Bad time to get it wrong !I-Don’t like leaving bad reviews for Business, however, they dropped the ball big time! I feel it is important for A company to get it Right, if they are selling the concept of self-coloring your hair at home. Where if you bought your color at a supply store you would know what you purchased! Not so here! You are at their mercy, believing you have bought the same color. This is especially true, when you deal in any kind of red highlights or coloring! Reds deposit the most pigment and is the most difficult to reverse, without major problems! I have this problem! The fact last are, I bought hair color four times prior and was very happy !, I was feeling comfortable in their ability to provide me with the same product each time ! Well NO THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Here are the facts! - [ ] My daughters' wedding is in Texas this weekend. I'm in Ca. And colored my hair as always . - [ ] Ordered. the same hair color the last four times. 34/dark blonde 1,/8 copper, and the other is ash. Hair turns out strawberry blonde - [ ] My daughter offered to apply it for me. while I the color looked the same when pouring them together. - [ ] My hair color is strawberry blonde and is long. - [ ] For this last order, I didn't look at their % of color, it had always been great before! My normal ordered was 3/4% dark blonde, 1/4 ash blonde 1/8 copper! 20% vol. - [ ] This time I was sent 1/2 Medium Brown 1/2 COPPER RED! 10% volume. - [ ] No BLONDE! That's it! No blonde whatsoever. No lift! I was horrified. My daughter cried, thinking she did it! Kinda looked like a dark carrot top! Underwhelming resultsNice packaging and “value added “ with personal instructions, separate roots and lengths color bottles, and some nice extra tools. But I’m not that excited about the resulting color and condition of my hair. I went with a cool beige blonde because my hair pulls orange and I have very hard water that makes any golden tones brassy looking. And I HATE brassy tones with a passion! My natural color is very ashy “bronde” and warm colors do not suit my pinkish complexion. I thought this would be pretty close to my natural color(max one level lighter, but I have 50% gray so thought it would work well). I followed all instructions and have a lot of past experience with coloring my hair. This didn’t cover my grays very well, looks much warmer than expected, and my hair feels dry and damaged. I used the light set kit afterwards and those highlights also turned out pretty brassy except for the ends (which had previous highlights). I’m thinking of trying one more time with the most ashy tone and requesting more gray coverage in the formula if possible. Don’t waste your time, Customer Service won’t respondI sent pictures of my hair prior to my custom color being created and provided the details of the dark brown hair color I was seeking and it still wasn’t right. I emailed about how unsatisfactory your product was and Ive NEVER heard from anyone. Still a week later, no response. You email me every couple of days trying to sell me something but you can’t reply to my issue via email. I finally just gave up and cancelled the auto ship and when the second shipment arrives I will return it to get my refund. Ruined my hairI requested the brown//copper which on the picture had a pink tint to it. Follow the instructions to the letter and my hair is brown! Not just brown a horrible mud colour which is going to need bleach to lift. I tried this company as the colour I use is hard to get hold of, I picked a colour too match what I used and it's shocking. It's only hair but looking at the colour and I cried... Because I know this will ruin my hair to fix. Rest assured I won't be using this again. It’s OkI like the strawberry color as it’s close to my natural color. The only reason I color my natural red is because I’m getting whites. This initially covered them until the second hair wash. I used the shampoo & conditioner included and followed the time settings for processing. Horrible!I will never use this again. My hair is ruined for Easter Sunday. Thank you esalon for making my hair greenish! It was suppose to be light blonde. Has a greenish tint. Now I have to go to church like this tomorrow and laugh it off. I will not ever recommend esalon! Not only did it turn my hair an ugly color but also the texture of the hair. I think I will stick with my regular hair color from the store! At least with that I don't end up with ugly hair! ESALON YOU SHOULD REIMBURSE ME! if I could have given 0 stars , I would have. Temporary colorColor started fading after single wash, grey coverage was less than 20%. In 4 washes I have lost all color and grey hair are visible. I have to pay to have to have the color corrected at the salonI was under the impression that once I put the color I wanted to achieve - and sent a photo of my current color, you'd send the right shade to achieve the light ash brown!? Instead it came out black!?! We're going into summer and my hair is black! I have to go to the salon to have this corrected now. Im not a cosmetologist and I know what colors to put on my hair to achieve the shade I want! The fact my hair is black - ordering from a "professional" is incredibly insane! OMG. What a dishonest company.I ORDERED PRODUCT LAST FALL. I DID NOT CARE FOR IT AT ALL. I TRIED A COUPLE MORE "SOLUTIONS" THEY SENT TO ME AND NOTHING WORKED. Alexandria Paget turned my hair orangeMy colorist, Alexandria, sent this concoction for me to try. She was supposed to have fixed the color the last two times around but my hair kept turning orange. This order was supposed to be a new color but it still turned my hair orange. I sent pictures and asked what I should do since I didn't want to buy another box. She responded asking me what I want her to do...well now I thought I asked you what to do. If I knew what to do I wouldn't be asking. F’d my hair upI’ve colored my hair myself 100’s of times and I’ve always had really good luck. Until I tried eSalon. The color I chose is exactly what I wanted. However, the color only “took” in 1/3 of my hair. And my hair was not colored, treated, and very healthy before I used eSalon color. I uploaded photos. I sent a message explaining my issue. Begged them to send me more color so I can fix this mess BEFORE the holiday and I’ve had ZERO response. I’m going to have to buy a box color from the pharmacy. Worst color ever/TRASH!!!My light blonde hair went to a light mousy brown color. Terrible results. I will never use your products again!! I called & left a voicemail message with my personal information & the mis-color management & never received a call back, no refunds & you had the audacity to even send me the same ridiculous color a 2nd time!!! Does not cover gray hair as advertisedNot only does it not cover gray hair, it has turned my hair into straw. I took it to my hair dresser to apply as she has the skills better than myself and my lord. My hair is straw. I just cut off 9 inches of hair because it was so bad. No, it was not over processed, either. We went exactly by the timing on the instructions (actually one minute less because my head started burning so badly to where I now have scabs on it) - this may work for many, but I certainly will never ever order this again. Not dark brown on my rootsI ordered dark brown which is my natural color and the color of the rest of my hair color. After using your product on my roots, it comes out medium golden brown NOT a dark brown at all. For the price I’m extremely disappointed and my February order never got delivered and I just saw on your tracking with usps that because the postal service for some reason couldn’t deliver, they disposed of it instead of returning it back to you and I NEVER got a refund or a new kit sent to me. Also for some weird reason my payments are coming from my PayPal account which is linked to my bank debit card, then sometimes it’s taken directly from my debit card and now the last few months your taking a double payment because it’s also now coming out of my husband’s personal account, which I have NEVER gave you any of his bank info nor does it even appear in my payment in my account with you. It ONLY shows my PayPal account that is authorized. So your company for two months now took payment out of two different account’s (not authorized) but only received ONE box of product. Except for February where you got payment from two different accounts (NOT Authorized) but didn’t get NO box of product at all. Because the usps threw it away. And YOU never credited me back or sent a new box out. Shame on you for scamming people out of money and ripping me off!!! If I do my math right. As far as I’m concerned your company owes me a credit of 3 boxes. Either the money should be sent back OR 3 boxes of DARK brown hair dye product should be delivered to me since you’ve already got paid (twice for two months) but no product was received. Oh and the FREE box of product or credit for your 100% money back guarantee or free box of product if dissatisfied. My hair is now purpleI did answer the questions about my hair color being dark brown with auburn highlights and I sent a picture of myself. What I received was dark brown mahogany. I had qualms about using it because of the word mahogany but there were so many wonderful reviews that I thought: what could go wrong? So, I trusted the color experts and colored my hair on Sunday. What I ended up with was very dark brown hair with purple. I'm so upset that I don't want to go out of the house. I trusted that my picture alone would have told this colorists that my hair was brown and Auburn like I had said. I absolutely hate giving negative reviews but I want anyone reading this to be very careful in answering and using the product that they are sent. How is purple related to auburn? I'm too trusting. I can't believe I did this. The only reason I gave two stars is because my hair is shiny now, the boxing was very professional the instructions were wonderful and everything was first rate except the color choice I received. Color turned out too light - disappointed in final resultI'm pretty disappointed that my color turned out much lighter than i had hoped it would. I was unsure about the instructions but followed them to a "T" only coloring my roots and not blending fully into the rest of my hair. There is a line on my head where the new, lighter color on my roots begins and my regular color continues. I'm not sure if i'll be purchasing again. Sometimes you know yourself betterI completed all of the appropriate information including adding pictures. The colorist customized a color they thought would suit me better than the color I had selected which I appreciated given I am far from a stylist. However, because my hair was two different colors, the ends darker, the color they customized did not blend the two together and instead left me with roots much lighter than they’ve ever been, gray hairs entirely exposed, and the length of my hair 2-3 shades darker than any of it. They are supposed to give me the color I originally requested for free but I’ve yet to get any response so we will see. Worst part is I had waited to grow out my old color as long as I could before coloring again and really thought this was going to be such a great at home remedy. About how this store worksI am not happy when I tried 1st purchase and I am surprised yesterday they charged me $33.77 for an order doesn't do for me. Is an auto purchase. So! I don't want to be forced to use a product that didn't order by me. Now I want to cancel the order and my money back. Because that purchase, I did in December was a test and I don't like it. Not the color I wantedMy hair was originally medium brown and I requested to go lighter to a dark blonde. The colorist messaged me and said with my skintone, I'd look better with an ash blonde color. The color turned out to be a medium/dark brown with significant red tones. Total opposite of what I wanted! I frequently added information via photos and commentary about how the color was fading as the weeks wore on. I was hoping to hear from the colorist as I added information but only just heard something via email today, when they were preparing the color to ship it out. Through my account I had requested to go lighter...again. The colorist told me my hair can't be lightened now with the color in it.
