I am trying to contact someone here to ask if I can use a 20 volume instead of the 15 volume? The last color I was given had 20 volume and not sure why but the 2nd color that I adjusted was 15 volume. Love the color but I need my grays to be colored.
I’ve been dying my hair myself on and off 20 years. The packaging is great but there was more to it then I was expecting. I’m not a neat person and there was a lot of product and it was everywhere in the bathroom. Way more than when I buy a normal high street colour.
Wanting to have red tones I panicked that it would be a fake red. But I have to say I am so surprised at how perfect the colour is as to what I wanted ( which wasn’t easy
To get without looking a bit fake and it doesn’t) it was worth all the mess and now I know for next time to plan the treatment a bit better. I would 100% buy this product again.
I am a return customer. stopped my autoship 2 yrs ago and am realizing that i should have kept it going as it blended so well with my hair and the detailed instructions are great--im keeping my autoship this time-!

When I first applied the perm colour it looked very dark and I did not leave it on for the prescribed 35 minutes. I did not achieve the result I wanted but that was due to my fears that the colour was too dark for my greys but it was not a disaster. Perhaps I should try the semi permanent colour to be confident of the colour first.
I love the texture of my hair after I color it, the shampoo and conditioner are really good. I like the color as it’s a little lighter than what I used to use before trying e salon . I have to order every couple of weeks because it takes way too long for me to receive the color when I’m due again. I will keep trying the next couple of times to see if there’s a better coverage. I even leave it on longer but I find some spots are just a little bit lighter. Overall I’m happy with the color
The color would've been great had I not ordered one with more red than brown as my natural hair is between a medium and dark brown, but once I'm in the sun or even bright office lighting, then the red is plain to see. This was a little too much red for me, but again that's my fault, not the colorist.
I am shocked. Prior to COVID I was spending embarrassing amounts every six weeks on upkeep with for my long blonde hair. When the pandemic hit I was forced to do it myself and while it was ok for a few weeks the color didn’t keep and it just looked dull.
That said, I realized I could color my hair myself and save hundreds of dollars a year. I saw esalon in allure and read all the amazing reviews and sent in my photo and decided to go for it.
I received light blonde, the instructions are super easy - you tape them up to your mirror with the sticker provided for easy reference.
You get two pairs of high quality non-latex gloves and a decent quality brush. I poured the color into a bowl (not provided) and brushed it on. I have thick hair that’s below my shoulders and had product left over after a root application.
I left it on 30 min and rinsed as directed. When dried the color was perfect. Not brassy or too yellow - a perfect golden blonde that matched the lengths of my hair exactly.
With the amount I was spending on boxed color it worked out to costing less (I require two boxes of the drugstore stuff) and the results are on par with the salon. I also bought a weekly treatment (the name escapes me but it’s a pink bottle) which is fabulous.
I recommend this 100%. I am a covert for life. Thank you so much.
The colour was a bit darker than I wanted but it did change in a a few days to a bit lighter , it has held its colour and felt a much better dye than a shop bought one ,
I liked everything about this set .. Everything in it to colour hair properly..My only thing wrong for me is the colour wasn't light enough.. I get a lighter colour with a box set from a pharmacy

please recommend a product that will repair my hair ruined by the light set. I currently have lost confidence in your other products and also in your service since you have not refunded me for the devastating impacts of the light set.
I have been disappointed lately on my color. First after 8 days I have notice gray coming through, that's way to early. Second there just isn't any shine after the second wash. I know my order is coming up in Dec. but not sure if I will continue.

Love the products. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last long - color fades.
I’ve been using it for 7-years but sadly, it no longer covers my grays.
I was hoping the modification i recently requested to remove any red/copper tones to the Dark Brown base color I've been using would be darker, but it comes out as medium brown & still seems to have a bit of a red tint.
It may be the lighting, idk But it's still not as dark as I'd like it to be.
I an looking for a chocolate brown...which I thought was pretty dark. Any tips here?

Placed an order on the 29th of September and today its 14th October still haven't received it and I've sent two messages to esalon and still haven't heard back from them
I've been a customer over a year now I order every 3 weeks as I'm based in Ireland seems to he taking longer every time it's getting annoying now waiting .
after trying two different colors; one was too light and red, one was too dark and black, this hit the jackpot. I love it. May add highlights in the future but right now I just want to do this.

Found out about this company because of the pandemic & love the company, their Products s & customer service… my only complaint, it seems like I need more color for my roots but not enough to buy two kits. They really should make an option to buy a larger size, when I asked they told me to buy two. That’s wasteful,

I was disappointed that the colour came out so dark...I wonder was it because brown was added to the mix....I did use the copper Tint that I also purchased and I loved the colour it gave me...
I will message my colourist and discuss making up another colour as I believe in this process and do love how soft it left my hair. I believe I just didn't explain my colour needs very clearly from the beginning perhaps.
I have been trying to have a color that sticks to my hair for years now, all of the products I have used from the stores color my grays real bright and the rest of the hair stays dark making it a huge contrast that I have to color it back to dark. I used to wear my hair warm red and I loved it then! but then I had it dyed brown once and could never regain my usual red hair. I intent to go lighter than this, but I was afraid I would have the same situation I´ve always have, to my surprise redish color came back (I wish I had chose lighter red) it is a dark auburn, but there is something to start I guess! I really liked it. The only thing I saw is that you send very small amount of the conditioner, and the ends are very dry, it really needs a bit more. I wonder if I can go lighter next time and if will work. I will let you know.

I loved the color but it did not cover the gray at the roots completely. I even left it on and extra 5 min. It had been only 6 weeks since my last color so the gray wasn't that bad. Any suggestions on what I could have done differently?

This hair dye is the best I have ever come across - even compared to salons. I dye my hair a shade of bright copper that's always been difficult to achieve. After many disappointing experiences at the hairdressers - where the colour was expensive, patchy, took hours and often came out a really unflattering pillarbox red - I moved on to off-the-shelf box dye. After just two rounds, my hair was in awful condition. That's when I found eSalon, and I'm so glad I did. After a couple of tweaks to get the shade just right, I have found my dream colour. It's really easy and satisfying to apply, the colour lasts for ages, and I get so many compliments. Best of all, it leaves my hair in really good condition. I'm over the moon that I found this dye - thank you so much! And the customer service has been consistently excellent. You have found a customer for life in me!
Although not the exact tone I was hoping for the overall coverage and ease of instruction was great. Will definitely continue with my orders and make adjustments to the tone for the next one

I liked everything about the color except it was a little too dark - it looked black when it was all done - I'd opt for a lighter shade of brown so there's no confusion to the actual color..... Thanks.
At first it was a tad bit dark but then after the 2nd day, it lightened up. Then also I got the golden highlights along with my brown hair color AND it’s just beautiful and sexy looking.

I'm still waiting for a response from my personal stylist from my recent color change request. I still can't see my next color purchase coming up in 5 days that I will be charged for... As far as my last color on July 5th, I asked for the red additive to be taken out and was told you guys didn't offer that. How is it fully costumizable color if I can't get a color taken out? I don't think what I am asking for is unacceptable or unachievable. I would like brilliant medium COPPER hair. My hair is very red with touches of copper. I have shown you guys pictures, asked for suggestions to get it close to the copper I am looking for... and have been pretty much told it can't happen. I have 15 years in this business, if my hair is red it needs GOLD to make it copper because red plus yellow equals orange. So copper or double copper with a splash of medium brown and NO RED additive would work. Heck... if you just take out the red from my color and add a GOLD additive to my color that might work. And as far as application, look guys... if I have previously blonde hair, my ends fade... sending me an ends refresher that's copper and red will give me two very different hair colors from root to tip. So what I did is applied my root color to my roots first...waited 15 minutes and then pulled through the ends. I then used your technique in the shower as suggested. Rinsed and shampooed my hair. Then I dried and applied the "ends refresher" as a balayage on my hair. This gave me my current results which I'm not mad about...it's just not copper enough. It's red and red fades to pink... which isn't what I want at all. So please...someone...give me copper hair. Thank you.

I always liked the color but it wasn't as easy to apply as I had hoped-for. That being said. I still used it. Now I have let my hair return to its natural color. It was different from what I expected but I like it. If I decide to color again I will lat you know!
I followed the instructions and somehow I still ended up with color hair patches. It’s also a little redder than expected. I was aiming for golden copper. I would say this is nice if you know how to color your hair at home from the get go.

Love your product,but thought I would get two treatments in every order. I tried the 10.00 offer and was hooked by the luxurious hair color I was able to achieve. I told my friends. Still waiting to receive. Tracking continues to back up delivery...while my parcel travels around the state. Meanwhile my gray roots are very obvious and I have an event tonite. I emailed esalon and have heard nothing. Please do not use USPS in future. Almost 2 weeks in transit ?

Having used esalon for the last 7 years and been very pleased with the results
...it seems the formula may have changed. Reading other reviews with the same problem, I realised that it could explain why my hair, after colouring, has gone very dark...not what I expected as is the same colour Ive had for ages.
I love the color but only 1 issue i had and I hope you can assist. When I washed it bleed ouy a lot of the color out plus I have blonde bangs and wash with super cold water but still made my blonde pinkish. Any advise? It also did the same to my gf hair that had blonde tips/ends.

I’ve been with you since 2015, and have recently asked to have less brown in my color, and add more purple pearl or Mahogany. Neither times has my color come to me correctly, so I write another note to my colorist in hopes they will get it right on the next shipment. This has been going on for 6 months and I’m ready to quit. All I would like is a mahogany coloring that will cover my gray. If the color I am selecting won’t work with grey then let me know. If the color I want isn’t available in your company, then let me know. If my hair will turn red when I go to use the mahogany,,,,let me know. I just want some sort of communication telling me you can or can’t do this color, that’s all. I look forward to your reply!

Color is very natural. However it started out at the ordered color, medium golden copper brown but faded within 2 weeks to a honey light brown on my partly white partly brown hair. This has been my consistent problem with Esalon. I wash my hair every 2-3 days with color safe shampoo and wear a hat when in the sun.

How can I adjust my color? I would like more copper and less brown. This first time it was a little dark. I do like the product, and the way my hair feels after coloring. Any way to cut back on the packaging to be more eco friendly?

This is my first time using esalon and I love the color. It's exactly what I wanted! The only thing is it seems to wash out a little bit every time I wash my hair. Not sure why. Love the color though. Just wish it lasted longer.

However, my greys/whites are tough. They will slightly color then after a few washes they are back to their own color. I would like to have more of a cinnamon tint/color.

They did great by what they are able to do according to the business but it wasn't quite what I was expecting...they have EXCELLENT customer service skills and was blown away by that...would've gotten 10 stars if that could be possible and if they were able to achieve my ultimate goal with my hair color I want. They did great otherwise.

There’s got to be an in between. I used light brown and it came out almost like a strawberry dark blonde. I used the medium brown and it came out dark brown.

This was the first time I did the permanent color, and was really nervous. The ends seem a bit lighter still, but overall, I really like the shade and how natural it looks.

I loved the color although I will go lighter next time. Also, did not cover my white/grey hair around my face even though I put it there first. Still okay with it though.

After reading other reviews, I agree. Something is different, my color is not holding. I also noticed that the coloring does not have its full strength and when I rinse my Greys are lightly colored. I’ve been a customer for years and something is definitely different. Did you change the formulas?

I like the color . I'm trying to stay away from brassiness because my hair pulls alot of red when dying. This is a great medium brown color with lots of demension. You can tell it's a quality product.
The only complaint I have is it did not cover all my grays ..the baby gray's in front and some on top. I'm about 30@% gray; so I don't have alot. I may need to order again to redo it? I left it on for 47 minutes, I didn't want it to get super dark.

I have been an e-salon customer since 2014 and I love my color. Unfortunately, I have to agree with other reviewers. The quality of the product seems to have gone down. The color is washing out too quickly. I used to have coverage for at least 2-3 months and now it is down to one month. E-salon please fix this.
