Color is NOT ashMy hair looks like a dark brown with way too much red. I put in my initial notes that I was battling bronzing tones in my blonde, shown in original photos posted My hair has never been this red. :( not sure where to go from here. Wrong mixAccording to the number and the picture you offered in the pixture chart, my hair had to turn out medium ginger. But I got dark brown with purple sheen, that washed out after 2 weeks and only then it had slightly gingery sheen. Regardless of that I have dark brown hair now. Also, no colour number is to be seen in my order. When my hair dresser asked for the number, I found it nowhere in my account orders. And I had to start a false start of a profile to choose the shade I'd want to show the hairdresser the colour chart you give to choose from. As obviously it wasn't allowed to take a screenshot, was it? The hairdresser said the tone in the chart doesn't match the actual mix. LOVED THE COLOR BUT GRAY COVERAGE LASTED ONLY 2 WEEKS.Followed the exact directions and all gray coverage has pretty much faded in only 18 days. So unhappyI would’ve given no stars, but I had to give 1 star to leave a review. I ordered permanent dye to cover my grays, color “soft black.” I am so u happy with how my hair feels and looks. It feels very dry and the most unhealthy it’s felt in years (and I’ve been dying my gray roots for a while). It looks lighter at my roots with a red tint (never indicated wanting even a hint of red or wanting red in the base), as if the dye lightened my hair and didn’t put in any color. Many of my grays aren’t even covered and my ends are darker than my roots. I’m very disappointed and totally regret using this dye/brand. Honestly, I don’t know what to do from here to fix it because the last thing I want to do is put more dye on my damaged hair. At the very least, I expect a full refund for what I spent on the product. I will not recommend this to others. The colour was lovely but not what I wanted or expectedThe colour was nice, and on any other day I would have loved it but it is so much darker than I wanted and not how I described I wanted it, Judging from the colour chart provided. Which was a shame as I had my heart set on that colour. Also the amonia was so strong I had to walk out of my bath room 4 times during the application because it was making my eyes water. No thanks!I got my box and was so excited! I read everything and did just as instructed to do. I liked the color ok. But two weeks later the color is fading on everything. Every shampoo, next morning, or sweating, causes pink to fade on things. My pillowcase is stained after two weeks from the time I colored it. Disappointed.I am disappointed with the color this time. I had used a medium brown and had some mohogany blended, expecting I'd get a slight red peeking through. My selections led me to choosing another feature in the color, one of which was ash. Since I didn't want any of the other options offered, I felt I had no real choice. And as I suspected at the time, the color came out an ashy-brown, no red, slight or otherwise, just drab-brown. What is mohagany anyway, if not a reddish-brown? Medium Blonde turned my hair RedI asked for an exact color match to cover my grays. It’s nerve racking trusting anyone with your hair- it’s the frame for your face, so of course you need to get the color right the first time. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened for me. My hair now has a red tint to it- like a dark strawberry blonde… not my style and it was really obviously not a match for my roots as the grow out is already showing 4 weeks later. It doesn’t look professional and now I need to wait for the color to wear off and then pay a salon to fix my hair. Additionally it’s super strong in the chemical smell, which can’t be good for my hair or scalp. I tried to leave a note for my stylist but I also found out that you can’t take advantage of their guarantee and leave a note for the stylist on your account unless you are paying to place a new order. Dark muddy brown not red like I asked forReally unhappy and disappointed with my first try of esalon. My hair was red and I wanted my roots to match, now my hair is dark brown (basically my natural colour) it looks awful and will be dark and depressing all winter now as I can’t dye again without damaging it. ProductIve been using ur product for quite awhile now and i have had no problems with the color solution but lately these two last orders I have been noticing a lot of hair lost while rinsing off solution. Wrong colorI ordered a chocolate brown but after following the directions it turned out pitch black which was not the goal at all. It was suppose to be Demi-permanent as well but after three washes with a clarifying shampoo it hasn’t washed out at all… not sure if mine got mixed up with someone else’s. Not impressedThe color was a lot darker and less vibrant than what I chose and was looking for. It made my hair super dry ( way more than the otc color I typically use. ) I ran out of the end color and had to run the root color way lower than my root line and I still ran out of color. I ended up adding a little water to my head to stretch it out some. It was close. I know I have a lot more hair than most people, it usually takes my three boxes of otc dye to cover my head. HorribleIt did not change my color a single shade. It literally looks like I just spent 45min shampooing my hair. I took a before and after photo and the only difference is the after looks like clear and styled hair and the before is not washed and styled. No color change at all. Fades, wrong color, burns hairI ordered ONE single order to try. Now I just got an auto ship of another color kit and a $38 charge! This is the worst color I have ever used. It is RED and I said COOL/ASH. It faded out from brown to blond & burned my hair! Awful. Then they sent me a second color even after I complained. I sent it back. They still charged me $26 for the one I sent back that I did not order! This is a very shady company. fades easilyThe color fades easily after a week, is not hiding my grey hairs fully, after 3-4 times washing the color from the grey hair fades and I see my grey hairs again. I thought that I am not coloring correctly and tried the barber do the coloring and still no change. I would prefer going to salon to color my hair. I would like to stop the service and can't find the option under my portfolio. I have received the color set that was shipped to me last week but I am not going to use it. This is terrible!I received it n was so excited to receive it. I applied the color n waiting … rinsed it all out washed n conditioned it. Waited for it to dry a bit. The color took to my roots but not length of my hair! Geez I look ridiculous! Wish I never tried it! Now I have to figure out how to cancel this! Colour way darker than advertisedI ordered a dark blonde colour and the colour after i had finished was more like a very dark brown, I'm really not happy as its at least 3-4 shades darker than my natural colour! I think the product quality is ok, my hair doesn't feel damaged so that's at least something. The instructions were easy to follow, my hair came out even but a shame it's a totally different colour than what I ordered. I would say order if you want to stay your current colour and just cover greys it will work great, but i wouldn't recommend ordering if you want to change your colour even if only 1 or 2 shades lighter, you might end up with something totally unexpected like i did 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Too dark!I’m sure when I ordered this I wanted to blend highlights to my natural dark brown hair. I’ve just got round to using it after being worried about a permanent dye and found it’s way darker than I was expecting! However, the actual product comes with everything you need to colour your hair and my hair feels lovely and soft - just disappointing that the colour is so wrong for me… husband asked if there was a photo of the colour (No) just what I’d ordered… Maybe in June I had wanted to go much darker (?) but have just used and now thinking of dye remover … It might just take a while to get used to…. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Good kit but not right colourI ordered dark brown with a slight hint of red mahogony. I dyed my hair last night but it is far too red for what i wanted 😢 I wanted something more natural like an auburn colour as i’ve tried loads of red dyes in the past but this is not natural at all. I’m hoping the red fades out. I would order again but i would order a different colour. Undertone was wrong :(I specified I wanted an ashed out demi permanenr as this is what i traditionally do every three months. Not quite what I neededThe product was easy enough to use and the instructions were clear. This was a kit made for root touchups on dark blonde hair. Either I did not order a light enough shade, or I did not leave it on long enough. My roots have an orange-y look to them. Definitely not what I wanted. Couldn’t open! Seriously!The bottle of color was sealed unevenly in a way that made it impossible to open. I even had my husband, and 23 yr old son try. My husband ended up drilling a hole in the side so I could squeeze out the content into a bowl to use. Color was nice, but didn’t last more than 3 weeks. Poor resultsAfter completing the custom colour questionnaire, I didn't receive my custom colour hair pack; I got a set colour pack instead. Quite disappointed with the end results. Even though I followed the instructions, the colour didn't set as hoped. The roots ended up too red, the greys weren't covered, and the colour overall was not uniform. Awful colorNot only did it not take. It lasted 3 washing’s and left my hair like string. Let alone I canceled my subscription and as usual. I keep getting billed. I never like any of your subscription types because of that reason alone, you never get them to stop charging your card you matter how many times you canceled. Color I know this business.
