Ends and rootsEvery other month you should receive a free ends refresher. As I need it every month I am being charged every month instead of receiving a free one every other. The colour fades to quickly to not require and ends application. My box this month said my ends refresher was free however i was charged. Not happyThe only thing that was nice, was the color was prepped. I didn't get complements about the shine. From my experience it's needing to order more products to keep the grey away when I want to be able to use product and it keeps grey away longer. I don't want to keep apply product especially after a few weeks. The other half of the problem is I had an order that I was able to get a full refund back on that I returned. Another order was sent when I tried to cancel and I couldn't get my full refund when I did previously try to cancel before shipped. I don't like the automatic sent, technically due to financial budgeting. The talk about eSalon which is why I tried it, was because it keeps greys away longer. It was obviously not looked at or read, evident by what you sent. I returned the product and your not even returning my money so I can give it another chance. Can never reach anyone to talk cause there's no phone number@Funny thing is I canceled everything about 2 months ago!! I was actually able to talk to a person wanting to know why I canceled!!! But I couldn't reach anyone when I had questions....And I just got charged 46.00 for the very same products that I canceled!!! And once again I can't reach anyone to get my money back... and that's my Christmas money you took from my kids!!! The thing is I really loved the products, but you constantly raised the prices, and sent me products that I didn't order, but I was charged for them!! Always the wrong colorI have been trying this hair color for a year now and each time it never turns out how it should. I have had it adjusted to darkest brown mahogany and it still turns out a light/medium brown with a hint of light red and my roots turn out bright orange red. Gray roots not covered AT ALLContacted my stylist two days after coloring with pictures of my gray roots. They "reformulated" my color for the next shipment...and here I am with grays until that shipment in 6 weeks. Useless. I had to spend Thanksgiving with my gray roots for all the family pictures. And I'll get my next shipment right after Christmas, fabulous. If this was an actual salon I wouldn't have left with my hair looking like it does, they would have fixed it. Ruined my hairCarefully sent pics, concerns and specifics of what I wanted to achieve. I should have known when they did t even look at my pic that I sent (and asked me to send one) that it was not the personalized experience they claim. BUYER BEWARE - TOOK 2 MONTHS TO ARRIVE TO AUSTRALIA FROM THE USIf you are in in Australia and you are prepared to wait for possibly 2 months like I did, I recommend you just save your money and go to a hairdresser or buy a box kit from the pharmacy. I searched for 'online hair colour companies in Australia' and found this company. The search results and the website says it's Australian but its's from the USA. Realised this after purchasing. Biggest SCAM ever. I am yet to try the products as they currently sit in a postage depot in Melbourne after landing in Sydney 4 weeks ago. Change your carrier eSalon unless you want more unhappy Australian customers!!! Especially if you want people to have a subscription with a precise time schedule. Covid slow shipping delays cant be the excuse you hide behind...Nike sent me 3 separate orders from Eastern Europe with still time to spare in the time it's taken for my parcel to arrive from eSalon. Formula changed, color doesn’t last, darkerI’m very disappointed & feel like the 2 negative reviews I just read say it all. Why pay for a color that no longer lasts & this last batch was a different, darker grayish shade than my previous muted subtle medium light blonde with a bit of gold. I see colorists worked with the two whose reviews are shown; I would assume I would get a one time free color sample bottle to be sure you corrected it to the longer lasting medium color range. I actually had to sprinkle with peroxide after I applied the color to not have a muddy mid gray with tinge of blonde that showed so dark on application. Not liking my rootsThe overall color was pretty decent. It is a nice red color, however my roots are not a good color. Using the root color did not cover the grays and came out almost pink and there is definitely a difference between my roots and the rest of my hair. not at all what i asked forI have been hesitating to use my color because it took esalon FOREVER to get my color right, i took part blame for not asking for exactly what i wanted at first but after 5 or 6 tries they finally nailed it, i was so happy. then the next time i tried to order they tell me i have to "update my profile" and start all over because they changed their formulas, well. here we are right back at square ONE with color i HATE. Love esalon but something changedI'm super sad in the color last few times. Something is definitely different with formula. It's not nearly as rich in color and it's washing out. Colour setThought I would give this another go, I used esalon before and my colour was always fine. Then last year I got my colour which left my roots lighter than they already were, as alot of grey coverage. So I've been growing my hair out to then order the semi permanent dye to put it on and its now not covered my grey at all. So disappointed I contacted them but no help at all this time, basically i closed my account down. Far to expensive for then to be told after buying and using that there is no guarantee of full grey coverage with the semi ( I was not told this at time of order ) my hair is basically the same only my roots are lighter and my ends with the root ends refresher is darker yet again. Wrong colorI changed my color to darkest brown because my hair was almost black at this point. I wanted to just touch up my roots. What Happened??I have always had a lovely, natural red colour of hair and so when it started to change colours I searched high and low to find something that was as close a match as possible to my original colour. Enter eSalon. I loved their dyes and couldn't believe how long the colour would last. But it seems to me that the last 2 or 3 orders (ever since they changed their formula) don't even cover the grey to start with anymore, and it certainly doesn't last like it used to. Didn’t cover greys.I actually left this on longer than needed because I was in the middle of a work situation and when I finally rinsed it out it didn’t cover any of the gray around my hairline. Very UpsetI am really upset with my first kit it has ruined my hair colour. I went through the process selecting images that best matched but also provide 3 personal photos of my current hair which I just needed root touch up to match. I Now have a awful, auburn( almost brown root) and VERY red ends. At no stage did I say I wanted a red hair tone. I wanted to keep my very copper/ginger hair which I loved. I now have no idea how I am going to correct this without excessive damage to my hair and expense at salons. I have added 3 after photos since using your kit and you can see how badly it has changed my hair from what it was. Not satisfiedI’ve used Esalon for years. Was always satisfied until last 2 colorings . Turned my hair on top orange color. I messaged Esalon and was told a colorist would call me. Nobody ever called. Esalon sent me a third color of the same for free that has not been adjusted. I’m cancelling my subscription. Does not cover gray well on Asian hair textureUnfortunately, I had to cancel because the product did not really cover my gray, and even after the colorists tried to adjust for a second try it was still not effective. Waste of moneyI tried eSalon's products for my naturally blonde hair. Since it's supposed to be "made for me " I didn't think that I'd have any problems. Well much to my dismay instead of being blonde I had dark brown hair. I absolutely would NOT recommend this product. It's a total waste of money. I had to go purchase another color at beauty supply to turn my hair back to blonde. IM VERY UNHAPPY WITH ESALON. When I called customer service they didn't offer me a refund...nothing. Color coverageThis was my first time coloring me hair without using a “box dye.” I was really excited about the process. I followed every direction. The color did not do anything to my roots. It’s still my faded brown with a hard transition into the copper red tone. Since I have a lot of hair I even left the color on for an additional 8 minutes for each step. Gray coverage is badI have 2 spots, one on each side along face above ears that NEVER colored. Even did those areas first and left on 45 min. I have had color reformatted and still to no avail. Blue black instead of vibrant brown.What a disappointment!! Two children and their innocent comments made it clear as day when they saw me two weekends in a row, the second with the "adjusted colour" and said: "What happened to your hair? It's black blue!" I've attached photos for the colourists at eSalon of my vibrant brown hair on Halloween compared to 9 days and two washes later. I mentioned the previous colour was spot on but faded to yellow tones. Pros and ConsPros: Packaging of products were organized to follow step-by-step instructions. It was worth adding Color Tools because they made it easier to apply color. Color matched what was shown online. My favorite aspect of choosing coloring was Color Match tool because it gave several selections to choose from. It could be improved by updating system so users could utilize uploaded pictures in sampling all colors. Clients should be able to select colors they want. eSalon could provide instructions in best way to lighten or darken hair, if needed. Way too darkI had tried the permanent color, which was ok, the ammonia smell was very strong to me, so I then ordered the ammonia free color, demi perm, and requested a little lighter and brighter color, but it turned out much darker than I wanted, and was darker than the first color! I left it in for about 10 minutes, so maybe it was too long, but pretty unhappy with it, very dark and not brighter at all. I'll stick with Madison Reed, maybe will try one more time for the demi permanent but not sure if I'm willing to try a third time. Not what I want/needHi I have used the October colour , thanks. It looks OK but hasn't really covered the roots/my few greys. I applied as per instructions... but it seems to have darkened my mids/ends..I am now wondering if I should use a permanent colour on my roots to match my natural colour to cover greys...then I would like a lighter colour through mid and ends to keep the lighter natural feel to the ends. Worst gray coverage ever !I have been coloring my own hair for 20 years and this is by far the worst haircolor I have ever used. I have friends who swear by E salon but for me it just didn’t work out. The hair color they sent me was orange , I look like orangutan. I was actually embarrassed because the hair color was so flat and dull and artificial looking. E salon did try to correct the color but the second color they sent was even worse than the first. Product is not what it used to beThis last color set actually lightened my hair and was nowhere near my natural color. I now have two tone hair which is horrible. I’ve had to buy hair color from the grocery store to cover the highlighted parts. The last three color sets have not given the quality color as in past years so I don’t know what’s happened to the quality of this product. The worst part, and the reason for canceling my membership, was when I called to ask if there was a mistake in sending me the wrong hair color and report what the product did to my hair, the colorist blamed my hair for the color turning out wrong. Still can't cover grays effectively but love the colorMy custom color was adjusted to cover grays better, so the processing time went from 20 to 40 minutes. I had also adjusted the color to include more dark brown and reds. Love the new adjusted color, but even after 40+ minutes of processing time, of which I applied the color to my hairline and stubborn sideburn areas first, the color started to fade after day 2. Wanted to love.I never received the product. I thought it might be because I wrote worrying my stylist complaining about color. I received other beauty subscriptions so I know my mail person knows. Wrong colour and unhelpful.The colour I have been sent is terrible and is nothing like what I requested and now the colourist is telling me the colour cannot be fixed. I thought this service would save me the time and effort of going to a hairdresser but instead they have completely ruined my hair and now I look like a washed out goth girl. Didn’t work for meI have dark brown/black hair, and the new color did not show. My hair looks the same, there is no shine, or better feeling texture. The ladies in the photos look like they had a glamorous hair color result, but mine still looked dull. This was my 3rd time trying eSalon hair color, but this time handfuls of hair were falling out during the washing out step. Someone from eSalon said I may have had an allergic reaction, but I have never been allergic to hair coloring products before. Not the color I wanted and no gray coverage!I have been using your color for a long time. Last time, I said it was too dark and wanted to lighten it but keep violet highlights. Not what is used to beI liked esalon when I started but something has changed, My color barely lasts two weeks. In addition, I am getting really annoying red undertones after two weeks.
