I had given up finding a suitable colour for my hair; even salon dyed it had brassy tones, so I was delighted to stumble across eSalon. The initial colour was a bit dark but perfect once adjusted by the team. I am totally delighted!

I have tried all brands of hair colours and they only last for about 2 weeks before the grey would come through. I found this on Facebook would you believe and thought well il give it a go it was so easy to use and last nearly 2 months I have recommended it to all my friends have now ordered it 3 times now I will be staying with salon. Have self colored my hair for some time. This is exceptional color and having the consistent opportunity to switch it up any way I like works for me. The customer service is so helpful and quick to respond. Not to mention, getting it delivered to my door is priceless :)
I am truly amazed at the coverage of my custom hair color. And don't let me mention how long it is lasting. I'm used to the "other" ones lasting about 3-4 weeks. ESalon has lasted 5 and looks like it can go for at least 5 more..(stayed tuned for my next review). The color itself is still gorgeous & shiny as if I just applied it. I know I have my new forever hair dye!

I absolutely love the service I get with the esalon products sent to me. I love the ease, being able to do at home. I actually would rather go to a salon and be pampered, but with major back problems, I can not be bent over the sinks there. So, I do my own, the color is beautiful as I get lots of compliments. I am completely excited and happy with the way my hair color turned out!!! I have never colored my hair before and after several people commented on all of my grey hair, and being only 38, I felt it was time to take the plunge. I have been so scared to pick the right product as I didn't want my hair to turn green. I loved the eSalon as they screened me really well. They asked me what I wanted for my hair, had me take a picture of my hair to get it the right color and if I wanted anything extra. I loved that they really wanted to get it right! After ordering, the product was created and shipped. It arrived to me within a week, which is super fast where I live. When I got the product I was super excited to see not just ONE application but TWO as the personal letter sent to me with the product information and supplies said I might need two since it was my first time with their product! I really appreciated that as I was so worried and scared that it wasn't going to work and I would have to fix something. They included super easy step by step instructions to follow and that also made me feel better! When it was finished I couldn't believe it!!! My grey hair was all gone and the color was exactly the same as it was before I started except with some really subtle reds and blonds that you can barely see unless you are in the right light! I LOVE THAT!!! I didn't want my hair to be obvious that I've colored it and probably the only people who will be able to tell are the ones that were giving me a hard time about it in the first place! I've waited a week to write this review as I wanted to see what my hair would look like after a week of washing and styling. It still looks amazing! I can see a couple grey hairs have come up but no where near what it was before coloring and it doesn't bother me! Thank you eSalon!!! Will totally order again!
I have been colouring my hair for over 20years both at home and in the salon and this is the best home colour I have tried my hair was so soft and silky and the colour had lovely rich tones to it I am now a convert and have my colour on autoship with esalon
I was a bit leary about ordering hair color online and when i got it in the mail I still wasn't sure that I was going to use it. But I got the courage up, followed the instructions and VOILA....great, natural looking color that covered all the grays around my hair line. Thank you esalon!! I've already praised you on facebook.
Excellent color! It matched my hair color perfectly and blended my few greys naturally. I will definitely keep using this product. I am a huge Clairol semi perm dark brown fan, however, I actually found this to be even more gentle without compromising the color. My hair wasn't dry afterwards, nor did it disrupt my 3B curl pattern.
Approximately 10 days after using eSalon color, I went to a hair stylist that I had never used before. Having no knowledge or what my hair looked like before or how or where I colored my hair , she actually told me "nice color". Great comment from a person that does this for a living.

The coverage was great and the color was long-lasting. It turned out too dark but I'm sure my colorist and I will figure it out. It's all process. I have to say it would be easier to determine my color on a brown skinned African-American model as I am a chocolate colored African-American woman as shown by the picture I sent in. Come on eSalon, you can do it! Diversity is real.
This is ten times better than store bought. I am a real customer. I was a little sceptical at first, but at this price, u can't loose. I am 40 and have grey to cover up. It did a great job.
I had gotten my hair cut early in 2017. It was a new stylist for me and she said, I can tell that you are switching boxes, you need to pick one and stick with one, preferably a more expensive brand as this one is damaging your hair. *gasp* I looking into eSalon and have never looked back. This is such an awesome service and each time I add a comment for a change - smidge of this or smidge of that, it is right on. Love love love!

I love eSalon, my hair color is just what I wanted. In the summer I'm in the sun a lot, had asked to change my hair color to a little darker, since I tan very dark. With no issues my hair color was changed, and I'm very satisfied.
I was a little concerned that the adjusted color formula would be obvious on my roots, but it blends perfectly and looks even better than before. Can't beat it!
This was my second time to use E Salon and after the first use my hair was too red. We had the product adjusted and now it's a perfect ash blond! It's so easy to use and not messy at all. I'm not use to coloring my own hair but It's getting easier. I love that it covers the gray so well!!
I've been using esalon color for 4 months now. It comes every 4 weeks (I have fast growing grays I like to call environmental damage). I like how you can set your in between times. Very easy to use by yourself or spend QT with your daughter as she helps me with mine and now I help her with her esalon color.

It matches my normal hair color perfectly. I never have grow out lines. The only reason I have to color it is because of my grey hair. The instructions are very easy and straight to the point.
I was nervous about trying a different brand than the one I've used for years. I took a deep breath and headed to the restroom. This was easy to apply and I left it on for 50 minutes (I always leave color on longer than recommended to get my stuborn grays). I used the shampoo and conditioner which is included in the beautiful packaging, and they are lovely. They smell so nice and clean. They made my hair so clean and nicely conditioned. I'm here to buy a bottle each, I like it so much.
Well that moment you step out of the shower and sneak up on the mirror to peak. It looks beautiful. The perfect shade for my skin tone. It even covered my super stubborn gray temples.
I'm so happy and this will be my hair color for life.

I am a very happy customer, and I am very particular about my hair. This is very easy to use with easy to follow directions customized for you. It doesn't drip a lot and covers grey completely. You can "tweak" the color any time, just let them know what you want. The shine is incredible!
I think the key is to give your colorist ALL the information you can--and a photo in strong light so she/he can see what you're aiming for or against.
The coloring directions are spot-on and SO easy to follow. I'm a huge fan.

I must admit I would prefer to be pampered in a salon but would now be worried they could match the quality or colour.
My hair has been colored by myself or a proffessional for over 30 years. After retiring I started coloring my hair at home using my stylist's formula. Even with all the tweaks to formula over the years, there was still a harshness to my copper red color. I am amazed and delighted wih the formula provided to me by eSalon....they listened and got it absolutely right the very first order!! The application is easy and the color delightful...I highly recommend!!
This was my first time to use this product. I was skeptical at first as I have not had good luck with the typical box coloring at the store and yet the cost of having my stylist color my hair was too expensive. I was VERY pleased with this product; the ease in application; the instructions were clear and easy to follow; the attention by your staff to make sure my color was as close to my current color; and the cost was very reasonable! I am a VERY satisfied customer.
I absolutely love my hair color. The colorist has nailed it. After sending in pictures then later changing my mind about what I wanted, my color remains brilliant and beautiful. I color over 50% gray every 5 weeks. My hair is "fine" but there is a lot of it. This product does not dry my hair like the store bought (and even a bad salon). I have gotten quite a few compliments with my most recent color change. Two of them from professional salon owners. Thank you for making a great product at a reasonable price!
I am satisfied with the last root touch up color. I only use 1/2 of the mix so I would like change my shipment date to every 3 months. My hair has thinned over the years.

My first custom color was a little darker than I wanted and I changed my mind last minute when I got my first shipment of root touch up that I would like a change. I've been using e-salon for about four years now. The orders come when scheduled and if I change color at a salon, their colorist does a super job matching it when it's time for touch ups. I travel a lot and they are always able to send the products where they are supposed to go. Love it!
I like the color. I also like the service-arrives reliably. It is difficult for me to do root touch up following the directions given as my hair is thick. Last time tried putting hair in many small scrunched up pony tails and applying around each. That worked better. Dries out the hair - need to use lots of conditioner
This is the best 20 dollars ive spent every 5 weeks.... Color is beautiful and shines. More bang for my buck no store bought or 70 dollar salon color can beat this
