Perfect color!!!I have been trying to get this color for 3yrs. Gone to many different Salons and played over 200$ at each appointment and never came out with what I wanted. UNTIL NOW!! 17.00$ and got exactly what I wanted!! Beyond happy with the color!! Only issue is wasn't enough dye for my hair but in all fairness my hair is ridiculously long (pass my butt) and thick. But still extremely happy!! Customer for life right here!!! Edit. My first dye was perfect.. unfortunately the second shipment was more of a red color. I decided to continue with the "autoship" hoping the next one would be better. Lovely colourLovely colour I was over the moon with this dye at first. But alas it only lasted 2 weeks before my grey was showing again. And for £14 I could get 2 hair dyes in a supermarket. Added Gold ToneThey added Gold Tone to my custom mix. Which I never use because it really brings out the red in my hair. I did use the red tone down cream, but it did not help much. I left a note for my next order not to add the Gold Tone. If they do it again I will not be placing a new order again. It's okIt does not cover my stubborn grey at my temples. The color is still too warm for me. I really need an ash it is very difficult to find. I have naturally ash blonde hair it has darkened as I age because I am never in the sun..., but it is still not warm at all. Not HappyI used the same color that I've used the other times I've colored my hair. However, this time it came out VERY dark!! completely wrong colorI requested color to lighten my natural hair by one shade. I sent pictures and I picked the color closest to my natural hair and the color I wanted to change it to. The "professional" stylist decided my hair was actually darker than what I had chosen so she insisted I go with a different color to achieve the "one shade lighter" that I requested. Of course, it came out at least one shade darker than my natural color. When I asked for solutions, I was told I could buy only one shade lighter (my natural color again), but I couldn't buy highlights without buying another full kit. It seems to me that if they wanted to keep me as a customer they would have offered to ship the new color with highlights if that would fulfill my initial request. Problem with resistant Gray coverageIt did not cover the resistant Gray but i saved a little of the extra hair color and went along the hair line a second time to cover the grey along the front hair line. But the first package when arrives the bottle leaked and they sent a replacement right away. Extremely disappointed and upset by this product.While I initially had great expectations for this product, I was extremely disappointed. I've been dying my hair on and off for about three years and I decide to try eSalon because I thought it would last longer than drugstore brands and be cheaper than the salon. I was SEVERELY disappointed for two reasons. First off, the hair dye is next to impossible to wash off. It took me one wash with the provided shampoo and four washes with my own shampoo and my hair was still left with waxy black gunk all over it, to the point where it wouldn't even dry. Secondly, the product caused my hair to fall out in clumps and thin like never before. It should be noted that I dyed my hair darker and have NEVER experienced hair thinning or loss from dyeing my hair or any other reason. Upon reading other reviews online after my experience, I found that many other women experienced hair thinning and loss. This product is falsely advertised and I am extremely saddened that my once thick hair is now damaged and thin at the age of 19. Way too darkYou sent a dark color that ruined my hair! I had it professionally stripped and lightened per your instructions, costing $200. All i wanted to do was cover grey and roots. This is way darker than it should have been and it leached into anything that was light! It now looks like shit and i am going to have to pay $200 AGAIN to get it fixed! I followed the instructions to a t but you did not adjust the color like i asked. I specifically said i had put a lot of blonde in my hair that i didnt want ruined. I even set 3 different pictures. Light Blonde to medium blondeI tried the kit and really liked how simple it was to color my hair. The only problem is the color! My roots are naturally a medium-dark blonde which ended up becoming light red and my ends which were a light blonde became a dark blonde with a greenish tint to it. [edited from March2017] MediocreI started with eSalon back in March and was happily surprised. The color was rich, a much closer match than I'd been able to achieve from a box, and smelled like heaven. Unfortunately it didn't last very long at all and gray and root colors started to show at 3 weeks (home coloring didn't do this until about 5). I requested a change in color and formula (told them it wasn't covering my grays--even within days of coloring) and then it stopped smelling so nice. Actually smelled worse than at-home kits. And also left my hair just as brassy. Color Leaves Hair Feeling GreasyDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR PRODUCT UNLESS YOU WANT GREASY WAXY HAIR FOR DAYS . After using the product and washing out the color with their shampoo my hair was left feeling greasy and waxy. I've just learned that this is a fairly common problem. I've washed my hair for an hour after dying it and hours later it still looks wet because it's so greasy. I don't even know how the color looks because my hair is so waxy. I cant even touch my hair without my hands becoming greasy. You would think that since this is a common complaint they would change the formula or at least provide a shampoo that will actually take the hair dye completely out of your hair. I've never experienced this kind of issue with hair dye and I've been dying my hair for over 15 years, that's the majority of my life. Wrong ColorI've been an eSalon customer for over a year and a half. I've continued as a customer because I like how well it covers my gray, is easy to use and the color lasts. However, my most recent order was definitely wrong. The color is much much darker than the shade I usually get, At first I thought, well my pre-color hair is lighter right now because I've spent time in the sun. Waited a day to "get used" to the darker hair. Not liking it at all. I've gotten several comments - not compliments - from friends. This most definitely was a mistake made by my colorist. it was okI have been receiving this product for 6 mos. I love the ease of doing it at home. What I don't like is that about a week later my roots and my ends are two different colors. I have done the root color and the end color a few times and I am still not satisfied with the results. The grays around my hairline also pop up after a week or two even with concentration on my hairline with the color. Waxy residue left on hair.I have used this product for a few treatments the first few were fine, however the last few applications have left my hair with a waxy residue that took two to three attempts to wash out, also waxy residue made hair feel heavy and seemed to put pressure on my head. It is a shame because I like the colour but the actual experience of using this product isn't an experience that I would recommend. Leaves hair feeling greasy and waxyI have used this product for over a year and was happy until the last 3 shipments or so. Something seemed to have changed and not for the better. I color my hair every 4-6 weeks and no other product leaves this residue in my hair. It literally takes me 3-4 washes to get the waxy feeling out. To bad because I loved this for convenience, but to be honest the box dye from the store doesn't leave me with a waxy feeling that takes at least three washes to remove. To top it off the response from customer service was somewhat of a joke. They told me basically I need to rinse it better and possibly use a different color shampoo. Not reorderingThe color was too dark and drab and my ends are black. I was so excited to get this, and it was such a disappointment! Great texture, color is not quite rightI love how my hair feels but the color is still brassy. And I was disappointed in the communication. I get responses from so many different people and I feel like I have to keep re-requesting change. For instance when I went to re order the changes that were promised in my last email are not on my order form. Unsatisfactory ResultsI was not satisfied with the product. There were no better results than what I received from retail stores or beauty supply stores. One major difference from my usual product is that this product left my hair hard and dull, not soft and shining. Turned my hair color to totally opposite of what I wantedWell When I wrote that my hair is black so you should have understood that my underline pigment is red. The dye you created for me was full of red so naturally my hair remained as it was, black. I ordered a dye to color my hair to brown Mahogany. It didn't turn into brown nor Mahogany. We can't seem to get the color rightI have been a member for 6 months and have tried to change tbe formula Because whatever they do it goes orange. The color I'm using now isn't lasting as long as it did at first. I had to color my hair between the deliveries this time. I missed my cut off date By a day. So, I guess I will have to deal with it another month and color it 2 times and deal with red. I wanted it lighter, but couldn't get it right. So, went darker, Both colors have not been shiny. I went through the chart and saw that 5.0 which is darker than I have ever used in my life is the only kne that is shiny and doesn't look like it ei pull so much red. It might cover the gray. gray still gray, Hair's now dry and course.I fallowed the directions exactly, my grey is very shiny but looks very noticeable. maybe a little lighter than before I colored it. My hair is much more course and feels a lot dryer. I washed it and used all of the conditioner. I could barely comb thru it. I have been using nice and easy. prior to using your product. Causes hair lossHi this product has nice color but made my hair break and become frizzy after the 2nd use. Also caused a lot of hair fall. I don't recommend this to anyone.
