I am on my third round of color and its still great. It last so much longer than store bought kits. So far the color has been exactly what I've wanted.
Love this hair color for so many reasons! It is a perfect mix every time......never fails! Finishes with a high gloss and beautiful texture. Not a chance I will ever switch. And the beauty is that if you want to kick the color a bit one way or the other, it's no problem. I highly recommend this way to color hair at home!
This was my first time using eSalon. I have gone to the salon for years, but due to scheduling issues, decided to give this a try. The initial color I chose was changed by my color specialist to better match my current color. I was very unsure about the change and even called to verify it was correct. I am beyond thrilled with the results. It is actually better than the salon. My hair looks and feels incredible. I will be a repeat customer, for sure.
This color lasts longer than any other color I have used. I have gray roots and eSalon color covers them and conditions them. Very happy with the color that the colorist gave me and will continue to get shipped for my touch-ups!!
I wasn't expecting it to be spot on the color I wanted Bc let's be real, is it ever? If when going to a salon I've never walked out 100% happy. I was very impressed with the product and the coverage of my greys!!!
I think your service and products are excellent! I receive a special package just for me with all the detailed instructions made so easy. I much prefer to dye my own hair vs. paying about $100 to have it done! I would recommend eSalon to anyone!...
I was skeptical trying out eSalon, but the offer was too good to pass up. Surprisingly, I received my specialized box in a couple days from the order date. The contents of the box held everything I ordered. The specialized instruction note was very simple to read and follow. I usually use a brush to apply, but decided to try the bottle method for less mess using the quality gloves enclosed. It was so easy that way. I was able to complete the application in the time it recommended and set the timer as per instructions. I 'm happy to report, the dye smelled pleasant and not overwhelming or chemical-like. The shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing also. The whole process went smooth for me. The color was a perfect match and colored all my grey, which has been a problem for me when using my store dyes of choice. Thank you for this service! I'm extremely happy with the results.

I really liked the consistency of this product. It mixed up fast and easy. The color was a little darker than I thought it would be. Covered my gray very easily, better than store bought hair color. I was pleased with the easy application and the amount given. Most store bought hair color's don't cover all my hair but eSalon's did a great job covering it all and then some. I am very pleased with the program and product. My only concern was the continued auto send option. When I found out I could purchase it as I need it I was thriled. Most products set-up like this you can not purchase when you want to they send your product every 4-6 weeks anyway. I will continue to purchase from eSalon.
I really like that there are two custom made shades, one for my roots and the other for my ends. This is extra helpful because I have long hair. The color was a great match, no brassiness, and after week 3 the grays are remain covered. My hair was damaged from lifting and now feels healthier. Very impressive!
I love the idea of automatically getting my color in the mail just as my greys are just beginning to sprout! My colorist is also very accommodating by making adjustments as needed; still working on the "perfect" color.
I was a bit apprehensive to get a hair color online; how could I make sure that the color was really right for me? But I decided to try eSalon out, and boy, I'm so glad I did. After filling out what I wanted in my color, I got a message saying that color would be to dark for me, so my colorist, Courtney F., changed it to a lighter shade. When I got my color in the mail, I was so excited; I wanted to do my hair right then and there! When I finally colored my hair, I was so pleased! My hair looked like I went to a professional salon- the only indicator that I didn't was the dye I got on my neck (oops). Not only is this a high-end product, the customer service is amazing! I would highly recommend this to anyone!!
Love the convenience of not guessing what color I should use. First time, I've colored my hair myself and got all the grey hair colored. Loved the stain kit that is included !!!

This was my second color adjustment and the color is now perfect. I love it and appreciate being able to make these adjustments. I was also easily able to change my delivery date so that I received the new color before we left on our road trip. I will definitely be continuing with eSalon!
I have not coloured my hair for several months and allowed it to go completely gray. Then I ordered my custom colour and had my hair cut while I waited for it to arrive. When the colour arrived I was hesitant because I had not coloured my hair in a long time. But it was so easy! I had forgotten how easy. The products are easy to use and instructions are so clear. The results were perfect! All the gray was covered perfectly! Not a trace of gray! I could not be happier. All my friends were stunned at the change and I asked myself WHY did I ever let my hair go gray? Never it again!! Your colour product is fantastic and the shampoo and conditioner that comes in the package leaves my hair soft, silky and shiny. But the best part it all comes at a fraction of the cost of a salon colour process (I know because I was paying over $200 to have my hair coloured professionally). I have periodically had my hair professionally colored. I have random, scattered grays that were very hard to cover. Usually after getting my expensive color treatment at a salon I would come home and find some of the random strands of gray were still there taunting me. This is the first time that I have ever colored my hair where there was not a single gray hair to be found when I was done. The directions were easy to follow and I am thrilled with the color, which matches my natural color perfectly. I'm now a believer and will be continuing with autoship. I also love the Sleek Dreams Smoothing Balm to tame my frizzy hair. I have just ordered the shampoo and conditioner to go with it as well. Thanks for making such great products!
I decided to change my color and was so nervous about the process. The instructions were really clear and the color turned out exactly what I had wanted... something that has never happened at a salon.
I can only afford to get my hair colored professionally about once a year, so I usually use a popular diy brand. My roots were showing significantly after just 10 days, and I was really struggling to get my stubborn gray covered. The e-salon color lasts twice as long. I still have trouble with the white "baby" hair along the hairline, but it does cover most of it much better than what I was buying from the store. For those reasons, and the rapid, quality customer service, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
I need roots done every 3 weeks. Thought i would try this. I have highlites so i wanted it to be really close to my hair color and save highlights. It was actually the PERFECT COLOR! Cant ever get it right with store bought. Love it!

I love the red cast to my medium brown colored hair. My first custom color wasn't quite what I wanted, but my desired color was easier to describe after it and I now get exactly what I hoped for. Learning to communicate what I wanted was the only obstacle. The color is packaged for easy coloring and the color is a good consistency for even, no drip application. I have had to spread my orders further apart because the color (even the red) does not fade.
My hair stylist usually uses medium blonde on me. I decided to try dark blonde as I wanted something more my natural color!! Berenz nailed it!! I look fantastic and it was easier than I thought to do my own hair!!! I would definitely recommend eSalon to others!!
Wow great product. Left my locks deep in colour & shine. Never had a colour that has had such staying power for 8 weeks+. No bleeding after washing. Covered the grey, especially at my temples which always shows first. My home hairdresser was so impressed she has recommended it to one of her other clients and she has been colouring my hair for the past 6yrs!
Your product is so kind to my hair and the color is soooo close to my natural color - no one ever knows!! - except my husband. And everytime I color it, he says how much he likes it - several times a day. AND the shampoo and conditioner are the BEST finishing touches. My hair feels so soft and "comforted."
I am an African Amercan female in her mid 50s and I have lots of gray hair that is prominent around my edges. This color totally covers my gray all over. I use the semi permanent color because I do not want to damage my hair as it is not as strong as I have gotten older. The application process could not be any simpler. The cost is affordable. The directions were super easy to follow and even though I had my sister do the actual process, I probably could have figured it out myself. Originally had issues with the color but adjusting it was so easy and the stylists were very quick and helpful in their responses. Definitely will keep using this system. My hair looks great and feels a lot healthier despite all of the dye!

Great colour and my hair is back to being soft again. I bought 4 clips for my kit (long hair) my hubby finds it super easy to do my roots for me. I'm saving a bunch$ :)
They are very personalized and make sure you are getting the right color with questions and photos. I have not had any coloring problems using e salon and the color is long-lasting and when I asked to lighten my color just a smidge, they got it right. I am really impressed! and the price is right too.

While I haven't got quite to the color I want because I have black hair and trying to get a red violet color in it isn't the easiest, my colorist has been amazing in trying to make it what I want. I think my next color adjustment will be perfect for what I'm looking for. They make it easy to adjust the color and no one ever gets snotty with you, just very helpful.

I ordered Darkest Brown to match my hair color. I was a little worried it would be too close to black and my ends would look like dull mud. No need to fear; my color is the perfect match from from roots to ends without muddy dullness or brassiness. It looks and feels healthy and hasn't faded at all. I'm impressed, 5 stars.
