This is my 3rd order with esalon and am very happy with each of my orders. I've recently went with a red tint to my color and am over the moon with the results.
I've enjoyed eSalon custom hair color for over a year and recently decided to make a change in my color. I sent a short, simple email to my colorist explaining what I'd like to have. It started out a little later than I liked right after the application( more on the light side of Auburn) and turned into a really nice coppery color with a little bit of goldthe next day. Good job. The color also seems to last nicely and you were very responsive to my previous comments to change my color. Thank you
I had quite a bit of grey that had grown out and this worked great!! I had never colored my own hair prior to this. This was simple and the instructions were clear. Will definitely do again!!
My color was spot on; exactly what I wanted. Kudos to my colorist! Application was easy. I appreciated the tools that came with my original order. The clips, brush, and bowl really were quite helpful for my sister who applied the product to my hair.
I love my eSalon haircolor. Working with a colorist, I have just the right color now. I love that it comes to me when I need it. I don't have to remember the right brand or haircolor because it's already been ordered. The color suits me and I love it!

Before I colored I decided to get my hair cut and took my esalon kit with me to show my stylist. She said that as long as she was free and I had the kit with me why don't we just go ahead and apply it. She was very impressed with the color, said it was true to the name 'warm beige' and she liked the shampoo that came with it as well. All in all she was impressed with all of it and so was I.
The color was prefect, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. My husband didn't even know that I had colored my hair! A great product. I so happy I found eSalon!
I enjoyed my experience trying eSalon color. The color match was spot on and exactly what I hoped. I really enjoyed the convenience of knowing the box would arrive when I needed it. I also loved the gloves - they were luxurious! All in all, I recommend!
Today is Monday, August 29, 2016 and i am extremely satisfied and happy with the way my color turned out.
When my husband got home from work, walked in the house, his first words, "your hair looks nice I knew you could do it." He has been telling me for a long time that I could do my own hair. Well, thanks to eSalon I can now do my own hair color at home. I always went to the salon for my color because I did not feel comfortable buying a box off the shelf at the store. eSalon solved that problem for me with a customize color just for me. The color was better than what I expected. I wanted a dark color with Auburn shades. The color was perfect. I absolutely love it! My hair is so shiny and healthy looking too.
I have used various brands and types of hair color in my time as well as professional coloring and I cannot begin to say how impressed I was with this product. From the customization process to the packaging, everything feels personalized and fail-proof. And let's talk about the color itself: it was easy, effective, and the color was well-distributed in my hair and looked just as good as a single process color at the salon for a fraction of the price. If you are honest on the questionnaire and follow the directions as provided, I feel confident you can have a similar experience. I was planning on simply trying it for the reduced price of a first time customer, but I am sold. I will eagerly be waiting for my next shipment!
I have been having my hair colored at a salon for the past 30 years so I was hesitant and a bit skeptical about ordering color on line. Because I am trying to stay within a budget, I thought I would give eSalon customer color a shot. Was not disappointed! The instructions were thorough, color easy to apply, the color was spot on, excellent cover of gray and long lasting. Will definitely continue to order from eSalon.

I was so pleased with the color I chose! That Dark Chocolate was a HIT!!!!! I loved it and my friends and family loved it too! I got tons of compliments! So this time I can save some of the product aside without mixing it, that way I have some left to do root touch ups between coloring. I love how easy eSalon is! I was worried about how my hair would look after trying this, but they did such a great job. MY COLOR IS PERFECT!!!!! This is a review of my NEW eSalon color! I have been using eSalon since 2013 ....and wouldn't dream of spending hours and $$$ to a high-end, brick and mortar salon.
I am THRILLED that the colorist (Courtney) took my written requests; and previous hair color photos... into serious consideration. She called me as well, we spoke for approx 10 minutes or more. She listened, gave me specific directions... then re-formulated my color and added the complimentary gloss color. I will be adding that to my order from now on! I ABSOLUTELY could not have gotten a BETTER COLOR AT ANY HIGH-END SALON! I am VERY PLEASED and HIGHLY recommend eSalon.
Being a natural redhead it has been very difficult to duplicate my color as I age... and my hair goes more and more WHITE gray, plus the texture changes, etc. While at the same time I needed to start to change the original red a bit, but I still wanted to be an Age-Appropriate redhead! (I guess only redheads would understand this issue)
My ONLY frustration, and I think this is due to my age ...and coarseness of my hair -plus a few hours in the sun here and there. I colored it just 3 weeks ago- and the hairline is starting to lighten a lot. However, it is lightening naturally, NOT with a color line stripe, which is great!
I do have the purple (color enhancing treatment) that I put in my hair for 2-3 minutes while in the shower. I recommend this as well. The bottle lasts a long long time and does not need to be purchased with each order.
Side Note
My hair products of choice beyond that are LIVING PROOF which I get on sephora- the best hair products I have ever used - both when I wear it curly (natural) or straight!

I was nervous about dying my hair myself, but everything I needed was sent, and I found the instructions easy to follow. The consistency of the product was thick enough that it didn't drip or run and the process was quick and straightforward. The only comment I would make is that the conditioner left my hair very greasy and heavy so that after 24 hours I just had to wash my hair again. However my hair is in beautiful condition so I'm sure it did it good.
I asked for a brighter red, an adjustment from my previous color, and it was spot on! I received so many complements after I colored my hair. It was perfect. You have a customer for life!
Covers gray completely. Leaves hair very soft and shiny. Easy to use. First at home hair color I have ever used. Will not go back to salon again. Love it.
For my first try on choosing a color and trying to match it to my natural color, it worked out FABULOUS. I didn't want a drastic change nor look like I am coloring my hair. I wanted something that matched pretty close to my natural color and cover my gray hairs. By covering my gray it looks like I have natural highlights rather than professionally done highlights. The color worked GREAT! I LOVE IT!
My hair-stylist that I've been going to for 20+ years retired :( He would cut and color my hair for no more than $40 (I know right?!?!). I cried... literally. I had read about Esalon in a magazine and thought I'd give it a try. I was intimidated at first and put it off as long as I could because I had never colored my own hair before. It turned out terrific!!! The instructions were amazing so you can't screw it up!!! Saves me sooooo much $$$!!! $24.95 (w/shipping) and my cut is $22 for a grand total of $46.95 (w/o tip). Way better than $100 +!!! Kudos to my awesome colorist Emily M.!!! You can also choose your delivery schedule based on your needs!!! I would recommend the Professional Kit and Protective Cape with your first order. A++++ for Esalon!!!
This was the first purchase and coloring with eSalon and I am completely satisfied with the color. It definitely did not look like a bottle coloring. I love it!
I have to admit, I was nervous as could be, thought it would be too black and it wasn't. A picture of the color Chocolate is on my account. Go look.
I followed the instructions to the letter, and it covered the entire hair and my hair was shoulder length. I was able to saturate the entire hair strands on my head and I used a qtip to do my eyebrows. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, they work if you ask me. I'm 57 and graying a good deal. I'm curious to see how long it last. I loved it thank you again!

I tried Esalon hoping it would be a better product than the store bought boxes I had previously been using. I AM GLAD I GAMBLED BECAUSE IT IS SO MUCH BETTER!!. My hair has a shine and color that it never got with the other coloring. I love the leave in conditioner and the love tint I purchased also. The quality shows when my hair is finished.
So glad I finally decided to order it. My experience at salon were not great and really expensive. I love my new color by E Salon. I have highlights from just one bottle! Its exactly what I wanted and was only $10!
E-Salon is one of the best hair decisions that I have made! The color is natural and flattering. It colors my gray very well. And possibly the best feature is that it is gentle and does not damage my hair as the over-the-counter permanent coloring products did. Salon coloring was usually great if I could get in with the same colorist. But the price was about five times as much every six weeks and the result with a different colorist could sometimes make me want to wear a hat for six weeks! I couldn't be happier with the product! I'm hooked for life!!!
I was very pleased with the hair dye. Colour was spot on. Easley to apply, quick to set, after dye hair treatment made my hair so soft. Would recommend this firm to everyone.
I had colored my hair first with one of the custom made products from your salon. As most of my hair was gray, I was afraid I wasn't going to leave it on long enough for it to take as my hair may have been resistant. It came out too red and it was my own fault. However, Emily was gracious enough to have me try another darker color after sending a picture, and now I love it, as I followed the directions and wasn't that nervous! Thank you for being such a responsible company, and I highly recommended esalon to two of my friends.
I was looking for something to cover my roots till I could get back into town to have my hairdresser "fix me up", first I would like to say how nice the kit was, attention to detail, second...my Husband did the touch up for me and found it easy to use , third ....my Hairdresser was impressed with the 'perfect" color match, will be re-ordering !

I tried esalon for the first time tonight and I am totally sold on the product. I am in my late 30s so gray roots are being seen more frequently now and I can't afford to go to the salon every 3-4 weeks to get my roots done.
I submitted a recent picture with ugly gray roots and one that was what I wanted it to look like. The colorist Jennifer had to tweak it a bit to match (compared to what said I wanted) & she did a great job matching it to my current hair color.
My 8 year old had to help with my back underneath roots and she did a great job. I was really nervous waiting while it was being processed, but my fears went away when my daughter said she didn't see any more white/gray once I rinsed it all out!
We did have to go over some spots but it will get better with practice and I am sold!
I am very happy with my hair color adjustment. Everyone is saying it looks so natural, like when I was younger! Thank you so much to the experts.

After explaining everything I was looking for I got exactly the color I wanted and it looks great! Also I love all the stuff that comes with the hair color (the stain remover wipes are awesome!)
Was a little hesitant to use at first as it was unknown products and unfamiliar way of purchasing hair colour. Tried it yesterday and am blown away how good it is. 100% grey coverage (which I have never achieved from store bought hair colours), easy to apply and an absolutely beautiful colour.
Now I've had such great results I will be telling my friends to try it- and will definitely be purchasing again for myself. Fantastic product.
I started buying this product a few months back and love it, it covers my grey hair better than any other brand and even better than the salon products. It's very easy and quick to apply, and does not leave any strong chemical smells instead leaves my hair very soft and shine. I'll continue buying it until I decide not to cover my grey hair anymore.
At first I felt that there were too many steps, but it was easy and quick. I appreciated all the extras that came with the color, and I especially liked the after-color shampoo.
The title says it all. I have been using esalon for years and it is simply great. It gives fantastic color, always comes when you need it, and if you need to make an adjustment the employees are happy to help you. Definitely better than anything else I've tried- different brands and companies make guesswork for color, but here it's formulated to exactly what you want and the color specialists can help you tweak it until it's what you like best. My friends, coworkers, and even family constantly forget that I dye my hair and they can't believe it when I tell them- that's how natural and perfect my color formula is for me.

My first custom color on my virgin hair, barely took! 😢 So I sent a message and a photo and my colorist was able to match it spot on! They also sent me a complimentary glaze for my ends, but since the color didn't take on the first round, I wanted to ensure the vibrancy throughout and just used my hair color ONLY!
