Love my color. So natural looking. AND its really great to have EVERYTHING you need right in the box. Only suggestion would to put another "stain remover" in the kit. This is the first time using this . I hope it covers my grey for a long time. Love it!
I decided I wanted to start the slow journey towards a lighter shade. My colorist did a great job! She informed me of the pertinent info and chose a root shade that was a great compromise between the color I have and the color I want to work towards.
The color is consistently perfect. Initially I requested several tweaks and the colorist was very patient and got it perfect. I was using over the counter color that was dark brown and I've been working on medium brown. This system has been helpful for that. I always love opening my custom hair color package. It always includes two pairs of gloves, stain preventer and remover, shampoo and conditioner. Two pairs of gloves are very handy-one pair for application and a second pair for rinsing out the color. My hair and scalp are very happy!
I am so lucky to have found esalon! I cannot believe how easy and helpful this has been. My personal colorist has been amazing. I have requested a few color changes and I have loved everyone of them. But I finally found one that is perfect and will continue to order it from now on. So happy!

This makes life easy. I started coloring my own hair to save money. Esalon makes it easy because I don't have try and remember when I colored last or what color I used. I only do the roots so my hair looks much healthier! Love them!
I wanted to change my color slightly. I have dark brown hair, am 72 and never had any other color. Wanted a hint of eggplant, that would show in the sunlight n dark brown when not in the sun. Thought this would be just enough wildness for someone my age. First time out n you got it just right!

I was expecting a flat black, but it has a hint of red you can see in the sun, cant wait to blow my hair. It was enough color for my long hair without shaking every last drop out.
The color is true to what I ordered. Be careful to follow the application process, however. After applying to my roots I forgot to wait one minute after applying the remaining color before I rinsed it out. I have 2-toned hair now because the second application did not have time to set. Boo-hoo.

Great instructions for a first time ever coloring. Everything I needed was in the kit. The color was adjusted to my liking the second time. Only great results and great things to say.
Unlike other salon stylists, with eSalon I'm not arguing with a stylist about wanting more ash in the color. No, it doesn't wash me out. No, I don't need more red. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've had 5 adjustments, each time with a bit more ash, and I love the results. At last, hair color support that lets me be the final judge. As I age, I'll want to go lighter, and I know when the time comes eSalon will support me through that transition.
These guys are so good at what they do! Perfect color every time. I'm on my 4th eColor application and have been very well satisfied each time. This last application, I decided I wanted to go darker, so I sent my request to my colorist, uploaded current photos, my colorist provided the new color formula, and it was perfect! When I used this the first time, it seemed healthy for my hair. I felt that it was GOOD for my hair. The hair dyes that I bought from the store turned my hair very dark and it took months to get my hair back in shape.
It is hard to get the color right with over the counter products when you have red hair. But this product gets the color right and seems to condition too! It is a good thing for your hair!!! A real treat!!!

I have tried almost every brand of over the counter hair color, none cover my grays very well. This product works fantastic and I absolutely love it. They package everything so nicely and great instructions. The entire package is special. You can postpone shipments easily and change up color easily and only have the shipments sent when you want them. I have nothing negative to say!
I was very nervous because I'm medium brown and all the hair colors I have tried before will leave a hint of red, even when I use a hair technician. This was perfect, I followed the instructions and I'm extremely please....no red!
This was my second package . I have had hair done at beauty parlor and at home with two main brands. I find esalon, fantastic. My hair shine,color is great. It is so simple, you can hang directions on the mirror. It comes with all you need.

The color was perfect. There was only one negative. My hair is thicker than I thought and I didn't have enough color. I have asked about adding another ounce but have not heard back yet. The shampoo and conditioner was awesome. I have added them to my next order.
My first time using this product. I used to use the foam hair colors and of course the salon. I just would prefer to do it myself as long as it looks rich and healthy. My color is really lovely, I am going to have it adjusted just a little for next time. I love the fact it is made just for you and is fresh when you receive it to do your hair. I luv the way this leaves my hair; so soft & so beautiful; the colors are so gentle, not harsh-looking that It's hard to tell I've colored at home since it doesn't damage the hair like other OTC home hair color products previously used. I recommend this to all my friends!
Color is very good. Better than drugstore. What I like the best is that if it's not the right color for you, you can talk to them and they can change it for you till they get it to the color you want...
I am very pleased With the companies professional approach to haircolor. I have been happy with the results although I do find it doesn't always cover all the gray roots.

I am quite pleased with how my hair feels and looks after using the color. Does not feel like colored treated hair. Product is very gentle on my hair and has a very pleasant smell. The color does need to be readjusted, too much gold/red tones. Overall I am very happy with the product.
If you only do one color or gray coverage this is the way to go. I'm very happy with the quality of the color and saving a lot of money in the process.
I was skeptical at first, have used home hair coloring for over 10 years and this by far is the best color that looks totally natural, I am a believer and will continue to use. The first time was a welcome surprise at how natural looking the color was, the second time was a wonderful experience - beautiful natural looking color yet AGAIN! Love it 4ever!

Based off of the initial color assessment, the color created for me was a very close match to my natural color. It allowed me to cover the gray giving them a golden highlighted look. Love the customization.

I love the Esalon products. I never get time to go to a salon and love the tailormade colour which was spot on first time. My hair looks really shiny and healthy too. I buy the shampoo and conditioner to prolonge the healthy look as long as possible. The instructions, two pairs of gloves and nicely laid out box set make it feel like a real treat. I think it's great.

I've used esalon now for three colorings. I've adjusted each time, but only because I wanted a change. The product is great. I love the custom instructions any time you make a change and the colorists do a fantastic job at formulating the color.
I used for Root touchup to cover gray. Be sure to inform them if your gray is hard to cover. Works better than my old brand, covers well does not rub off. Does not have a bad scent. Great products
I have been going to the salon to cover new growth every 3 weeks for over 3 years until I found eSalon. Their perfect color match is better than what I was paying hundreds for. Their color stays on longer than what I have been paying hundreds for. Since I have watched the application process so many times and most have you can do this and you will love the end results not to mention the hundreds of dollars you will save. I can not speak for highlights low lights etc but I can speak on grey coverage for new growth and you will not regret switching. I Love eSalon 1000 percent!!!
Instructions were easy to follow, all of the tools were provided, what more could you ask for. It's difficult to find color that works on stubborn grays but this comes pretty close. I still had one section where grays appeared after the first wash, with the shampoo provided, but overall I would recommend this product.
The colorist Danielle ended up picking my color becuase I was initially confused as to what color I wanted or thought I needed. She communicated with me and ended up picking a color that really blended with my current hair color and highlights. I initially thought the color would make my roots too brown or too dark because I have highlights in my hair but it blended perfectly and covered my gray! There is even some golden color in the root area as well which surprised me and that's why I really think it blended perfectly.
Ok....tried it because it kept coming up on my social media...I had be drugstore root covering for years....it wasn't covering good and skipping places....so I tried it ....IT IS FABULOUS. ..the coverage is great! And the application was easy..... THE COLOR MATCH IS FANTASTIC!!!!
