I got my first colour from eSalon last week. The delivery was quick and the packaging and instructions came personalised - lovely touch!
It felt like a whole lot of value - more dye than a bought box set usually has, good sized mini shampoo and conditioner included, two sets of high quality gloves, stain protector for pre-colour and stain remover for afterwards. Everything you could need AND, my colour was great. A little darker than usual, so I think I'll ask my colourist to lift it a bit next time - I will definitely be using eSalon again!
I was going to order from another popular on line hair coloring site but because of the Covid 19 pandemic , they were showing very long delivery dates. So I researched a little bit more and came across e-salon. I read the reviews and while they were all really ( really) positive, I never dreamed I would get the results I did. I was anticipating great color but what I received was AMAZING color! Not only was it a fraction of the cost of my salon hair, it was easy to apply, had all the tools that I needed and the result was spectacular! I'm talking shine, rich full color, grays covered and beautiful highlighted pieces!! Now I have to figure out how to break up with my stylist of 25 years! Thanks e-salon!
I've been coloring my hair using box color from the drug store for 30 years. I've used the same brand and color for many years, but the company kept tweaking the formula, so the results were becoming inconsistent. I stopped coloring my hair about a year ago and I was pretty much all-over gray. I'd heard good things about eSalon but I was wary about the color match. I was really pleased with the results - the color is perfect, my hair looked great and shiny, and it was very easy to use.

I searched the internet for a safe product to try to touch up grays at home during our Covid 19 stay-at-home order. eSalon had the most number of shades to choose from, and with careful comparisons with my hair color and eSalon's color choices I was able to get an EXACT match. Using a brush (and mimicking how my usual hair stylist adds color to my hair), and following the step-by-step instructions the result was fabulous. Looking at my hair color no one would know that I did a "home job" as it matches so well!
With all that is going on now and me being an "essential" worker I knew I had to color my hair myself. I didn't want to use a box dye from the drugstore. After seeing a few ads from eSalon on Facebook I decided to give it a try. I am extremely pleased with the entire process. My hair feels so soft and the coverage is amazing. I will definitely continue using this product.
I have been coloring my roots since my early twenties (for over 35 years) due to premature grey and my roots are pretty much white all over with a small mix of grey. This color covered my white/grey roots perfectly! The color held up well and took on very nice tones after it was washed a couple of times. Color did not wash out or fade at the root and is an excellent product for stubborn grey coverage.
I have thick wavy curly hair almost to my waist and this saturated all my hair and covered my grey beautifully. It's a little dark but still I've asked my next to be changed but I still love this coloring and this company so far and changing my color will be so very easy. For the price to try...it works as well as spending a few hundred at a salon
I am so impressed with the entire process. It was my first time coloring my own hair. I really appreciate the feedback that the color I choose was too dark. The colorist, Paul adjusted the color. I can’t believe how good my hair looks. My roots and gray are covered and I feel so much better.

Glad I came across eSalon the hair colours are vibrant and very smooth on your hair . There is no hard horrible smell whilst dying your hair like shop brought ones
The color was very easy to apply and looked perfect when it was finished. I have noticed the gray returning at my roots sooner than a salon visit. Loves the shampoo and conditioner my hair felt so full of body, soft and manageable.
The color looks so natural, covers my grays, and the kit has everything I need, including the stain remover. I even got compliments from my hair dresser for the color.
It was an easy process to find the correct color. The color was perfect! Covered all my greys perfectly and now 3 weeks later still great coverage. Very pleased!
I think this kit as an alternative to being able to go to salon is perfect. Directions were easy to follow and since I’m a red, I was worried that the color would be wrong, but I was very pleased with the color and it has stayed through many washes. So much less expensive then going to salon. I going to keep using after salons reopen.

I was very happy with this color kit. Easy to follow instructions, felt customized to my requests and plenty enough to color to do my longer length. Color was demential and vibrant, covered my stubborn gray roots and the color has held up well.
I've never colored my own hair and was sceptical; a nyc friend referred me to you and I was thrilled with the results and the price! Very good instructions came with the kit.
I don't know how you colorists do it but it was perfect. I viewed the very helpful YouTube videos and application was a breeze. I'm not sure when my stylist is back to work so I will be placing a new order soon.

I haven’t colored my own hair in 20 years cause I’ve screwed it up one too many times! I didn’t have much of a choice in quarantine. Now, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the salon for coloring! My hair colored turned out so beautiful. It’s rich, shiny, and looks amazing!

Great color and easy instructions to follow for my very long hair. I was forced to color my own hair during the lockdown and I realized that while convenient, going to a salon was way, way more expensive for something I can do myself. Plus, with the right tools and products I do an even if not better job. Thank you!
Thank you for saving me! My gray hair was grown to a point that I couldn't wait, besides my highlights were fading so the color wasn't looking nice. With my new color set, I covered my roots but also combed through the color and was able to tone down the yellow from my highlights, it looks now so natural. Very satisfied! I would like to send you the pictures but there is no option within this review section.
I was a bit skeptical about using this product but let’s be honest I’m sure most of us are. BUT and that’s a huge but- I am absolutely thrilled with the results. It ended up being a bit darker than I was expecting but I am 100% okay with it. It’s a dark brown but when the light hits it it has a red tint. At first I thought it wasn’t colored evenly or something but I did an awesome job at getting everything even (yay me! **back pat). Any time my hair moves it looks red. I can’t wait for a clear day to see what it looks like in the sun!

I purchased this to cover my roots, which I have never done by myself before. It was a simple process, I did have a little help from my 14 year old. I have a ton of hair so it was hard to see if I was getting all of the glitter(grays) showing. I really liked the color, it was right on with my true natural hair color.

Was really worried my hair would come out with a lot of red in it, Pleased to say it didn't not!! Yeah! I have never, ever colored my hair. On the recommendation of a friend who had great success with eSalon, I went for it. Nervous, I contacted them directly and spoke to the about my data entered. They tweaked my color and it arrived in good time. It sat on my counter until Friday after work and I started. I'm a 'newbie' at this so I would say any gray that wasn't covered was my own fault. My mid length cut doesn't hold up under clips well (short and long pieces) so I have a plan for next time. But the end result was beautiful. I ended up with a mellow dark blonde with warm highlights. Most of the gray was covered and as mentioned those that weren't I believe are user error. I will definitely use this product again.
I so enjoyed using esalon. The color was easy to apply. The instructions were easy to follow. I also found the How-To videos very helpful for first time users of product. My color treatment was matched perfectly. My hair felt soft and manageable after using product. The only problem I had was total coverage of gray hair in part of hair and front hairline. The hard gray area was colored but a lighter color in places. Those areas had not been colored for 2 months due to Covid-19. I was completely white in that area before adding esalon custom color. Any suggestions for complete coverage in hair part area for next shipment of esalon? I appreciate any advice.

I've always gone to the salon to have my hair colored and cut, but with the pandemic that was not possible. A friend told me about eSalon so I tried it out and I have to say I love the way my hair came out and so surprised that I had colored my hair myself! So proud of me!! My husband said "it looks better than when you went to the salon." I am loving eSalon!!
Absolutely over the moon with my hair colour, the colour is spot on. I now have from E-Salon my highlights which I will be using this week but I am fully confident it will be perfect.
Impressive color and quality. My hairline greys show back up after one week though. I will try to cover better next time. I saved over $100 salon cost.

I was a little nervous, but with COVID19 quarantine, I desperately needed a color. I took the survey, sent in pictures and ended up with a perfect match. I had an issue with delivery (not really eSalon's fault), but the product finally arrived. Honestly, the color is beautiful and my roots perfectly match the rest of my hair. I have brunette hair with different color highlights and was very apprehensive to color my own hair. I took a chance and received the perfect color. It covered my grays and did NOT change my highlight color !!!! Smooth shiny hair and very little smell. I was very impressed!
