The outcome wasn't satisfactoryWell, it's too dark on my hair. My family even didn't realize I color my hair. I expected more change. I can say the quality of the product is good. Turned my hair orange TWICE in the last 6 monthsI have been a customer since 2016 dying my hair every 4 weeks. July 2024 I dyed my hair as usual and once dry I noticed my hair was orange wherever the dye was put in my hair. I called esalon & they apologized and shipped out a replacement box for free. I did notice that the dye had exploded out of the bottle in the garbage can where I had thrown it out and this never happens. Fast forward to Dec 2024, dye my hair and hair is orange again! I’m so upset as this is the second time and it is the holidays and I have events to attend and my hair is orange. I call esalon and ask them to please overnight the replacement box. I ask why this is happening and the colorist on the phone admits I’m not the first & that they've been having warehousing issues!!! Needless to say they said they would ship out express and they did not and I got it 10days later and spent the holidays with orange hair. The dye also again exploded out of the bottle in garbage can. Too light & didn’t cover graysI asked for the darkest brown with copper tones. My hair is now a light coppery brown color. Also, it didn’t cover up my grays. I followed the instructions exactly and I’m very disappointed in the results. Another problem was the smell. I’ve used a few different hair color services to try find the best one for me, and this one was the most chemical smelling. I’m still sneezing hours later. Deckt Grau nicht ab und Gefahr einer AbofalleZum einen deckt es den grauen Ansatz nicht gut ab, zum anderen gerät man bei der Bestellung in eine Abofalle, wenn man angibt, wie oft man gewöhnlich die Haare färbt. Diese Angabe führt schon zu einem Abo! Wenn man dieses Vorgehen per Mail bemängelt und um eine Rücksendung anfrägt, bekommt man keine Antwort. Auch PayPal war an der Stelle keine Hilfe! Nun habe ich eine Packung teurer Haarfarbe bezahlt, die keine gute Grauabdeckung hat. Achtung: passt auf, was ihr bei der Bestellung an Informationen ankreuzt, es kann zu einem ungewollten Abo führen. Der Service meldet sich nicht zurück! Sie schweigen und sitzen es aus! Ich habe nun das Abo in meinem Account gestoppt. Was auch nicht geht ist, das Kundenkonto mit allen Daten zu löschen. Farbe ist primaIch habe jetzt zum 3.Mal die Haarfarbe erhalten. Die Farbe an sich ist echt sehr schön und sieht auch tatsächlich überhaupt nicht künstlich aus. Doch könnte der Inhalt etwas mehr sein und ich habe den Eindruck, dass die Haare irgendwie stumpf nach dem Färben sind. Aber ich probiere die Intervalle der Lieferung zu verlängern, vielleicht löst sich dann das Problem mit den stumpfen Haaren. DisappointedVery disappointed. I got NO blonde, just took away what blonde I already had. It came out a grayish muddy color that was drab and dull, and the ugliest color I would NEVER hope to have. I hope it's ok to recolor right now, because that's what I'm going to do, as I will not be out in public with this crappy color. I was hoping it was gonna be great. But not even close. Medium blonde. Completely different from picture onlineThe colour looks nothing like shown on the website, hair turned out to have an orange tint, no ash in it at all, the greys didn’t get fully covered and it didn’t lighten my hair. I AM NOT IMPRESSED!This is a waste of time & money. Received this, followed the instructions for application which was a 2 step process I do not like and too time consuming first of all. Secondly, with in 3 days of coloring my hair I was seeing grays pop back up, faded out already & my roots were entirely with out any of the color left on them!! The hair color I buy from the store lasted longer than this stuff!! I AM DONE! ONE TRY & DONE WITH THIS PRODUCT!! I expected much better results than I received with this. Entirely disappointed and do not want any more. I used the shampoo & conditioner they sent with it and it is terrible too! Used all the conditioner and could barely comb through my hair afterwards!! 3rd color and it’s still not rightI haven’t had the best luck with my colors. I’ve reached out several times and they send a lighter color the following box but it’s still too dark. It’s been frustrating because I have sent them photos of the color I want as well as my own hair and it still hasn’t been better. I’m hoping the next box will be the right color or it will be my last order. Lovely PearlI was very excited about my colour. All was peachykeen until the step to add water to bottle and massage mixture into hair. I almost died! I had to rinse hair earlier than planned so my grays ended up being tinted a faint reddish brown. What I did end up with was a headache that lasted till the next day. Low qualityThis color never matched what I asked for. They changed it by colorist recommendation and it’s horrible. Doesn’t cover grays at all. Only lasts about a week. Really cheap! Horrible !!!!Colored my hair twice and it did not cover my grey hair. The first time it was too light and the next time it was too dark. It looked like muddy brown. Beautiful ColorThe color is beautiful. I would recommend if you have gray hair around your face to do it first and then at the end do it again for some reason the color does not pick up there. I have used this kit a couple times and always do the crown first but both times the color did not stick. This set I just used was good, but the color container with the blue cap would not open no matter what I tried. I had to drill a hole in the top to get the color out. I feel like the cap should be removable for a due at home kit. Amazing product ridiculous shipping timeWriting this review as recommended with an email yet still not received items. However I have previously purchased from this brand and before the product was great. however I placed my order on the 7/12/23 and it is now 26/12/23 and is still in transit took them about 5-7 days to dispatch very unhappy. Viel zu dunkel. Haare ruiniertIch wolle von mittelblond zu hellbraun. Ich wurde dunkelbraun-schwarz und es wäscht sich als Intensivtönung auch nicht ausreichend raus. Mitarbeiter hat es herzlich wenig interessiert. Nun muss ich es beim Friseur richten, was teuer wird und meine Haare strapaziert. Would like to cancelBack in the summer of this year I talked to someone asking them to cancel my order because I was going to be out of the country and because the product I was receiving wouldn’t cover my white hair completely. The first order was really good, but I tried a couple more times and it just didn’t seem to work the same. Non desired outcomeMy colour didn't come out well. I took it to the salon and followed the instructions. We had to wait extra 10mins after putting the step 2 and massage all over my hair. Not happy with the unwanted colourDid ordered the blonde coper, and to be honest i think they sented me the wrong colour, turns out my hair is auburn now and very dark. Schnell wieder ausgewaschen, keine gute grauabdeckungDas Outfit war super, sehr nett verpackt, und auch die Anleitung war verständlich und gut erklärt. Man kann gar nichts falsch machen. Meine Haare fühlten sich nach der Farbe nicht so toll an, aber das ist sonst auch so. Leider sah man meinen Ansatz und auch die grauen Haare nach 3 Haarwäschen wieder durch. Doesnt cover greyEvery time I get this I tell them it needs to cover grey and I follow the instructions. Every time, as soon as I wash off the dye, you can see the greys right off. Was it the right color mix???When l first opened the esalon l was very impressed with the arrangement and order of it. As l read the instructions and check the color chart that was part of the instructions. (Which was thrown out) l notice that there was copper add to it. One of the information gave my colorist is l wanted to to have less brassy color in my hair. I trusted my colorist thinking she knows what she is doing and colored my hair. It burnsI think this formulae is too strong for my skin. It burned my skull after I applied it. And also I found I lost a lot more hair afterwards. I ordered two orders after my first application of this. I didn’t notice the loss of hair until later. Now I got the two orders but I don’t think I will use them. Tiny amounts of productsNobody gets in touch with you and says that you have really thick hair and will need four boxes of this. The glove burst before I started using anything it's all too small. I want you to never contact me again and don't send me anything else. It's either greed or not professional people who are looking at the picture. I can see it not got the same amount as a L'Oréal boxed dye. But I thought they must know what they are doing and it must spread out easily and I was so wrong now I need to go to a salon tomorrow and get it fixed. Thanks for nothing. The worst everThe last order received in June 2023 was the worst color kit I have ever had. I just got around to using it this past weekend and though I stated in my order that I needed something to color, stubborn gray, I was greatly disappointed to see that it did not even color the gray that I had around my temple. I have purchased this product a few times to have on hand when I need a touchup between salon services. In the past I have been pleased for the most part, at least for 2 to 3 weeks I could cover the gray along my front hairline. This time, I was so disappointed to find that after all the time I took to make sure the area is covered properly. I rinse my hair to find the gray still there. Completely incorrect colourI was really excited to try this product as I read some good reviews and have been meaning to change my current dye to a less damaging one. The package itself was cute and everything’s nicely described and included, but whilst dying my hair I immediately noticed that the colour was a lot more pink than my desired copper tone, but I carried on dying it according to the instructions. Once washed out and blow dried - my hair is dark purple/red-ish colour. It’s much, much darker than I needed and a completely different colour than what I wanted. Darker than expectedOrdered light ash blonde. Result is dark ash blonde. Followed instructions carefully. On the plus side, it covered grey hair, and left my hair in good condition. Please don’t use thisI want to preface this by saying that I’ve never left a bad review for a company or product before. So it breaks my heart to have to say this about an idea that I truly trusted. But, please, if you want your hair to go to the colour you outline in your initial choice, please just go to the hairdressers or use another dye. If you use E-Salon, you’ll end up with a colour three levels darker than you asked for, with no way to remove it. My story’s this, I had naturally warm, level 4-5 hair, that took me ages to lift from a dark brown colour. I came to E-Salon for a neutralising colour over this as I didn’t like the level of warmth I had. My partner helped me to dye my hair, and followed ALL of the instructions correctly, and despite this, my end result it that I now have black brown hair, which will take me years to lift back to my original colour without damage. Did not work..After following the directions. I put my hair in a style for a 3 days. And I took the ponytail out I noticed that the roots of my hair were a light brown and still very lightly grades The color did not take. It's not happy with the results I am not 100% satisfied not even 50%.smh.. hoping that the guarantee works.. The color has been in my hair for 3 days. I have uploaded photos of what it looks like now. Okay so I tried a second time to use this hair color. Unfortunately this does not work for my hair type or texture. It turned the roots of my grays into a bronze brown color. And my hair in the sunlight looks brown instead of black. I cannot use this product I will no longer have trust that it will help me. I do thank you for the opportunity for the second chance with the free hair color. I just need to find something that works for me. I followed instructions both times I may have even let the color sit a little longer the second time. But the moment it was washed out I could see that it had not completed the process again. It didn’t work color won’t take on my hairNot to mention when you try to cancel it they will keep charging your card and completely ignore you no matter how many times you reach out. Then it says then sent it every month I got it every other month. They don't listen or follow your request.the color I received was too dark.I should ask for a refund. I briefly put a nite that I don't want too dark due to my grey hair but they still give me a very dark color. Defective Color BottlePlease send asap a bottle of coloring and the solution. The color bottle would not open, so my husband punched a hole in the top to get the color out, but it would not pour into the solution bottle well. Farbe ist zu dunkelIch habe Mittelbraun Asch bestellt, ich habe damit meine Haare gefärbt, meine Haare sind zu dunkel geworden, es sieht wie schwarz aus, obwohl meine Haare hellbraun waren, ich wollte ein bisschen dunkler haben, aber sind leider sehr dunkel geworden. Weirdest hair productI was excited to try esalon after seeing so many wonderful reviews, but sadly I was left disappointed and annoyed. When the parcel arrived it was beautifully packaged, the gloves ripped on me and this obviously caused problems, then as I have extremely thick and long hair there wasn’t enough shampoo and conditioner included. Since I had explained this when filling out all the hair questions I was disappointed. The dying process was simple and easy but the brush provided was cheap and nasty and the bristles were too hard on my head so I ended up using my own. Then when it came to finishing off I rinsed my hair as advised and towel dried it as much as I could but then I could not for the life of me get a brush though my hair, so drying and styling took a couple of hours. I was happy with the colour, but over a few days my hair was extremely difficult to unknot and style, my hair felt dried and my ends were really bad that I had to goto a hairdressers to have a minimum of five inches cut off because the dye had absolutely killed my ends! The products are strong smelling and not easy to remove from skin even with a stain remover cloth included and barrier protection! Not Impressed...Mahogany is a reddish-brown color. Generally, a blend of red, brown, and amber. I am aware many shades can be formulated, but this was not even close! The product went on easily. As it developed, it looked very dark, however, when finished, I could not see any red. In addition, it barely covered my gray roots, and yes, I did follow the directions explicitly. Since I just used the product, I have not had the opportunity to use the additional products that I purchased. Color is NOT ashMy hair looks like a dark brown with way too much red. I put in my initial notes that I was battling bronzing tones in my blonde, shown in original photos posted My hair has never been this red. :( not sure where to go from here. Wrong mixAccording to the number and the picture you offered in the pixture chart, my hair had to turn out medium ginger. But I got dark brown with purple sheen, that washed out after 2 weeks and only then it had slightly gingery sheen. Regardless of that I have dark brown hair now. Also, no colour number is to be seen in my order. When my hair dresser asked for the number, I found it nowhere in my account orders. And I had to start a false start of a profile to choose the shade I'd want to show the hairdresser the colour chart you give to choose from. As obviously it wasn't allowed to take a screenshot, was it? The hairdresser said the tone in the chart doesn't match the actual mix. LOVED THE COLOR BUT GRAY COVERAGE LASTED ONLY 2 WEEKS.Followed the exact directions and all gray coverage has pretty much faded in only 18 days. I only wash my hair 2x a week - condition every other day. So unhappyI would’ve given no stars, but I had to give 1 star to leave a review. I ordered permanent dye to cover my grays, color “soft black.” I am so u happy with how my hair feels and looks. It feels very dry and the most unhealthy it’s felt in years (and I’ve been dying my gray roots for a while). It looks lighter at my roots with a red tint (never indicated wanting even a hint of red or wanting red in the base), as if the dye lightened my hair and didn’t put in any color. Many of my grays aren’t even covered and my ends are darker than my roots. I’m very disappointed and totally regret using this dye/brand. Honestly, I don’t know what to do from here to fix it because the last thing I want to do is put more dye on my damaged hair. At the very least, I expect a full refund for what I spent on the product. I will not recommend this to others.
