This is my first time using this color, and I love it!. Easy to apply and excellent results!. The only thing that I would like to suggest in the kit if you can add extra stain remover and a color bowl this would be helpful. When you have dark hair sometimes extra stain remover is needed. I am a licensed hairstylist and because of the pandemic to have this service is extremely helpful. It is nice to know if I ever need color in the future this service is available and convenient. Thanks for giving me beautiful color in a very trying time.

I am so fed up with salon results. I was getting a dye with highlights every six weeks, and I became so annoyed with the lack of consistency. My hair color was all over the place! At one point my over-zealous stylist actually made me almost blonde, without permission, because... "It's Summer, Girlfriend!" I have used this three times, and I love it. I picked a color that is by far the closest I have ever seen to the hair color of my twenties. The grays end up a lighter shade, which gives the appearance of natural highlights. A bonus to this is that the gray regrowth that usually stick out like a sore thumb tends to blend into the lighter shades. I am getting consistent results, in a color that I love.
I have incredibly sensitive skin, so anytime that I dye there is a day or two of itchy skin... this is no exception, but it doesn't have any reaction that is excessive for my skin type.
While home dye kits are messy in general, this has been a far better option for me. I have also been saving quite a bit of money... nobody is going to complain about that.
Crystella did an unbelievable job of determining and mixing my hair color from a couple of pictures. Due to the fact that I'm not getting out much due to the virus, I put off coloring my hair for a week or so. I colored my hair this morning and was a bit concerned (it's just hair) when I saw the product first on my hair. It seemed VERY light. Yikes! Oh, well. It was easy to apply and when finished, it was my hair color! YEA! Great job, Crystella! I'll review again when I see how well the color lasts. Typically, red hair fades fast.
I think my hairdresser is going to lose a few appts from me in the future. Just tried your service for the first time and I’m in love. Stephanie was my colorist and I added pictures to my order. I did not set the timer this time and just started to color ends soon after I was done with the roots. But my hair is waist long and knew it will take a lot if time for me to go through. So I think I’ve hold it a little bit longer. It turned out even better. I love it. It’s deeper, darker. Absolutely in love. Thank you
I had never colored my hair before purchasing this product. Every time I would go to the drug store, I would get overwhelmed with all the selections. Applying the color took me a few tries to get the hang of parting my hair and not making a mess, but I got it now! Its quick and the color matches great! Good instructions and really easy to use, no mess, covered the grey and my whole head in the end as I cropped my hair completely for covid-19 lockdown. Colour is exactly as ordered and works really well but I am going to go a bit darker next time. Thank you eSalon!
I have always previously had my hair coloured and cut at the salon once every four weeks, as I had in my head that box colours were too blocky and didn't have any tones to them? However due to the coronovirus and the closing of salons I obviously had to think about what to do...

I loved that a proper colour specialist designs your colour, with the option of downloading a picture if you want a colour near your current shade. I received my box with two bottles of colour, one for lengths and one for roots, and though nervous I've done the colour...

Brilliant quality of products and colour. Initially I had ordered a colour I thought was correct, however, when the expert reviewed my photo they suggested I had ordered too dark. I left it to them. I coloured my hair today, OMG, it is a colour I have wanted for a lifetime of visiting the hairdressers and they have never nailed it. eSalon difintiely have. I am truly delighted.
Speedy delivery ☺️ Pleased with my root touch up. It's blended nicely and reminds me of my natural colour except it's now covering my greys- Though I didn't have many to start with. Low maintenance as it's natural looking so will be able to go longer between touch ups. First time using so will see how long it lasts as colours usually wash out my hair fairly quickly. Tempted to do all my hair instead of just roots . More expensive than a box die however it does look like it's been done at the salon. I had my colour prepared by Tamara M. Thank you.

This was my very first time coloring my own hair, though I've had it done professionally for 20 years or so. I only opted to do this because my salon closed down during the current coronavirus ordeal. Anyway, I took a photo of my hair in the sunlight and also sent the info about the product my hair stylist had been using on me. The kit was perfect. The roots matched the rest of my hair perfectly. My hair felt soft afterwards. The directions were clear, and I liked the online videos as well. I was really pleasantly surprised because I didn't expect it to go this well.
I have never used color on my own as I have only used a stylist at a salon. Was skeptical but so impressed. Your packaging is adorable and loved the personal name touch and poem. The cape was a big surprise as such good quality and better than my own salon used. The color was a perfect match and today my hair feels silkier. Really a superb product - so much so that I am writing this review which I rarely take the time to do this. Thank you. I'll definitely use you again. As a side note I had my BF apply it, was pretty funny.
I will admit I stared at this for a couple of weeks before finally getting the nerve up to just do it. I've never colored my own hair before and I'm extremely picky about my hair being done right. It was SO much easier than I thought, with the bonus of being quicker & cheaper than a salon and it turned out beautifully. I really love this new color, it feels like ME!
This color was so right on! I have gray hair that I like to cover up, but not necessarily change up much with my red hair! My hairdresser is closed due to Covid-19 Michigan closures, so needed to figure something out for my at home work via Zoom....that shows just my face and gray hair if I have it! Lol! Not anymore! I am truly satisfied with the outcome of my hair color and coverage of my grays. What I was really impressed about was the fact that my colorist made 2 different bottles for my roots and ends.
This was less damaging to my ends and focused more time and coverage for my roots. Lastly, when I applied the shampoo and conditioner, it left my hair so smooth and manageable. Believe me, I’ve bought hair dye and it’s left my hair very stiff, wired and feeling stripped out of moisture.Overall, I am excited to join eSalon with all the great products and service.

I’m very pleased with everything about eSalon. Instructions were easy to follow. I was very happy with the color and the gray coverage. I have very long thick hair. I color my hair to cover my gray regrowth and in the past I’ve always had to purchase two boxes of hair color from a store to have enough for my roots. I was completely surprised when I found that one bottle of eSalon was just enough. 5 stars!

I colored my hair 2 days ago with eSalon's custom color set and it came out great! I am so surprised because I have never done it myself and I'm not so good with styling my hair and doing makeup. I will definitely order it again in 6 weeks. After I placed my initial order and sent a photo of my hair, Mindy sent me an email recommending I go with a lighter shade than I had chosen. Hello, I've been trying since last October to get this shade of color! I'm finally with the color I was hoping to get. So happy with the product. I tried to color my hair on my own then failed so went to a salon but that ate up lots of my money and still not entirely satisfied. With eSalon, even my boyfriend noticed and complimented me on the color! Yay! Happy customer indeed!
Love my result, very please with the quality. I need to learn how to apply product on the back of my hair. Very hard to do but it blended well all over my hair.

i am restricted to my home for health reasons and was nervous about dying my hair the first time. This made it super easy. There were some unforeseen preferential adjustments to be made but I got exactly what I'd asked for and the colourist worked asap to make changes to my next order. I find this very convenient as well as the choice of when it will autoship next as it is a product you need on a timeline. This is a fantastic service.
This was easy peasy, with every single piece of the process included (gloves, brush, stain guard, stain remover). I'm excited to play with it and see how close I can get to my ideal shade, but so far so good, and MUCH better quality than box store products!
Love that I can get this in the mail so it's so convenient. I don't have to be looking to make sure I have the correct color or remember which one it was. The instructions are super easy and clear. Great color and always looks good. Not to mention it doesn't take long at all to do.
I loved every part of this process. I got to put a lot of detail into the color I was searching for. I was contacted to make sure they understood. The product came quickly in great packaging. The product itself was odor free. It was easy to use and did a fantastic job covering my gray roots and putting a beautiful all over color on my hair. I have had the same hairdresser for 44 years. I know that’s a long time! Well I have Natural red hair and in the past years it was dulling as I age like red hair typically does. So my hairdresser used a Redken temporary color to give it shine and depth. Pandemic time so I decided to try your product. First of all the color match is perfect. I was able to color the front and my teen granddaughter finished what I couldn’t reach. It looks like I just stepped out of the shop of my longtime hairdresser. Love it. Love it !
I was nervous when I was applying the color because it was supposed to be an ash dark brown and while I was applying it, it looked more like black with hints of blue! It came out perfect though! Just don’t be alarmed when you’re applying, it will be ok. 🙂
Wow!!! What can I say.. it took me a while to get the hang of it, with the help of my not too happy husband putting the colour on the back.. It looked very dark once it started to develope but once rinsed, washed, conditioned and dried, the result was lovely. Lots of highlights popping through, not just a bland colour... Thank you.
I colored my hair today with the color my stylist sent to me and I am so happy with the outcome. My husband told me that it is the best color he has seen me with since we married nearly 21 years ago. I was so worried, during the pandemic that I wouldn't be able to color my hair. Every time I have bought any color from the store it has dried out my hair and makes it look dull. I like the coverage. The only think is I wanted my hair to be lighter but otherwise loved the way my hair felt after. Very soft and my hair was very shiny. Great product.
You get everything you need to do this at home, including 2 sets of gloves and excellent instructions. My color came out perfectly, nearly identical to the salon. All in, this took under an hour. A life saver at a time when salons must be closed.

I must say I was very happy with the custom color sent to me by eSalon! I vowed I would never color my own hair for fear of making a mess out of it and looking ridiculous. I always get my hair professionally colored and have been doing so for more than 20 years. Decided to try eSalon on a suggestion of my sister. I just colored my hair with the medium brown and the results were just as good as when I get my hair colored at the salon! It was a PERFECT match! Instructions were very easy to follow. I was very sceptical about colouring my own hair at home especially due to the mixture of blondes, light browns, dark browns & copper tones my hair was but due to the current situation that we’re all in I thought I’d go for it, I don’t have a lot greys but it covered my very dark roots & greys amazingly & my hair is all the same copper colour, It looks great... I documented it all via snapchat & I must say I am over the moon with the results... I will definitely use again!! Shame you don’t have a recommended a friend scheme as I have so many friends asking where they can buy their own kit xSx

My hair came out salon quality. At first I thought my roots would be turn out different than the other parts of my hair. But no. It looks great. The kit had everything I needed. I didn't even have color marks on my forehead, thanks to the protective solution in the kit. That is better than my stlylist is able to achieve.

I have been wanting to dye my hair for a while now, just to cover up a few silver strands I have. It turned out awesome and worked great and did the job it was suppose too. My custom hair color turned out a lot like my natural hair color (which is what I wanted) but more vibrant and the color looks more alive... I just love it! I came across eSalon while I was browsing on the web, so I checked out their site and am glad I did. I like how it shows you what your current color is and gives you a view of what it will look like with the custom hair color you pick. Its really easy and I will never spend another minute in a store trying to find the right hair color because I have found it right here on eSalon!

A pandemic quarantine brings out the creative side. After 4 weeks at home and no end in sight, my roots were looking way to prominent! I researched and eSalon seemed like a good way to start. It arrived in less than a week, I read the instructions, and less than an hour later I was done. I am beyond pleased! Easy....quick....no mess...GREAT RESULT!
