This shampoo along with its companion conditioner is a lifesaver. I don't have to deal with dryness and don't have to worry so much about color fade. Good job esalon!
I recently changed my color from light ash blonde to a medium ash blonde as the light wasn't covering my resistant grey too well. The medium ash blonde covered well and I'm pleased with the results. My hair never feels dry after using eSalon clolor.

I'll admit I was skeptical at first, but I was really thrilled with how perfect the match was to my color, when all I needed was a root touch up. At the salon, the roots always seemed to be a shade darker than the rest of my color. Not so with Custom Hair Color, it really was perfect !

So this is the second time I’ve used eSalon, I must say it’s amazing! My hair doesn’t smell like hair dye and it looks salon quality and I did it all this morning before my kids woke up! As a mom I don’t have the time to sit in a salon chair for three hours and spend $200 to get it done! This is the best! I don’t think I’ll ever have to go back to a salon for coloring again!
I’ve been using esalon for a couple years now and I’m hooked. I have to color my roots every 4 weeks, and this is the only at home color that continues to shine and doesn’t damage my hair. Other “box” hair color always ended up looking different each time, same color with different final results. Not with esalon! Color remains consistent and vibrant and leaves my hair feeling healthy.

I do my roots and then finger comb ( with gloves) through all during the last few minutes to blend it all. Great gray coverage and I don't have that "just colored" look. Stylist are very responsive to adjustment requests. Very happy with this product and all the contents in the package

I wasn’t sure at all about trying this, but after a recommendation from a friend I thought I’d give it a go! So glad I did - shiny, healthy natural colour that covers grays and lasts! Everything I hoped it would be and a bit more!
So I tried this color after seeing the promo offer. I figured, for $20 I can try something new since that's about what I spend on drugstore hair color. The box arrived quickly and much to my delight, contained TWO bottles of color and processor. I usually have to buy extra because I have long, thick hair. It also had two different colors, which I learned is because roots need different treatment than ends (never knew that!). The process was simple and the directions were very clear. The kit has some cute extras, like a coloring brush, stain guard and stain remover in addition to the usual gloves, shampoo and conditioning treatment. I had already used petroleum jelly around my hairline to protect against staining so I'll save the one in the box for next time! The process was nearly identical to store brands. The chemical smell was definitely harsher, it smelled like a salon, but it wasn't impossible to deal with. The only difference I noticed was in removing the color- it didn't rinse easily at all! At first I thought I was in trouble because I left it in longer than the directions, and I got SUPER nervous when the shampoo from the kit didn't seem to work. My hair was like glue until I used a huge squirt of my own color-guard shampoo. Maybe because I have so much hair, but it was a relief when the normal texture of my hair returned! Conditioning treatment was excellent- no need for extra. And the result? SPECTACULAR! My midnight black is super shiny, soft, even and gorgeous! Not a single grey peeping through! Highly recommended, salon quality results!!

I also ordered shampoo/conditioner with first order but found it made my hair greasy... I cannot comment on any of the others as I went back to my regular shampoo/conditioner that I know works for me.
I have had 3 treatments so far and each is as FABULOUS as the First! I use a Red Copper color along with a LOVE IT (2x weekly) color refresher, the color remains Bright And Brilliant until the next coloring. I LOVE MY Color!! I'm a natural redhead but as you age....cough, your red fades. I have been doing this at home for three years now and totally love the outcome each time. When I need to darken or lighten a bit, I just let my colorist know and it's modified. Even my hairstylist didn't know I was doing my own hair.
Totally loved this new color, it is exactly what I was looking for. I still have some pesky "whities" that remain resistant, but with practice, it's gotten better.

It turned out better than I thought it would. I have been coloring my hair myself for years by mixing two creme colors, then highlighting. This color had dimension to it. I hope the second time is as successful
The custom color worked great, I still have my summer hair color and it covered my grey roots! As my hair always gets a lot of summer sun so it gets lighter. This is the first time I've had consistent color self applying at home. Store kits ( when I could find the same brand and color code) never looked the same from application to application; it was very apparent I had colored my hair. The color would always be too dark and then would fade out. With eSalon color, there is no off color after using. My hair looks natural and consistent from one application to the next; looks like my natural hair color. I love my warm brown with golden highlights. The color stays true until the next application. I also like getting 2 sets of gloves and the shampoo and conditioner with each eSalon delivery.
I was hesitant about how good this was going to be and honestly it has surpassed my expectations by so much more. The color was so rich and vibrant. The packets of shampoo and conditioner smell amazing. There ended up being a lot more color left over and my hair was already drenched so that was comforting because past times I've gotten my hair professionally done they've always had to go to mix more. Anyways, the color was absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to keep using this service.

I was skeptical; I have a good bit of gray now and I had tried boxed colors and they did not cover it properly. I was also tired of paying a high price for monthly root color application at a salon but wanted good color and good results. I decided why not at least give eSalon color a try? SO happy I did. The color is rich and coverage is great. The process is clearly spelled out and a simple thing like including two pairs of disposable gloves makes it that much easier. I had been going to a local higher-end salon due to their renown brand of color but my hair was getting very dry and the color was somewhat dull - eSalon's color is rich, there is minute multi-tones of the color which makes it look vibrant. My hair remains healthy, shiny and soft to the touch. I am very pleased.

You can go in and change the shipping dates as often as you like, give directions each time on color mixing preference, and they respond everytime... Heard about esalon from a friend and decided to give it a go! The process was easy and I got a response from a stylist pretty quick explaining the color I chose was a few shades darker than my current color and suggested that I try a color that was only one shade darker just in case I wanted to go lighter. I took the advice and am glad I did, not because I don't like dark hair but because I ended up loving the color they sent! I've told some friends about esalon and even more after they noticed and liked my hair. So far I'm happy with this product!
