Not impressedI usually like the color but this time it didn't cover as well, and it actually turned my hair even more orange than the earlier color. Next time could I go a little darker? It's Not You, It's MeAs a whole, I'd give eSalon 5 stars. Made to order color at a great price sent to you as often as you'd like ... Loved all of that! But I colored my hair twice, two totally different colors and both times did not get results I expected. I chose a Red Mahogany but when I was done my hair looked darker, the color was barely noticeable. I was a little disappointed because I thought I had finally found the answer to all my hair coloring questions & dilemmas. I read & followed the instructions that were included at least I thought I did. Maybe I didn't apply it correctly or should've left it on longer than what they said to ?! Don't know but it didn't work for me. However, this is just My experience. I would still recommend this product to friends & family. Very DisappointedI don't even think my colorist read the details of what I wrote. I even wet and thinned out the color to attempting to get it to cover my hair and there wasn't even enough to cover just my scalp let alone my length! Not the right colourMy original hair colour was red (roots were brown) When I did the whole questions my desired hair colour was purple, after dying the hair colour, instead of purple it came out black instead and only when i am in bright light can you see a tint of purple. I sent in my request and nothing came back to me other then your order will be shipped, when I tried to contact the stylist before she sent my second no one responded, I sent the message that I wanted to see the color before they charged me but nothing. Great colour. Not great at lasting on greysGreat kit, colour & ease of ordering. However after 6 colours and time & colour adjustments it just doesn't stick to my greys and they are back within 2 washes. And with a colour sjampoo. Same as store boughtWas hoping to be a better product than what I buy in the grocery stores, but found it's about the same. The smell was horrible and so strong I was concerned about breathing in all the fumes. Store bought does not have that harsh strong smell. Great system...butI loved the process of creating my color and the packaging that it came in. The color was what I expected. My only negatives are that I thought this product had a strong smell for a temporary color. Also, I lost A LOT more hair than usual after coloring and continued to have LOTS of hair breakage. I had to cut a several inches off my hair in hopes to improve the quality. Not a fanThis colour looks like my normal box dye after about 8 weeks. The roots are a way different colour and appear grown out from the rest of the brown with a red tint hair. It was so much work to do both roots and body, I wish I could have had only a single colour. By having roots and a body colour, I feel like theres more room for error (like having Orange roots and brown body). I'm pretty disappointed and can't wait until I can change to a colour I actually like. The main colour is way too dark, and not red enough like I asked for. I feel like the stylist ignored my request and sent what she felt was best, because at least my Mom likes the colour, it's basically my natural hair but darker. Great gray coverageI did get full coverage on my gray hair; however, I did not get any red tone which besides the gray coverage that is what I was aiming for. I tried two different compounds and neither of them have worked to achieve the reddish tone in my hair. Didn't quite get the grayI like the color that was sent to me, but the whole point of coloring my hair was to cover the gray right at the front top of my hair, it covered some, but not all and I can still see it. I made sure to ask for color for hair that doesn't take color well, but it still didn't take. Not sure if I want to touch up. I liked my previous color better :(I waited to try this color until 2 days ago, because I have been busy, but also because I was a little nervous! It is darker, but it also has a reddish tint to it. I have had a couple of people refer to me as a "redhead," which I do not like. I do not like this color very much, and would much rather have my previous color to re-color my hair. Probably as soon as possible. I REALLY don't like red in my hair. :( I am fairly certain I have mentioned this before, and asked for no red please! Thank you. Doesnt cover grayThis is my second order. This new formulation was put on just as the instructions said to do and the results are very disappointing. I put the color on around my temple areas first then along the roots etc. Did not use the entire bottle as you said not to put in anywhere other than my roots so it would not be too dark. Well it covered my roots along the scalp and that was it. I left it on for 35 min. and the first sections I did around my face are still white. Not at all happy that I paid $25 for hair color that does not do even as good as store bought brands. I was going to cancel after my last order but oh no you had to keep me as a customer and try a new formulation. Well not this time. I am done with eSalon. Did my color change?This last batch looks different from the previous batches. All I needed to do was a root touch up and noticed the color is different than the previous batches I have received. I really like the previous batches because it showed less red. Now, the redness is back. It was noticeable when I blow dried my hair. The red was very noticeable. The color has a purple overtoneHello After speaking with your representative I thought she understood what I wanted the color I ordered was dark Auburn and what I got was a brown/black with purple overtones. From what I can remember none of the photos sent show me with brown/black hair. This is my natural color but not what I wanted, it should have been Dark Auburn with reddish overtones. To me this is what it is and in speaking with your rep I thought I conveyed this. I've suspended till May with a possibility of cancellation. Could be better for grey coverageI have to say I was disappointed. Great color but gray hair still visible and left a messColor came out great and I appreciated receiving the extra processing kit as I have long ombre hair and will need to touch up but none of my grays changed color. I really want to know how to get this dark color out.We were getting to the light copper color I wanted till the last mix. My hair is a dark auburn not at all what I wanted. Couldn't get color rightThree strikes. I tried three times and I was careful to explain each time what I was looking for. Natural medium brown hair with a natural reddish tint. I end up with purple, bright copper or my latest look, Ronald McDonald Red. I am not a happy camper. A 40 year old does not want to walk around with drastic bright unnatural looking hair!!!! Color faded in a weekOver all I was very disappointed. Thecolor was great however within a week it was already starting to fade and by the end of week two I couldnt wait to pick up a box of color at the store & redo it.
