When I placed my first order with eSalon I had just purchased two boxes of my usual product at a local grocery store. Since I had just used one of them and planned on using the remaining one before I colored my hair again I had to wait several weeks to try my new product from eSalon. I was skeptical while my hair was processing as it looked like I had chosen a color too dark for my skin color. Needless to say it was darker than what I had been using and I immediately received glowing compliments from everyone in my friend and family circle. The BEST thing however is that the gray hair that usually shows up after only 2-3 weeks with my old color now doesn't surface for about 7-8 weeks. So I am now only coloring my hair half as often as I used to. The color is rich and vibrant. I am very happy using this product!
The color is good but i would like it more red. Its easy to use and the box provides what you need. Highly recomended.after i color my hair it leaves my hair soft and shiny. Will be ordering again

Absolutely love 💗 Love 💓 LOVE 💕 the color developed just for me! I've gotten many compliments on the shade. The color and the customer service are A-1, Top Notch, 5-Star! This product makes my hair shine and it seems to be fuller as well. Sad news is the ammonia odor is very strong and difficult for me to endure so coloring my own hair makes it impossible to avoid the fumes. Only other option would be to switch to semi-permanent. 😕 IF/WHEN an ammonia-free permanent color becomes available, I WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!

Was worried about the new Esalon color not being “red” enough- although it is slightly different than my previous red, I love it! AND, my husband loves it! He said the bright red did not look good, and this color matched my skin and complexion way better! Thank you Esalon!
I really love this colour on me. I have asked for it to be changed though as we are in a different season and wish to be a little different. The packaging is lovely, and it easy to apply
I was pleasantly surprised by the initial contact and follow- up. I found the process for choosing a colour very simple and appreciated the follow up text. The products arrived beautifully packed with easy to follow instructions clearly laid out. I did have a moment of panic wondering what I was doing using a hair colour from the internet and again when I saw dark brown streaks all along my forehead but these were easily removed by the products provided. I had stopped having my hair salon coloured because my hair had become very dry. I was delighted with these results. Not only was my hair colour perfect but the condition of my hair, using the products provided, was also excellent. My hair is coloured , moisturised and shiny. I will certainly use these products again and am happy to recommend them.

This is my third time ordering my custom color. The first two times I colored my whole head, but this time was just roots. My golden red tones tend to fade faster than other colors so I was slightly worried that my roots would come out darker than my ends, but that wasn't the case at all! The steps are easy to follow and the last step makes sure your roots blend perfectly with your ends!
This color is beautiful! It looks as good as when I get my hair professionally colored. The kit was great (I especially love the "stick up" instructions that I can put on my bathroom wall while coloring).
Wow! Esalon really works! My color is rich and shiny! I used to spend $300 to get my hair colored! Never going back to the salon! If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend you do now!!

This was the first time of using esalon home hair colour. I was really impressed with the colour, the coverage and both the shine and condition it left my hair. I will definately be using this from now on. It also covered my white hair really well and kept its colour.
You can go thru the site and choose a base color that is perfect. Base color is not normally what you can change in at-home hair color. Any time you have a concern or question they answer your email quickly and offer solutions to the problem. The Temporary Root Touch-up is Awesome!! It covers completely and stays on until you remove it. It takes a little practice to get the amount of touch-up right, but once you have a technique it's great!

I’ve used the usual drug store hair color for about 5yrs mainly to color grey hair. It was destroying my hair and irritating my scalp. The e-salon hair color product is so much better. I love how it is shipped with meticulous attention to packaging-each product wrapped and/or bagged for an impressive appearance when opening every item. Personalized directions are a real treat. I’m very happy with the hair color, and I know help is always a touch away. I am pleased with the other products as well. The shipping every month saves me from having to worry about “the next coloring”. Thank you for your attention to detail and your quality products.

I'm still so happy with my color and I just called customer service to reschedule my next order and it was unbelievably easy! Also, easily added color for my ends. Sheesh. I usually HATE calling to do things like this but they made me feel like I can call all the people and resolve all the things! Thank you for making this process enjoyable and easy and Good.

I have been trying for what seems like forever to find a hair dye that is the same colour as I had when I was naturally a redhead in my younger years. I have now found it. Even my gray hair has gone. Not sure yet if it will come through again. Only time will tell. Thank you so much eSalon, it is perfect.
Had to pay import tax the second time I was sent the products, however eSalon credited the cost to my account. Thank you again.
It’s now 27th Jan 2019 and am even more in love with my colour than 6 months ago. I have asked for 2 adjustments and every time the changes were just as I asked. My colour is absolutely gorgeous and the greys only appear with the hair regrowth Thank you esalon.

I have spent so much money over the years at a stylist! I decided to try eSalon as I am now on a fixed budget. I love it! My hair is gray and the color works great! I even have some highlights because of the gray being lighter than the rest of my hair. I recommend this product to all women who are turning gray. You will love it too!
This was only my second time coloring my own hair. The color made for me was exactly what I was hoping for. It covered my grays, and the step by step instructions were easy to use. The videos where very helpful as well. I will be ordering from them again.
I have a lot of golds and browns in my red hair and this color has captured all of that, not making it look like my color has come from a box. It's not maroon, pink or orange... it's just right for a girl that's been a redhead her whole life.
By far the best haircolor I've ever used. Covered all my gray and looks perfectly natural. The color is exactly what I expected, not brassy, and not red at all. I absolutely will be ordering again!

I really love the color. I have white streak in front that doesn’t hold the color for long so I reserve some of the color to just touch up that 1” strip.
it was perfect color with some deep to dark brown and with some depth of gold in it so it is not totally dark. I love this color and will keep it for awhile. never had a color that was what I had really liked for my hair and covered all my roots well.
Let me start off thus review by saying WOW! I was almost in utter disbelief to see my hair that was once box dyed black go to the red undertoned brown that I have today. My hair still looks incredibly healthy, not like most dyes you can access yourself that will leave your feeling dry. The shampoo and conditioner that comes within the kit smell great and leave my hair feeling great, the conditioner is more than hydrating. Everything was so easy and the instructions plus pro tips made it even easier, thank you so much Esalon for such amazing products.
I can't be more pleased with my hair color. I've spent a lot of money at the hairdressers trying to get close to my real shade prior to going grey! This is so close to my natural color, I feel like myself again! Their product and packaging is really top of the line. I love this company!!
I am incredibly happy, the colour is what I wanted, the kit is so professional, the feeling of the dye is luxurious and fresh, my hair feels like it has had a treatment, nothing like I have ever experienced before, even the smell is gentle, I LOVE it! Hi guys! I was worried about going dark but the customer service was on it! I chose an auburn and was worried it would be something unnatural but the two step color provided and step by step instructions resulted in a beautiful flattering rich color that looks great in every lighting. My hair was a little rough after coloring but a vinegar rinse calmed down the cuticles and I’m very happy. I love the shampoo, conditioner and big softy conditioner.
I have colored my hair for more than 40 years in some form or another. eSalon Custom Color Set not only provides everything you need (love that I get 2 pairs of gloves, stain guard, and stain remover) but my color stays true between colorings. I always had a problem with my dark brown fading to medium brown before I switched to eSalon. I really can't say enough good things about my color.
My stylist did an excellent job to blend a color that's just right for me, working with the photos I sent and my explanation of what I was expecting. When I get a notion to change it up, I'll send new pics with updated preferences, and I know it will be on target. The color is great! Thank you for the personal attention.
I was initially afraid, when I ordered, that I had chosen a color too dark. I turned out perfectly. My highlights that have grown out look natural with the darker roots. No obvious line.
I extend kudos, accolades, and the highest accommodations for creating a product with simply written and understandable procedures that provided me with a beautiful outcome. The shade becomes my complexion with a seemingly natural effect. Moreover when I was faced with questions or dilemmas, I thought the extensively written customer service responses were invaluable.

I hadn't colored my hair in many years so it had grown out to my virgin dark ash blonde color. I used this gorgeous copper dark ash blonde and it's so beautiful and absolutely perfect color for me. I've gotten so many compliments and even got a new boyfriend! Thank you Esalon!
I have been trying to find the perfect red for me. I didn’t want it to be “bright” but I do want rich. I have been a redhead for years and this is one of the best formulas I have had. I gave four stars because I wish the ends freshener were more gentle like a semi permanent so the peroxide isn’t so strong and trying to my naturally curly and already dry and coarse hair.
I went to the salon in El Segundo and the colorist pulled up my past color and was able to work with me to get exactly the color i wanted. Cant wait to go back and do it again.
It's easy to do, quality color at home. When I told my colorist I wanted more coppery red she got it exactly right. When I wanted to change the frequency of shipments and skip one, it was done immediately.
This has been the BEST at home hair dye!! The process was easy and I didn't have to spend a fortune (and hours!) getting it done at a salon. It turned out wonderful, they even took into consideration my highlights and roots! And it didn't wash out after the first wash of my hair like store bought box dye does! Love it!
This was such an experience for me! I have always gone to salons to get my color done but it does get pricey and I’m a busy mom so when do I have the time? This takes the salon straight to my home. Great products and my hair looks so healthy!
I applied my color today to cover the roots . It’s a beautiful custom shade, with nice tones that doesn’t look like a stark change- just looks like “ my “ hair color . The previous applications always grow out nicely- the color evolves rather than just fading out. It is easy to do myself , requiring little time, effort or even skill. I will likely add highlights soon to get me thru the winter doldrums !
This is better than any other hair color I have used, both store bought and salon applied. It is easy to use and comes with everything you need. It leaves hair glossy and manageable. Best of all, it does not fade! At all.
I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my coloring!! Got rid of ALL the grays almost instantly, had to go back and take care of a few during the process but coverage is beyond my expectations! I will never buy another drugstore box of hair dye again...nor will I waste my money at the salon! Thank u Hannah at eSalon!
