opening the box it was evident that the coloring bottle had leaked. All over it was a gooey mess. Every other time shipping was fine.

I didn't wash my hair for two days after coloring. With every wash since then my color is coming out and I'm not happy about that. Its in my bath water and on my towels. Don't understand why this is happening and don't{ want to purchase again if it won't stay in

Was fun to receive box with all the little touches. Good instructions and included everything needed for application. Only thing is rather disappointed with color selection. I requested a golden brown color and instead turned out very coppery red. Not bad since was considering that color line but was not what I ordered. So the colorists must have augmented what I selected. Also I just colored it two weeks ago and grey is visibly coming back.... so not exactly happy about that. Great for a home fix and good price compared to what would cost at a salon. Glad I tried it but not exactly convinced in trying it again.

The permanent color I ordered and applied (exactly according to the directions that came with it) lasted about 2 weeks before it all faded out and all my gray was exposed again. My daughter actually uses a drugstore semi-permanent color on her hair that lasts for a few months! This was the first time coloring my hair, and I expected much more from a permanent hair color. eSalon did a nice job matching my color....it just didn't last. They also offered a free bottle of hair color to fix my color loss, but I don't need that fuss. So, I have decided to just embrace my gray! No more hair color for me.

I ordered the color I wanted and it colored close to what I wanted but it did not color my roots at all. I contacted them and asked what I could do and they told me that they would get back to me when it was time for me to reorder and that I would have to recolor my hair in 3 weeks. That does not help when you just colored your hair and your roots have not colored.

I don't like giving this a 3, as the color matched perfectly and it looked fabulous. It just didn't cover the grays I was hoping to cover. If someone said I see you've got a gray hair, I would be shocked! At 44 I don't have that many and I only see them when I'm up close and personal with my hair in the mirror. So I chose the lowest setting for gray coverage. Unfortunately, it didn't cover the grays at all! But the color sat on those gray hairs longer than any other part of my hair. I was perplexed. I did contact eSalon and they are redoing the color and sending me a new bottle. I'll post how it turns out!

Unsure what the reason was on the color this time... It made my hair color very burgundy like fake looking. First time ever. This is my 3rd batch and prior applications were great!!! Disappointed this time. Kind of a bummer...

I followed precise instructions, sent in pictures and everything. My hair went from a medium brown with gold tones to dark brown with auburn in it (I want to lighten just a tad). The color I picked was Golden Copper, so I knew there would be some red. Overall I would not recommend. Also made my hair very hard to dry and oily. Will be looking elsewhere. Lastly, if you have long hair not nearly enough shampoo or conditioner is included for one use.

Ich habe die Haarfarbe eine Nuance dunkler bestellt und bin absolut begeistert vom Ergebnis. Die Farbanpassung ist wirklich top – mein Haar sieht natürlich und gleichmäßig gefärbt aus. So gut abgestimmte Farben habe ich weder in der Drogerie noch beim Friseur zu diesem Preis erlebt! Das Auftragen war unkompliziert, der Geruch angenehm und überhaupt nicht reizend. Kein Brennen in der Nase oder auf der Kopfhaut. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und werde definitiv wieder bestellen!
Danke für die wie immer sehr gute Ware. Die Lieferung kam termingerecht wie gewünscht, die Verpackung war einwandfrei und die Farbe traf genau meinen Geschmack. Ich bin gern Kunde von e Salon, auch wenn die Haarfarbe im oberen Preisbereich angesiedelt ist.
Ich habe mir vorher noch nie die Haare gefärbt und bin trotzdem mit der Anwendung alleine gut zurecht gekommen. Abgesehen von dem alten Handtuch, das ich mir umgelegt habe, haben weder meine Kleidung, noch mein Bad Spuren davongetragen.
Die Farbe ist genauso, wie ich sie haben wollte - sehr nah an meiner Naturhaarfarbe. Die Haare sind danach schön weich und glänzend. Die ersten grauen Haare sind nicht zu 100% abgedeckt, aber deutlich kaschiert. Ich bin zufrieden!
Soweit einige in den Bewertungen das Abosystem bemängeln, möchte ich sagen, dass das bei der Bestellung erstens deutlich erkennbar und zweitens auch völlig problemlos zu kündigen ist. Da die Lieferzeit nach Deutschland ziemlich lang ist, ist das Abo aber uU sinnvoll - das überlege ich mir noch :-)
Lässt sich leicht mischen, anwenden und auftragen.
Riecht gut und man hat nach der Färbung mit anschließender Auswaschung mit beigefügten Produkten , schöne , glänzende und leicht kämmbare Haare die sich schön weich anfühlen.
Einfach toll
Lange habe ich gesucht nach dem perfekten Rot.
Ich war sehr skeptisch am Anfang ob es mir gefallen wird von blond auf rot ist ein krasser Schritt zumal ich vor drei Jahren schon rot hatte aber noch nie so einen wunderschönen tollen und lebendigen Ton wie von euch! Echt klasse Farbe. Was ich außerdem sehr loben muss ist die Verpackung…so liebevoll, schick und personalisiert ein echter Hingucker und zauberte mir ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. Ein großes Dankeschön an Romina S die meinen Farbton entwickelt hat einfach spitze.
Es ist eine schöne Farbe,ich musste mich erst daran gewöhnen da meine Haarfarbe früher immer hell war. Aber die vom Salon ist leicht aufzutragen und mit der Beschreibung kann nix schief gehen.
Also ich färbe meine Haare wirklich oft und regelmäßig.bisher habe ich oft Drogerie Produkte ohne Ammoniak genutzt,da meine Kopfhaut durch das färben stark beansprucht ist.leider hatte ich immer mit Haarbruch und Haarausfall zu kämpfen. Seit einem halben Jahr bin ich auf diese Seite gestoßen und bestelle mir alle sechs Wochen meine individuelle Farbe. Seitdem keine trockene Kopfhaut mehr.auch der Haarausfall ist weg. Ich kann den esalon wirklich empfehlen.
Ich dachte ich probier's Mal und siehe da - endlich Mal kein Reinfall, kein Betrug, keine Lügen - einfach das, was ich will 😃 bin begeistert von der Freundlichkeit, dem Service, Lieferzeit und natürlich vom Farbergebnis. Für mich perfekt, wenn mir jemand sagt was ich brauche 😅.

Ich hatte noch nie so ein tolles Farb- Erlebnis !!! Nach strikten Befolgen, der individuellen Anleitung für mich persönlich , war das Ergebnis einfach toll! Als ich die Farbe nachdem anmischen gesehen habe, hatte ich so meine Zweifel, weil die Ansatz Farbe, sich von der Längenfarbe doch Unterschied und ⁵äußerst Farbintensiv war. Doch alleine schon, das verarbeiten, unterschied sich Abstand von meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen. Kurz erwähnen sollte ich vielleicht, daß ich noch nie beim Friseur zum färben war und sich meine "Erfahrungen" lediglich auf das selber färben, mit handelsüblichen Produkten bezieht. Von der Grauabdeckung war ich sehr begeistert, auch daß bei der nächsten Haarwäsche, unglaublicher Weise, das Wasser klar geblieben ist. Es ist jetzt 2 Wochen her und das Farb-eErgebnis überzeugt noch immer. Kann ich nur empfehlen! Freue mich schon auf die Nächste Lieferung, die ich ganz stresslos nach hinten verschieben konnte, weil eben noch kein erneutes Färben nötig ist. Daumen hoch 👍

Estoy totalmente satisfecha con la calidad de sus productos, es verdaderamente útil todos los concejos, la cobertura del tinte es espectacular, el kit trae todo lo necesario para realizar en casa la aplicación del tinte, sin embargo he decidio no volverme a pintar el cabellos hasta que esté vuelva a su tono natural y allí ver qué reinventarme. Tolles Farbergebnis, Farbe wie gewünscht, Haare glänzend und griffig.... selbst nach 4 Wochen hält die Farbe obwohl ich alle 3 Tage die Haare wasche und Sport treibe. Besser als die Farbe meines Friseurs!
Die Haarfarbe ist die beste Farbe, die ich jemals zum Haare färben benutzt habe. Ich bekomme von fast jeder im Handel erworbenen Farbe eine Allergie. Von der eSalon Farbe nicht und es ist ein schönes Farbergebnis, toll!

.2024...ich bin mit der Farbe sehr zufrieden. Meine Haare haben einen schönen Glanz bekommen und fühlen sich weich und füllig an. Habe die Farbe das erste Mal angewendet und bin gespannt, wie sie sich in ein paar Wochen anfühlt und aussieht.
... Die Farbe ist immer noch toll und passt perfekt zu mir. Sie hält lange und lässt sich leicht, nach der Anweisung anwenden. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Farbergebnis, auch nach längererZeit.
.... April 2025 .... leider enthält die Farbe viele umweltschädliche und krebserregende Inhaltsstoffe. Deshalb wechsle ich zu einer Farbe, die das alles nicht enthält. Ich habe die Schädlichkeit der Inhaltsstoffe unter "Hautschutzengel" herausgefunden. Manche davon sind in der EU gar nicht zugelassen. Ausserdem, bekomme ich nach längerer Anwendungszeit zunehmend platte Haare, die ihre natüliche Spannkraft verloren haben.

Ich habe bereit mein 3. Paket bekomme, das 1. War ich nicht 100% zufrieden mit die Farbe, Ich hab mit Hilfe von Berater doch mein Wunsch Farbe gefunden und bin total begeistert von die Produkten. Ist sehr so schön einladend, gut eingepackt und schön noch dabei. Bin froh das jch es probiert habe und bleibe jetzt dabei.
Die Beschreibung für zu Hause ist sehr gut und man bekommt es anhand dessen auch als Laie gut hin. Der Farbton ist genau wie auf dem Bild vorher und durch die zwei verschiedenen Töne für Ansatz und Längen ist der Übergang auch nicht zu sehen und das obwohl ich vorher Drogerietönungen verwendet hatte. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Ich habe den Ansatz gemacht und nach Ablauf der Zeit den restlichen Inhalt mit Wasser gemischt und in die Längen und Spitzen Verteilt nach weiteren 3 Minuten habe ich alles ausgewaschen .

Ein Aschbraun mit einen Goldton vermischt, nicht zu dunkel, passt einfach.

Nachdem ich von der vorherigen Lieferung enttäuscht gewesen bin und die Farbe jetzt nochmals angepasst wurde, bin ich umso begeisterter von der neuen Farbe.
