I am so glad I gave this a try. It's a nice color, and it colors evenly, which is hard to find. It covers my gray fairly well, although not perfectly. My temples turn silver after a week or so. I appreciate that they have the option to purchase a 2nd bottle, with a lighter color, to use on ends and to refresh color.
I tried the adjusted color today and am very pleased with the outcome. Adding the ash tone was exactly what was needed for a more natural look. Thank you Mindy for your attention to detail!
I have never colored my hair. I decided to do it by myself. It's so much work lol. These products are sensitive to the scalp. I did not experience any burn or itch. The shampoo and conditioner that's included smells so good. Even the actual product does not have a strong smell. Anyone that is used to coloring their hair at home, should definitely get one from esalon. I am satisfied with my end results. I will purchase again. My sister and niece have already ordered. Loved the color and it doesn't fade fast. I love being able to adjust, seeing I need more grey coverage in the front areas. I also love that they are listening seeing I want all red tones out and the color not fade to that awful orangee ting.
Love the gray coverage and how well it blended with my already colored hair, but covered my 6 months of new growth very well. The red is holding well without fading... so far so good!

I was so nervous about my first-ever at-home hair color! I needn't have worried. The color is spot-on and it covered my grays. Great all-over coverage - I haven't noticed any area that doesn't look blended (and trust me, I looked). The color I used was a reddish blonde (strawberry blonde), so I'm interested to see how long it lasts. And I'll definitely use eSalon again - big money saver!
I have stubborn grey so getting to three to four weeks before I see grey is fantastic. Over the counter boxed color was not working anymore. This was a great product with no irritation or strong smell. I will continue to use this product!

Was concerned with doing color in an online format but the color was basically spot on. Initially, I thought it was a bit dark but realized after a few days the color was perfect. Needless to say I am very pleased with the results. This is the first time I have colored my hair myself.
Hair felt great after color - soft, shiny and a lot of body. two weeks in and it has not faded. The color was nice but a touch brassy. I used the dark blond color however I might order a different color going forward.
It took a couple months to get the right mixture, but this was perfect! Absolutely perfect. I love that my feedback was considered and that I now have the perfect color for me.

The color is very beautiful every time I use this product. My hair is not dried out and very easy to manage. I use this product in the past and stopped when I let my hair grow out to my natural color until it got too much Gray. Love it!
I am a salon bunny but we live in Covid times. Having tried an off the shelve, common high street brand, I was left utterly disappointed. So I tried esalon —- very different results! Colour was perfect — I had my daughter do my hair using the fab toolkit - my hair was shiny and sooofffttt!
Now my roots are showing so can’t wait for the kit to arrive in 2 days.
Really like this color. Just enough difference in my grey blonde hair to give it more dimension! Although it did dry my hair even with the conditioner.

First it comes nicely packaged with super easy personalized instructions and they supply videos and email for additional questions on line. Colorant gives even coverage, richly pigmented and your hair is super conditioned and I mean conditioned for weeks after. Covers grey brilliantly especially if you apply the way they instruct you too. You can change at anytime your range of color or the autodelivery (which I highly recommend) dates. This is salon quality color in your home at a fraction of the price. It's my new found secret.
I needed a touch up on my roots and all the salons being closed due to covid this was a life saver!! I have greys and blonde balayage so my hair is very fragile and can look cheap with box hair dye touch ups if not done right but with following all the instructions and my daughters help I ended up with salon results!
With the stay at home orders for COVID-19, I was forced to cover my own gray hair for the first time. E Salon made it easy! They provided a complete kit for covering up gray roots. Comes with the coloring ingredients, 2 sets of gloves, a brush for application, sample size shampoo and conditioner plus good instructions. I made my best guess on color, and added in some gold to add a shiny highlight (as their highlights are out of stock). I am very pleased with the gray coverage results which lasted about 6 weeks, but could have gone to 8 weeks. I am so pleased with the color, the shine, the gray coverage, that I will continue to do it myself and save loads of money! Now if they would only get get Highlights back in stock......
I would highly recommend using Esalon color and products. They were very personable in their consultation and guided me to the correct color. It was easy to put on even for a beginner.

I usually get my hair professionally colored monthly. I do this to color my grays. With the COVID-19 quarantine, I had not been to my colorist since February 2020. I gave E Salon the info on the color my colorist uses. The color I received was a perfect match to my colored hair!
I was so impressed that the color came exactly the way I wanted it, and that was without a picture! It was perfectly packaged with clear instructions. I used the little brush and mixed in a bowl. It is easy to apply, and so much cheaper than a salon. I think the color is going to stay for quite awhile. This is my first time using the product, but I will most likely reorder.
The products exceeded expectations. My hair feels healthier than when I go to salon. I think I will continue even after pandemic. Easier than sitting in a chair for 2 hours
my daughter applied my hair color using a smudge technique. she has a talent with hair and did a wonderful job applying the dye. it looks great! it covers most obvious grays but is still natural looking--a definite improvement

I chose this product as I usually have hair coloured at a salon but during the pandemic this wasn’t possible. Very easy to use with full instructions. Very good result. Really pleased with it.
My expectations were simple - I have nothing to loose trying eSalon. I have been using Schwarzkopf for decades both in Canada and the USA. I have been paying premium at the hair salon. The pandemic challenges were opportunities for resets. I am so happy with the results and have been complimented on my color both in person and video conferences! This custom color is exactly my original hair color...I don’t know how you did it! Every time I use it, there is no way to tell that I have recolored my roots and hair.

Love Esalon! Absolutely Love my color Light Brown/Golden copper. I always hated going to salons. Esalon makes it easy. Now when I color I do it before my shower then hop in. easy breezy!
We changed the formula this time and the color turned out perfectly. The best color so far. I have a lot of gray at the hair line and it was covered completely. Great product
I am very happy with the color. It matched perfectly to my color and covered the grey. I asked for a lighter color but would prefer the same color. I hope that my colorist will see this and keep the color the same as last time.
My natural hair is medium mousy brown. I wanted it lighter, but my hair gets damaged using bleach. My colorist at esalon did a great job adjusting the color combination to accent the red in my hair with golden-copper. Perfect!
I was skeptical because of my dark natural hair I couldn’t order the light blonde I had been using. I ordered a dark blonde (strawberry) and I am thrilled! The color and depth are beautiful!
When I originally ordered this product, I was a little leary about ordering anything online without knowing too much about it. Well, this is fantastic!!! My wife loves the color and also the way her hair feels. Since I am the person who does her color, this is now the only product that will go on my wife's pretty little head. This is a must-use brand.
The kit was super easy to understand and use, and the brush and bowl method was a HUGE improvement over the bottle method. There was plenty of dye for my thick, medium length hair. The color turned out great and I'm so glad I chose eSalon. I will absolutely be ordering more and keeping up the dye on my own. I love this easy to use. Makes my hair very soft. I had 2 bottles in my kit. We used 1 bottle the first go round and covered well. Only covered about 90% of grays. Waited 3 weeks and used other bottle. Left it on 45 min by mistake but it enhanced my color and covered 98% grays. Like this a lot. Will use again.
Due to Covid-19 closures I couldn’t get my hair colored by my stylist so decided to do it myself. Chose e-Salon because it was on a special offer that included free shipping. This product was great. The color met my expectations and application easy. If I decide to do it myself again I will definitely reorder and gladly recommend e-Salon for your use.
I was impressed with the texture of the hair dye feeling creamy and thick. The color turned out beautiful and my hair was soft and shiny. I was more impressed that the color came out even on the roots and the ends. That has never happened with boxed hair dye from the store. I am very pleased.
