I have been trying for years to find the right design and color. I have spent a ridiculous amount at salons, home companies, etc. After 6 weeks of using eSalon, my hair is still vibrant with color and highlights. It is the perfect look for me. After paying several salons several hundred dollars to help me get back to my natural copper red, I was reluctant but it blew my mind how close to my natural color it came. After the color consultant confirmed my color with a very, very light blond version of my natural color it is a perfect match. I never expected this reaction, let alone could have saved myself hundred of dollars. I rarely leave product reviews but I thought this time I should. Thank you!

I love my new hair color, copper golden. I was a very red but I wanted to start going darker. This was a perfect transition. My next color will be a shade or two darker, until I get the color I’m looking for!!! Thank you to my colorist for listening to me and making sure I am happy. Guess What??? IM HAPPY. It’s so nice to get a good hair color for half the price of a salon but with salon results!!!!

I tried the new chocolate color that has a bit of ash and a bit of red on a lark. I usually go neutral bcuz ash gives my hair a green tinge, & red can make me brassy- neither of which are a good look for me. But I wondered if they may cancel each other out. Well for me, they did. I have the prettiest shade of dark chocolate with barely discernable hints of dark red (not copper or brass!) Which gives my color depth and is very natural looking. I LOVE IT!
I enjoy having the same color all the time. I even been to their Salon in LA. They did a fantastic job putting on my color before I left on a vacation out of LAX. I don't know about you but I save a LOT OF MONEY with e-Salon.

I finally found a beautiful golden brown base that I can use why I try to lighten my hair with high & lowlights.
The shampoo and conditioner included made my hair super soft and manageable. I am so happy with this. Now it will be so easy to maintain a beautiful haircolor.
My first color kit was a little to red for me so, I asked the colorist to add more mahogany to my color formula. The second color kit was a perfect color for my complexion and hair. I am so happy with the way my color formula looks and the gray coverage it provides.
I adore my color I get from them!!! It's the exact color I absolutely love!!! And looks amazing on me!! I think I've tried every color in the book but this one seems to be the only one I'm in love with.

Easy to use. Comes with everything needed., including gloves, stain guard for forehead area (ears, etc.) , stain remover ( I tend to get color on my arms! ) and the easiest directions.
I absolutely love love love the color that eSalon has created for me. My hair is soft, shiny and healthy. I have gotten so many compliments, people cannot believe that I simply purchased this online. I use this to touch up grey roots and full head as well, it blends in so well month after month. Top quality salon grade product...this is NOT your typical drug store box hair color. I have been using eSalon products for years...it never disappoints.

I love ESalon. I signed up during the pandemic in 2020 and i have never gone back to the salon for a color. I have been a customer for 3 years and will remain faithful to ESalon. The customer service is superb plus the packaging is awesome. I also like that the color does not hurt my scalp. It's very gentle on my scalp. Love it!!! Definitely recommend to everyone.

Here I am again. I've been using esalon hair colour for quite a few years now. I decided to go darker. Well! The results are beautiful. I absolutely love my colour, with hints of red, it is perfect. I started using eSalon Custom Hair Color in 2020 and I have to tell everyone how very happy I am with the beauty of the color that I get from their products. I use the ammonia free option and appreciate the gentleness of the product. My hair is long and I have been coloring it since I was 40 years old. I am now 70 and the results and color I get with MY custom color cannot be beat or even matched by any drugstore brand or even something done by a professional colorist at a much higher cost. The color is such a great match to my original, youthful hair color that I look and feel years younger! I get so many compliments on my hair that it is just amazing. I also use the Tint Rinse between coloring and it keeps the color sharp and bright. You should spread the word and help ALL women (and men too) look and feel their best.
I don't know what this color is called but I love it! My husband does too! Unfortunately, I cannot remember who I spoke to but she helped me to make a decision for my olive skin and what I was after and assured me that I would love it! She said everyone that goes with this color is always very happy with it and she was right!

My hair blends into both white, blonde and reddish, light tan tones, since I were a young 5 yr old, and it was white/blonde the whole time before that. I braved it and my hair thanks me with how happy it bounces with moisture and overall bounciness. The coloring part seems so natural to mine that outside of some greys that try to come in, all I see is my natural tones. Thanks again!

I was not expecting to be impressed. I don’t think that’s even a strong enough positive word to share this experience!!
I was so impressed that I received an email from the team asking about my choice. They noticed that I was going down 2 levels in color and wanted to make sure I was aware, this would be a dramatic change.
I replied to the email and assured my stylist that I like change and was looking forward to it.
Finally, today is the day! The day I’d color my hair.
I am honestly amazed. The stain protection worked!! It never works on my skin, this did.
Ok, let’s mix up color!! Perfect amount of color and developer. I was worried about that because I have a lot of hair. Each time I would move to the next step, I still kept my hopes low. Holy cow did y’all ever change that!!!

I made the purchase in a moment of weakness. I was OK with my current shelf product, but decided to give it a try to determine if there was a difference after seeing reviews. It was the BEST decision! I love how the color looks on my hair and my thick, short hair is very soft to the touch. I'm definitely stay with eSalon color!

Really like your products, will adjust color just a tad. (Less red, more ash maybe?) still so pretty. My hair tends to go brassy…very hopeful we’ll get it right. Thanks Esalons and Yvette you are great!!

The color results are amazing! It’s exactly what my stylist promised and I’m in love. I cannot get over how silky soft my hair was after applying color. I’ve never had that experience with at home color.

Easy to use - instructions were very simple. Like that a timer and 2 pair (instead of the usual 1 pair) of gloves and hair clips were included, and a sticker to hang the instruction sheet where it was visible at all times without having to be handled was a nice added touch. All the little extras were very nice and greatly appreciated. Arrived quickly, loved the personal (via internet) treatment. Can't wait to see how long the color actually lasts before it needs to be touched up. I plan to post again then

As a natural redhead who is now middle aged …. I have had a colorist mess up my hair so many times that I was finally jaded enough with EVERYTHING I’d tried at the salon to try DIY color. I thought - it can only get better than what I was doing, which was paying $225 a pop for the privilege of having a stylist turn my hair accidentally pink at every third visit. I have been impressed from the very beginning. I love esalon. This is so much more than DIY hair color in a box. They always respond to my change requests and it’s always looked fantastic. Never going back to the salon!!
This color product leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy. It feels like the color is more fade resistant than store bought treatments. Professional results on my schedule at home.
My hair is red, which is hard to dye, and I also had bleached ends. I wanted a darker red, but not a purple or orange red (with me?)...and eSalon TOTALLY DELIVERED. The instructions were personalized for my hair and so easy to follow. The results are *chef's kiss*. So pleased!
After a lifetime of dying my own hair, I splurged and spent four years having my hair salon dyed. I decided to tighten my budget, but didn’t want to destroy my hair, I went with esalon. My hair is soft, the color is what I had hoped, and I would highly recommend esalon.
After spending over $100 at the salon for every root touchup, I needed to try something else and Instagram knew it. I clicked the ad, chose my color, described my desired result, and uploaded a photo. I was very pleasantly surprised with eSalon's customer service; I was contacted by a team member who explained that the color I chose would not give me the result I said I wanted and she suggested another color. I took her advice and the package arrived a few days later. The kit was complete with gloves and a brush, which I found super helpful for doing a root touch up. I chose a non-ammonia formula, so there was no stink. The formula was thick so there was no drip. The color came out great and covered all the grays! I'm very happy with this so far and plan to use it for my next root touch up.

I tried going to the salon to get my hair done and the process for me is just too time consuming. The last time I went to a salon I also was not so satisfied with the color. Since I started coloring at home I can do it anytime I want and as a busy working mom of 2, I appreciate the flexibility. The products are easy to apply, the instructions are simple to follow and the color is just the best. It is the closest I could get to my original color. Most of the time people can't believe I color my hair. Gray coverage is excellent for me too.

Absolutely loved everything about this coloring kit. I wanted a warm auburn/mahogany color and my stylist was spot-on with their suggestion to go with a lighter shade!!! The kit came with more than enough product (I always ran out of product with drugstore kits) and the included instructions were large print and very easy-to-read.
If the price of getting your hair professionally colored makes you throw up in your mouth a little bit (like we could straight up feed a 3rd-world country for 10 years with the price of one general coloring sesh, 15 years with highlights) but want something a little nicer than those slightly-unnerving drugstore kits, BUY THIS KIT!!
I honestly notice zero difference with this kit vs. getting professionally-colored (but I will admit I am rather laidback with my hair and do not care for highlighting)...
~ For reference, I previously had a fading auburn color with some serious darker roots (I naturally have medium-dark brown hair w neutral undertones, no gray). Shoulder length with slightly wavy/straight texture.~
On a side note, as a total product design nerd, I give everything about this kit a 10/10 - from the custom labels to the tiny bottles to the instruction sheet to even the box...total cuteness overload!!

My first try at using eSalon color and it came out very well. Received rave reviews from family and friends. It looks natural, has lots of dimension, and is a flattering shade.
Feels good to be in control of my hair with quality products. I have been disappointed with going to the salon for a while now due to cost and plain sloppiness of color application (like not staying within my hairline), I was feeling at a loss for what to do then I discovered esalon. I have some gray and this does a good job of covering them. I typically do my hair every 5 weeks (it grows fast!) The process of getting set up with the right color here was simple and fast. When I tell people I have been coloring my own hair they are always shocked because the color looks so good and natural. I may increase to every four weeks because I hate regrowth. But being able to do it at home is not as much of a time commitment so it is more convenient. Super happy!!!
To be honest I was sceptical thinking it was just a fancy personalised box dye. I was even madder when the experts advised a different colour from what I usually used (35years). I have afro hair and always used a dark brown to cover greys. The experts sent me soft black. I expected to get a result of boring plain black. Instead hair is vibrant and exactly my own natural colour. I love it. My hair looks so natural and does not look dyed. The system is so easy, no squeezing colours from metal/ plastic tubes etc. No drips, no harsh smells. My partner didn't even notice my hair was not dyed, he thought I washed out the old colour and went natural. That is a wow!!!! Would highly recommend.
Was a little concerned when the colourist changed my order for darker shade, but went with it. Was nervous when I saw how dark it developed, but the overall result is amazing and nowhere near as dark as I thought. Best colour I’ve ever had looks so natural and looks like me. Thank you !
I started using eSalon about 8 years ago (at age 62) to disguise some gray/white hair that was starting to show up! I've never used any other color product so can't compare it to another one, but this one is so perfect that I wouldn't want to try another! The color is so awesome that my hair seems as natural as it was before needing to cover that gray, and it has stayed just as healthy. Last year I decided to ask my stylist (whom I went to see just for trims) if I could bring the color to her to apply, just to save me having to do it at home. She gladly permitted this and has been doing it for me ever since. She raves about how great it is for my hair and how good my hair looks!! So, not just my opinion, but that of a professional!!! Some day--waaaaayyyy in the future--I may decide to go natural with the gray or white, but until that day, it will only be eSalon that colors my hair! Thanks for a truly great product!
I ordered the custom color set from eSalon and that was the easiest and best decision I've made in awhile. The custom color was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Best part is it was also delivered to my door. No going into stores and staring for an hour to decide what color I want. Its easy and convenient. Will never buy anywhere else. ESCALON is the BEST BY FAR!!!
Another great color very satisfied I think it's probably going to be easier for somebody else to color the top of my head because somehow I'm still missing pieces of gray or maybe they just don't want to be colored lol-still loving the products thank you
Have been having my hair done at my local salon.
Have noticed in a few weeks my color is starting to fade. Using this eSalon product has solved that problem. Color has lasted much longer then the hairdresser.
I'm loving the neutral dark brown shade it covered all my grays and color looks really natural and compliments my skin tone the kit is really nice comes w everything the customer service is awesome I just had my husband help me w the back of my hair much more affordable than going to a salon and I like the convenience of doing it at home w a product that is much better than box dye
