Undertone was wrong :(I specified I wanted an ashed out demi permanenr as this is what i traditionally do every three months. ResultsMy color was wrong this time. I put pictures on here for you guys to look at it. My root color was bright red and my ends refresher turned out blonde with no red. Not quite what I neededThe product was easy enough to use and the instructions were clear. This was a kit made for root touchups on dark blonde hair. Either I did not order a light enough shade, or I did not leave it on long enough. My roots have an orange-y look to them. Definitely not what I wanted. Couldn’t open! Seriously!The bottle of color was sealed unevenly in a way that made it impossible to open. I even had my husband, and 23 yr old son try. My husband ended up drilling a hole in the side so I could squeeze out the content into a bowl to use. Color was nice, but didn’t last more than 3 weeks. Poor resultsAfter completing the custom colour questionnaire, I didn't receive my custom colour hair pack; I got a set colour pack instead. Quite disappointed with the end results. Even though I followed the instructions, the colour didn't set as hoped. The roots ended up too red, the greys weren't covered, and the colour overall was not uniform. Awful colorNot only did it not take. It lasted 3 washing’s and left my hair like string. Let alone I canceled my subscription and as usual. I keep getting billed. I never like any of your subscription types because of that reason alone, you never get them to stop charging your card you matter how many times you canceled. Color I know this business. 1st color wrong and corrected color wrong.The first color I chose was a red copper. It was vibrantly red where it's pink in the sunlight and has a purple hue in shade. The second color they adjusted it to have less red and more orange. Still came out pinkish red. This at all isn't the firey ginger color that I've wanted and even explained to the color specialist. Didn’t come out the color expectedI dyed my hair 4 days ago with the kit and I was really excited to see my result and I was really disappointed. I see little to no changes. I most color i see is probably on my front hair line. I actually waited 15 minutes more passed the suggested time to wash off do the next step. I don’t know what else to say but this color kit give me the same result as the box color I can buy at any store. Two missing orders and tracking links that dont workI was a big fan of the hair dye. But something went wrong during the order before that where i just never received the package or a tracking link. I had to wait 12 businessdays only to have it proof that it wont show up. The customer service was friendly by emailing me that they would and it again. I received notificatian and a link, only the link is for royal mail in GB and it keeps telling me that its an incorrect link. I have now spend money again cause my hair is starting to look awful as we are 4 weeks further and ordered again only to receive another tracking link that does not work. So i am not keeping my hopes up on receiving this one. Medium ash brownI started with blonde to wanting a medium ash brown. I do feel like the dye is a quality product and didn’t smell horrible like a box dye but the mix I got was very dark. Cannot get color correctAfter a year of constantly having to ask for my color adjusted to get it to the tone I desired from the start, one would think that it would be close enough that I may be happy. Instead, my color is awful and I’m spending a significant amount to have corrections done. There was one single time when I was in tears because the color was so bad that I received a complimentary color, other than that I was told that an adjustment would be made for the color that was to come in 8 or so weeks. My spouse cringes after I dye my hair and I try to avoid mirrors. Roots do not match rest of my hair!Loved the personalised box I received - everything I needed in the kit ready to go. Instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. I received a colour for my roots and a separate colour for my ends. I must admit - dying my own hair was a lot harder than I appreciated. Doing the front sections of my hair were managable; but doing the back sections were really difficult - so took me longer than maybe it is supposed to just for the roots. I followed all the instructions but my roots have come out a lot lighter than the rest of my hair. did not like the colorI did not like the color it was to dark and ask to have a different color sent. After several emails I just ask them to stop and not send anything else. I understood the shade below the one I had originally received would not lighten my hair but it would be something I could use later on once this shade had lighten. Botched Hair ColorI am very disappointed in the results I received with Esalon custom color. I decided to try ESalon based on the recommendation of a friend. I moved states and was looking for a more budget friendly color option as I only needed a root touch up. I provided several recent pictures as well as my previous stylists notes on how to mix my color. The color provided was far too light and red and my roots were very noticeably a different color. They sent a new color at no charge which I appreciated but I still have noticeable color bands after applying it. Any person with real coloring experience would know that the root color would need to be corrected in order to even out my entire head of hair - applying color over color is going to give you inconsistent results. Not right for my hairI have had my eye on eSalon for so Long and finally decided to try it. I really hate saying this but for me, it just didn't work out well. I was so careful to follow the directions to the T and the night I did color my hair the color was very pretty, unfortunately, after that it only lasted maybe 2 weeks. I am careful with what I use and/or put in my hair because I have curley/wavey. dry. turning grey hair and it can be a pain but this color just didn't want to stay and basically washed right out. Don't order if you want black dyeI gave this a fair shot, tried to adjust my order 3 times. I asked for black. All 3 adjustments couldn't get to black, so I spent 3 months with brown or visibly grey roots. Customer service was very friendly, but ultimately unable to make BLACK hair dye.
