I was impressed by the color match. I'm sure it was better than I would have pick at the drug store. My hairstylist didn't even notice until I pointed it out, even though I had about an inch of growth.
Gosh, I've just had the best experience. I've been a box girl for years but it's just not covering the gray anymore. My first box came damaged and when I called, I experienced customer service that rivaled Southwest Airlines. haha! They got me another box immediately and I LOVE the color. They matched a perfect color for me that I wouldn't have known to ask for. And today, my friend said "I can spot box color from 20 paces and you finally went to the salon, didn't you?" Can't complain about that! The process is a little more involve than your typical box from Walmart so do it in an evening you have a bit more time but you won't regret it.
Loved the subtle color upgrade from my natural color. Shinier. Blonder. Nice.

i love this darker color. I had some difficulty with the two-step coloring process. My two steps ran together. But i love the color. For my next order I would love to have the same color in only one step. I have not yet had a chance to ry the root touch-up. I just colored a week ago. Thanks so much!

Thought I'd give it a shot. It was a lot darker than I thought I wanted, but I really liked it. The packaging was spiffy, and directions as well as tutorials were very helpful. Looking forward to my next order!
I had dark blonde hair with outgrown dark brown roots, and I wanted to go dark brown again.
I asked my haircolorist for this color, I attached a picture of my hair and a picture of the color that I want, She was very caring and helpful and the end result was the exact color that I had in mind, a gorgeous chocolate brown, Thank you esalon :)
In the past I've spent hundreds of pounds on my hair, from different stylists to specialised colourists, and yeah i liked the results, but the price always meant i couldnt get my hair coloured as regularly as I'd have liked to. But eSalon has changed all that! As it's a snip of the usual salon price it means I can now colour my own hair every 6 weeks, and the results are just as good as going to a salon! So many people have commented on how gorgeous my colour is, and how glossy it is! I couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend everyone to give it a go!!
First time ever dying my hair at home so i was very nervous.
Firstly the box came and the packaging was so cute! They add lots of personal touches which i found fab.
The instructions were very easy to follow for a beginner. The colour itself is fab exactly what i needed and my hair looks very healthy,natural and doesnt look box dyed at all.
Overall super impressed!!

My grays start to come through about every 3 weeks or so. While I have my hair professionally colored about every 6-7 weeks, I love this kit as an option to touch up my roots myself at home between colorings. It works great!
Love the way my hair turned out! Followed the instructions and no more grey, color did not come out orange or too dark, just the perfect chocolate color that I wanted! I keep getting compliments on my hair and I'm loving it!
I am 51 with salt and pepper hair. With the increase in gray, I was going to the salon often and spending a lot of money. I had highlights but I am trying to grow them out. The color from eSalon was perfect. I called to get extra advice about using it on my highlights. I applied it to my roots for the first 25 minutes and then put it all over for the last 10 minutes. And I love it! The highlights are warmer and the color is much more flattering than what I had been doing. My last picture is a before and after.
My hair was a hot mess but I was able to achieve the look I was going for with the help of the color stylist! my Hair feels soft and is shiny and is the color I was hoping for!
I finally had the chance to use my color and can't believe the shine and softness of my hair. I love the color and it did a great job of covering my roots. Now I'll be curious to see how long I can go before needing to reapply and whether the color will fade or stay vibrant. Application was a little more work than the color I've been using but if it lasts it will be well worth it.
My husband helped me as it was my first attempt and we had a great time with it since the directions were clear. The scent was not strong during application and the end result was silky beautiful hair. I’m impressed and proud of my new discovery!!!!!
I have been coloring my hair red for over 18 years. And this is the best color I have ever used. And it doesn’t run!!! I can color my hair and then be in a white shirt in the rain the same day and The color doesn’t get on my clothes or me!! It is great!!!

I love that it wasn't harsh smelling and my niece who did the application appreciated that as well and we both loved the way it turned out... we just did the coloring on 7Sept so I am now watching to see how long it lasts so I can determine the best ordering frequency
The color immediately following process is natural looking, hair is super soft with no greys peeking through. It even smells lovely. I can’t remember ever getting a color that didn’t need a few days to calm down from looking right out of a bottle (either brassy or too dark). eSalon thought of everything...stain prevention products are a delight (& I used both), 2 pairs of gloves, plus a wonderful finishing shampoo & conditioner included. From start to finish the process couldn’t have been easier. I am super pleased!
Update: 1 month later...still loving the product! The color has stayed true (an exact match for the 5 yr old photo I uploaded) and not a hint of grey showing through. I did start using a non-sulfate shampoo for colored hair (not eSalons, just an inexpensive drug store brand) but the color hasn’t faded and my stubborn wirey greys are still disguised and tamed like normal hair. ESalon offers excellent quality products, tons of tutorial videos and an exceptional staff to talk you through any concern.
I am so glad that I found this company.The color is so great and my husband just loved it.When I'm outside it just shines and looks so natural. Have been using E-Salon for a few years now and I'm very impressed with the results...if I want to go more intense color -they can make it Your Way! Seems less stress on your hair and lasts quite awhile-I have chosen red..have had many compliments and tell everyone to use E-salon online..Great product and less stress on your locks! Will continue to use E-salon, because the chemicals are not harsh as the ones on the market.
I have yet to find a product that will completely cover my greys until they grow out of course. But no product yet to do this but eSalon products!! I’m very pleased I will never go back to store bought box kits....ever!

This is my first time using this and it has done a great job of keeping my hair color for a longer time than the one in the beautician salon. I have curly hair and I use lotion on my hair and the lotion builds up and strip away the color from my hair, but this one last longer. Thanks
I have been using ESalon for a year or more and I just love it. It is always a perfect match. I used to get it auto-delivery every 12 weeks and just changed it to every 8 weeks now (getting too much gray!) and am looking forward to my next shipment. This may be one of the best products that I can count on to make my hair look great!
I was purchasing a "dark blonde" at my local pharmacy and had to switch brands often due to limited supply. ESalon suggested a medium blonde based on a picture I sent them and it is perfect. I no longer have to search for color. It comes right to my door and I love it!!

I can't believe how easy this is - and I look forward to the "ME TIME"!! I used to have to block off a whole Saturday just to get my roots done. And I don't miss paying over a $150 (without tip) just for a root touch-up. Although I do miss my stylist who I had been going to for years and her incredible friendship - I realized by watching her I learned the skills to color my own hair. eSalon makes it soooo easy, user friendly and almost error proof - I look forward to opening my box every couple of months! And, I find my color lasts much longer. The color seems such high quality and I always receive so many compliments. It is finally the right shade of blonde - not brassy. I have never been happier with my hair - and it used to give me the biggest headaches ever! I was worried by the strong chemical smell of the "lightest blonde" color because I was afraid it would damage my hair, but it didn't (even my hair cutter said so), and the results were so nice! The color covered grey better, made my hair shinier, and was just the right shade! I honestly didn't expect the results to be any better than my usual grocery store brand, but it definitely is. And worth the price difference! And there's not my usual delay in getting around to buying hair color because it's shipped automatically. I love it!
I thought I take a chance and order this hair color instead of going to the salon and paying a $100 everytime.
So I just colored my hair last night and WOW!!!!! I love the shade the picked for me. I was wanting a ash tone and my hair color lady said that might not be the best choice. She was so right on with the color she made for me. I will be referring friends to eSalon. Thanks again for this wonderful color.

I have always had my hair colored at the salon, but our household is on a money saving kick- esalon to the rescue. My hair looks fabulous, and I did it at home. The color is great the option to use a bowl/brush or bottle to apply everything was clearly explained, and couldn't have been easier. I was spending $60 every six weeks to have those nasty gray roots covered up, but now I'm saving my money, and smiling to myself. Yay!
Hair colour is perfect, but shampoo and conditioner flattens my curly hair.

I am absolutely in love with the colour. I took a little bit of a chance, diverging from my usual light blonde with a medium coppery blonde. Could not have been happier. The shade perfectly matched my skin and eyes, and I got a ton of compliments! Was also pleasantly surprised with the kit. Everything I needed - can't believe how cheap this is! The only point of critique is that the shampoo and conditioner does not work well with my curly hair. It made it smooth and silky, but also very flat and lifeless. Maybe this would be an interesting next step with the personalisation of the colour kits? Not only a colour profile, but also a hair type?
The set that arrives for my first colour was amazing. I loved the box and the way it was set out.
Great instructions and simple to do at home. The colour has lasted and hasn’t washed out after each wash. So pleased. Thank you
