I tried the other guy for years. I have paid WAY too much for a colorist. This is amazing. My hair does not feel heavy or weighted down. The color is PERFECT. Thoroughly impressed

I was very nervous my hair would be to dark, but it looks just as good as a salon color. I can’t tell a difference at all. The instructions were so easy to follow. I do have to point out that if you have fine thin hair like me then the color set will last you two seperate sessions. I just wanted to make sure I followed the directions and mixed everything as directed, but then I realized I could’ve saved some of the dye for my next session. I’ll def keep using this and say goodbye to a $230 bill at the salon for a simple basic color.

Finally - I got the colour I want and asked for. I was always walking out of salons with brassy yellow hair despite telling them I do not want yellow - I want ash. I finally got ask and I love it. No yellow brassy tones. No more salon for me.
I ordered the full set with ends refresher. I'm not a hairdresser and yes i did have to buy a. mirror on amazon made just for seeing the back of my hair to color it. I wasn't expecting results like this. I got exactly what i wanted and a lot cheaper than the salon. These days even the budget hair salon cost so much and this service is a lifesaver.

I find it hard to find demi-permanent golden copper colours that actually look natural and have been so pleasantly surprised that both my first and second colour turned out absolutely beautiful. The first attempt I started with a more strawberry blonde mix so if I don't like the tone it wouldn't be too bright. The tone was amazing. Second time I went brighter and absolutely love it. Best thing is that when you get started or switch colours you get a colour specific for your roots and for the ends. The colour for the roots is less bright which works so well because it makes the root growth much less obvious. Even as a medium blonde dying my hair golden copper, I can wait 8 weeks before I dye my hair again which is perfect for me because I don't want to have to do it every 4 or 6 weeks. Too much maintenance for me.
Towards the roots I notice that the colour is multifaceted which I love but I did purchase the highlight kit to try this time as well to get some more colour variation into the ends. I watched the instructions already and it's really clear on how to do it which makes me confident it will turn out great.
Additionally I just want to say that it's been an absolute pleasure calling the team for assistance as well. I find it so hard to get good customer service nowadays where someone actually listens to you, is friendly and answers your questions without running circles around it.

I had a lot of grey especially at the crown & temples with boxed color still throughout the length of my long hair. The kit came with everything and the instructions were very simple & easy to follow. My color looks very natural. I would like the roots to be a tiny bit darker but I've contacted the colorist & I've no doubt it will be the exact shade next time. eSalon is a tremendous value and they mixed the perfect shade of copper I'd hoped for. I was a bit sceptical at the beginning as I usually pick my colour physically but the mix came out really well. It looks really good and covers my roots perfectly. l also have a lot of grey hair and it covered it really well. Can't wait for my next set. Highly recommend it!! Cheaper and I could say even better than the salons sometimes. Plus you don't spend the time going there and waiting. Good value for money!

I had given up coloring my hair during the pandemic, so I had a LOT of growth to cover. I was thrilled to find such a rich, intense auburn-red that did a great job on my previously almost completely gray hair. It took 20 years off my appearance!
The kit came with everything I needed, the instructions were clear, and the process was simple. It was a third of the price of a salon color, with results that were even better.
This added some life back to my color in time for fall. I was feeling like I needed more intensity in my color as the autumn colors changed around me. This did it without making the changes too abrupt. Just right!

I'd been using a less flattering auburn color and wanted to go more brunette. This color corrected perfectly, leaving me with a depth that shines with red and gold highlights. Very much like my original hair color.
I've struggled with home dye for ages, being unable to afford salon prices it's the only way but it always looks tacky I guess (going for bright red)
I gave this a go, and I'm in love with my hair, it looks so nice and I feel like I've been to a salon! I struggle with reaction to hair dye too, and no reaction to this one, not even the usual itching when I apply it. Very happy!
A few orders ago - I noticed my color was much more blonde so I requested a change to darken a little. I am very pleased with the last order in November!

First time iv used this product, easy to use, just did roots colour great worked really well, the shampoo and conditioner made my hair soft and silky, would definitely recommend.
I have golden blonde hair and my custom color is perfect for me and it lasts. I only need to touch up my color about every two and a half to three months. At first the color recommended for me based on the picture I sent was a little dark, so I asked that it be lightened a little and my colorist did and now it is just right. I am so glad I found e-Salon.

I received my dark brown/copper/mahogany color, and I swear my colorist, Ariana G, is an absolute mind reader. Prior to using eSalon, I would either go to the salon or simply box dye, and have never had a color that looked "natural". This color not only looked like an actual human hair color, but came out shiny and healthy looking. God bless ya, eSalon and Ariana G, you have my continued business, and tons of recommendations!

My colorist clearly read my notes and absolutely nailed my color. I was terrified while applying that it was going to be way too dark. While it's a touch darker than I expected, it's 100% perfect - a rich copper red that is both bold and natural-looking, and incredibly flattering on my skin tone. I've been putting up with sub-par box color for too long; I just didn't know it. This is the best color job I've had including the hundreds (thousands?) I've spent at salons.
I was a little bit apprehensive going into this, but I called and talked to a color specialist. Sylvia gave me very good advice. I am so pleased with the outcome. My hair is silky and very shiny after coloring. I am a light blonde and sometimes it is hard to get shiny blonde. I am so glad I took the time to review the how-to videos. I am on an auto ship for every seven weeks, but I am thinking I will adjust it to every six weeks.

I have dark brown and a lot of gray hair this is the only product that cover my gray hair and I love it I use since 2016. And I change the color 4 time and they send me the correct color I ask ❤🥰
I like that the color set is delivered to your home and that you have your own colorist. I also love how it comes with everything that you need to color your hair.

I think that overall this is a fabulous service. For custom color and endless patience on the part of the colorists who actually read your comments/revisions and adjust per your instructions, you can’t beat the price. I live in CA and I love that I can reach a colorist at 730 am on a Saturday or Sunday. The packaging and convenience of 2 sets of gloves shows someone put thought into this service. And getting the box makes me feel like I’m un opening an expensive present. It’s that pretty. For these reasons I’d love to give esalon 5 stars. If I am honest though, I will say I’m not100% satisfied with the gray coverage. I have some stubborn grays in the front (most important area I’d like to cover lol) and this product does not successfully cover those gray hairs for more than a few days.

While it was on my hair i was scared it would be to dark. I washed it off and blew dried it... WOW DOUBLE WOW looks amazing !!! Better colouring than I've had in years and i was getting it done professionally. I need to learn how to do it better missed a few spots 😬🤔 ... But the colour itself is Absolutely Gorgeous!!

I love, love, love my new hair color, thank you for helping me with my "fixed' hair color. It was burgundy and when I tried a boxed color from the store it turned brown with harsh undertones of orange and copper. I ordered my first color to no avail It didn't turn out like I thought, so I told you and you sent me a new kit for free which I am so happy with. The new shade has more brown water barely any red undertones. I absolutely love my hair now
I have to say I was very skeptical that I would like this service. I LOVE IT!!! So easy, the girls helped to get me the correct color to go from blonde to brunette. I pull heavy red in my hair, and I really hate it, makes doing my own hair impossible and frustrating. Detailed instructions, easy to follow. I will be subscribing, and I added on the balayage kit. I used this on my hair last week, colour went on even. My hair is so shiny and soft and the exact hair colour I wanted. I have had so many compliments.
I like that it's so close to my natural color but it's bright shiny and the colors blend so nicely together. I need to leave it in a little longer so that the gray is covered better. I have noticed on the sides you can already see the gray coming through but no worries love it. I'll just adjust it if necessary for better gray coverage.
I have always used Loreal #10, then #9.5 then 9 and finally 8.5 trying to find my most natural blonde but it was always too white or too brassy. My colorist mixed exactly what was my perfect shade. I am 61 and was a natural blonde but this covers my gray and doesn't look like I color my hair. Thank you!
