L’Oréal quit making my favorite hair and I hated the color I was using. Years ago I looked at eSalon did not make a color light enough for me. I decided to try again. What a great idea as I received the perfect color. I am a very happy camper with my new light color and the gray coverage is perfect.

Just want to say how happy i am with my custom colour! Spent years trying to find the perfect shade of ginger without being florescent copper or plain red. I am so pleased with the outcome but also the kit that comes is amazing! Even has a stain preventer aswell as a stain remover to avoid those awful dye patches on skin. Esalon is now my go to!

I messaged my colorist a few times before getting the color just right, and it has been so easy to touch up my greys. I cant even imagine how much money it has saved me. I can honestly say I was spending almost $1000 a year at one point to get my hair done. I have really been enjoying my "natural" hair these days and the color lasts quite a while. I dont need to reapply until it grows out. 10/10 for sure. Also I want to add that it is so easy to make changes to your color or shipment dates. I really appreciate that in this company and it makes me remain a loyal customer!

It was taken me a few changes to get the colour that’s right for me, but ESalon made the adjustments, as I asked, and now it’s perfect, it doesn’t look like my hair is dyed, it’s also very shiny. I love it
I love this color ! It is very natural . I use ammonia free because I have bad skin allergies. I’ve used it several times now and my only complaint is it doesn’t give enough grey coverage . I still have a lot of visible grey around my crown upon completing the dye kit. I will definitely try this color in the permanent option!

After paying my professional hair stylist to match my greying roots to my natural hair a fortune only to have her misplace my personal color "recipe" and then turn my beautiful golden copper hair to kool-aid colored roots I was extremely nervous trying e salon. I actually cried while blow drying my hair because my roots actually match my natural color. I'm a massive fan!

I ordered the custom root touch up kit a while ago and kind of put off trying it because I thought with all the items the kit included, that it would take time to learn. I am so impressed. Not only was it easy to understand, but I usually have to use 2 boxes of the Clairol or other root touch up boxed brands ( I have alot of hair and my gray roots come back fast ), but eSalon included more than enough to cover all over! The brush was wide and worked great. I loved the great quality of the gloves and was happy to have 2 pairs so I could use a clean one for the shower rinse. The protective cream you put around your face to protect your skin from rogue color worked amazingly (will remember to put it on my ears next time too). The color turned out so perfect, was exactly what I wanted and covered my grays. I will never go back to the other brands again (they seem too cheap in quality now). It may seem like a bit of a higher price, but it comes out about the same since I was using 2 boxes of the other brands and this kit contains so much more and such a higher quality. Highly recommend it. Am so impressed with the root color kit that I might just have the confidence to try the balayage highlighting kit so I can go even longer between salon visits.

I’ve used boxed color from the store and that left my hair damaged. For awhile after that, I was having my hair done in a salon and it looked great but it was definitely breaking the bank. Then I found esalon. I cannot love this color enough. It leaves my hair so soft and shiny and HEALTHY. This is the holy grail of hair color, folks! I’m a customer for life.

I was hesitant in buying an online hair color. I have had such a hard time with my gray hair coming through color in the past.
I am two weeks in and NO GRAYS! There has no been a single gray hair yet. The color has held and it looks amazing! I get compliments every place I go. I had to go to the ER and, while there, FIVE people commented on the color and how natural it looked after I told them it wasn't my natural hair color!
I have long hair and the amount of color was perfect! I gave five stars because that is as high as it goes, but it is even beyond that!

The custom colour set arrives beautifully packaged. Inside, you have everything you need to colour your hair, including a sachet each of shampoo and conditioner.
The colour is perfect - it’s vibrant, luxurious, and if, like me, you have greys it covers them completely.
Having coloured my hair with my first box of e-Salon colour, I was unsure about the shade; I emailed one of the colourists and my next box will contain a ‘tweaked’ colour which, I’m sure, will be even better!
I highly recommend e-Salon to you, whether it’s your first-time colouring at home or whether, like me, you’ve been home-colouring for nearly 50 years.
So easy to use. Probably easier using it after the tint rinse as hair is towel dry. Went on really well, covered in a uniform colour which I was worried about as naturally dark brown but years of highlights. 100% sure the tint rinse helped give me a uniformed colour. Will definitely not be returning to sitting for hours for highlights. All over colour as and when I need it the natural highlights will provide me with the difference.

I was advised to use a demi-permanent to start because my short hair was very bleached. I needed to lay in color in order to have a base to go darker. I love the golden dark blonde shade. Can't wait to begin my permanent color

I have grays that I have had a hard time covering and this was fully covered and has lasted several weeks. Also the color matched the picture I showed. This color was absolutely perfect!! It came out almost identical to the inspo picture I sent through. I will most likely add a highlight kit the order in July to keep my ends light and add extra dimension for the summer.

Before using this product I would have a lot of hair in the shower drain after dying my hair. No hair in the shower after using this product! Love it!

So impressed with the rich colour of my hair, how my hair feels is very important to me too, salon quality shine and feels so silky, easy to use, a thick consistency with minimum mess, completely covered my stubborn greys thank you esalon.
For decades, I Goldwell and noticed that my hair was getting more brittle and dry. Using this coloring has been far more nourishing and the color stays more brilliant, longer, and as a redhead, I am pleased!

It is very easy to use the eSalon products. I had hand surgery and in a cast right now so my husband had to help. The first time around we actually missed some places. All in all he did a pretty good job. I love the fact that my hair is silky after washing and conditioning..

My hair is steel grey, with no warm tones. I didn't want to go back to brown, as it invariably grows out orange. I settled on a soft black which I apply with a wide tooth comb, leave it on for just 10 minutes and follow up with high gloss conditioner for grey hair. It looks natural, my curls are defined and I am getting rave reviews. I have short hair and one order goes a long way. I'm a happy customer.!

I was going from grown out highlights to cool dark brown, so I was sent a tint rinse to “fill” my hair that was very red which scared me alittle lol but it turned out great! At first I was like oh my god it’s so dark!!! But I love it now. My head also did not get irritated at all. This is a million times better than box dye in my opinion. I think that extra tint rinse step really helped so my hair has dimension and the color is beautiful.

Love love love! It's like salon care, look, ease without the pricey struggles of finding the right salon, booking an appointment, and keeping appointment. I get my BF to help but also the esalon team gives you tips of the trade in how to get those hard to reach places by yourself! Love the packaging, the tools, and the formulated color.......spot on! I smell esalon consistency for me!

They absolutely nailed it with the color. Easy to apply, I used a bowl and brush. I didn't have enough product to completely cover my ends, but they said they'll send more free next time. Awesome customer service!

I have used eSalon for several years. It is one of the best color products I've ever used. And so easy to adjust the color with the colorist if desired. It is easy to use and gives very natural looking color. Best of all it doesn't have a bad scent like so many color products and it is not messy.

I was sceptical after reading reviews before buying these products as the reviews were so good I thought they were made up! Well I now know that’s highly unlikely as now I have used the products twice, I myself rate these products very highly, together with the amazing fast and informative personal support from eSalon staff. Brilliant.
Update: I first ordered this in January 21, have used it since and have adjusted the colour a few times. I used my new colour yesterday and still feel as strongly nearly a year and a half later. I love these products, the extras you get in each pack - even two sets of good quality gloves - and the service and expertise is second to none. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Thank you eSalon 👏🏻🏆🥇
The hair color blended nicely with my natural hair so it hides my grey hair perfectly! Also, I love how it doesn't fade after a few washes! My hair is evenly colored and shiny! Not brittle and no grey spots anywhere. I will continue using this product and I don't mind is if it's a bit expensive compared to box color products, it is worth it! I will try in my next order one next shade up to give my hair a bit of color. I'm really excited now :)

Update 3: Spring 2022
I've been using Esalon color for awhile and they have adjusted my color for me to cover more gray and to soften the color and I LOVE IT. I have to say, I'm not going back to salon color. My stylist is amazing, but it saves me so much money to do it this way and I get compliments on my light auburn shade all the time. Thanks for the great service and changing with me as my color choices have evolved.
2021 Update 2:
The replacement color came pretty quickly. I really do like the color and their easy coloring method.
Update 1: WHOOPS! Wrong color!! I received my second order a bit late--I understand that it's crazy with the Coronavirus. But, I received the wrong color in the mail. Thank goodness they put our name on the color and poor K---- didn't get her black hair color and I didn't get my copper hair color. The person on the phone was nice when I called in to notify the company, but she only gave me a credit for the shipping after I specifically asked if I could receive credit. She also could not guarantee when I would get my color. It's guaranteed that I like my color. Wrong color!? this time and I'm unsatisfied. I was a customer before the stay at home order. I think it would have been prudent for the company to credit me for the entire purchase this time due to their error. I recommended ESalon on my FB page and I'm rethinking it. Guaranteed means 100% guaranteed. I hope they do something about this. Before this happened, I was delighted with my first order.
After my first order, I wrote this:
The directions were excellent and the color was amazing. With copper color, it can go horribly wrong and I was nervous for my first order, but the color couldn't be better--it's vibrant without looking brassy or fake. Thank you!
