I was afraid to try because I’ve had some bad box experiences! The idea of this being custom was neat so I gave it a go. SO GLAD! I’ve gotten so many compliments on this color and how natural it looks. Red seems to fade quickly but this is holding its own really well!
When I first saw the color on top of my wet head I absolutely panicked. Then shampooed, conditioned, and was prepared to run to the drugstore in the middle of the night!. Much to my amazement the color was Beautiful! Your colorist determined that a lighter shade was needed and sent that. I am in love with your product and the new me. I am so impressed with this product. I cannot believe that they were able to match....and I mean an exact match....to my real hair colour from some photos. It is affordable, better quality than what I had previously purchased and I'd argue just the same as the product my "old" hairstylist used on my hair. It has saved me a fortune. I was paying roughly $150 Cda per treatment and this was done roughly 5-6 weeks so I'd estimate $1100 per year.
And, the instructions and care and attention to all the little details have made me far less stressed about colouring my own hair. I like the "how to" articles because they help a lot. The kit is great - love the stain guard, the shampoo, the conditioner AND the 2 sets of gloves - thank you!
My only suggestion would be making the glove's sleeves (if that makes any sense) a little bit longer because I'm abit useless and end up getting colouring on my lower arms...thank GOD for the stain remover :)

I will never go back to store bought color in a box! I love to change up my color frequently and my colorist always gets it right! Each color is unique for me. If I want to adjust the shade, I can call eSalon and talk to someone who will coach me through what I like and what I want to change. Or, I can send my colorist a message and/or a photo and I know that someone will read my message and make the appropriate adjustments, and quickly! I have confidence that my colorist hears me and takes my request into account when mixing my color. Love eSalon and I recommend it to everyone!
My gray hairs around the face are very stubborn! Hair stylists are usually unable to cover them. However, eSalon colorants covered them beautifully. The color that was sent to me looks so natural, I love it.

I was amazed at my results from using eSalon hair color, a bit skeptical at first, but after the first time, I just couldn't be happier. The color lasts longer than store brands and doesn't fade. It's nice to know that if I need an adjustment that my colorist looks at my photo and gives me the expert advice that I need.

I forewent the recommended strand test because I was eager for any change, and decided to simply “go for it.” This worked out for me, because I adore the shades of red and mahogany in my hair - however, people who want to be more certain of their color would definitely want to take that step.
The customer service team is great, and my stylist Stephanos was very courteous and helpful throughout the process. He even checked specifically with his supervisor to ensure he was giving me accurate information when assuring me eSalon does not test their products on animals. I will be using eSalon for my home-dye needs from here on out.
Still trying to find my perfect color, but so far this product has been very easy to use, the colorist have been responsive, and each box has everything I need: gloves, shampoo/conditioner, anti-stain towel (which I love!).
Since 50 is right around the corner, these grey hairs are taking over and its time to give them the boot! I received my hair color kit from eSalon; an online site that makes a custom hair color just for you. I was sooo excited to try it as the color contains (according to my eSalon profile); medium brown, copper and VIOLET!😮💜😍 now I love VIOLET but wasn't sure if I should be scared or thrilled to have it on my hair. *
The kit has EVERYTHING you'll need. You get your custom color (of course) but you also get two little goodie boxes. One box contains TWO pairs of GOOD gloves. I'm in the dental field...i hate those typical "hair color gloves" and know a good glove. But two pairs? Awesome. No more rinsing and trying to get wet gloves back on your hands. In the other box you receive a pouch of stain guard, a large, folded wipe of stain remover, a healthy sized foil pouch containing color- locking shampoo and conditioner. 👍 *
The process was very easy. The product, if you are someone who colors your hair at home like me, it's much thinner than I expected. It flows easily but be careful to keep it pointed away from your eyes. It's thin! I followed directions and was completely done in 28min from start to final rinse. Let me tell you, you'll love the thinner consistency when rinsing as it rinses out quickly and super easy. *
As for the color. I LOVE it!😙 I might request more copper and a touch more violet on my next round. The color definately changes in different lights but they're all great! I'm anxious to see how long the greys stay covered. With OTC coloring kits, they sneak back within 3 or so weeks. *
Have you tried this product? Heard of this product? I went online and got $10 off just going on their site, which brought the price down to $10. Shipping was $7. I ordered it on the 16th and received it on the 20th. I did pay $2 for expedited shipping. Worth it? Yes! When I went looking for hair color in the stores the ones I typically buy are $10.
I am in love with the color you have chosen. It leavea my hair the perfect color, leaves a shine and my haur does not feel dry or brittle after use. My hair does not look or feel dry and dull. Thank you, you will forever be my go to for part of my hair care.

The custom hair color is far better than any hair coloring product I have ever used either at home or in the salon. I am constantly getting compliments about my color. People can’t believe it was done at home. My hair is shinier and healthier than it has been in years. Certainly not the hair of a 60 yr old more like that of a 20 yr old.
this color lasted over 4 months, it was incredible. the color matched my natural hair color and made my hair super soft, and healthy. to keep my color in longer i’m using the tinted love product and this color will last me forever!! love love love it

The color is perfect and it lasts for around six weeks. It has dimension and keeps my hair FAR away from that dreaded "shoe polish color". Thansks so much!!
I received my first shipment and was impressed immediately with the packaging. It came in a nice box not at all like what you buy in the store. I ordered the cape and medium brown hair color. I like the color, it seems to match what my hair dresser uses. It's worth noting that this color isn't as smelly as the boxed color I have used. I'm very pleased with the results.

I colored my hair with your product for the first time last week. Today I just got back from my regular hair salon. I was just getting a cut. The first thing my stylist said when I sat down in the chair was “WOW! Who did your color? I thought you always did it yourself?” I told her I got the color from the eSalon and explained to her what it was. She was very impressed with the color as am I.
I had bleached...and bleached...and bleached my hair. I knew coloring it again was going to be tricky. But the custom instructions that came with the color (after the colorist went to great lengths to talk to me first) were perfect!! The color is wonderful and looks natural.
The color I have been receiving from eSalon looks so natural. So much better than any other product I've used at home. I have asked for it to lightened a bit to better suit my age. Great Color !
Great service from the stylist who looked at my picture and suggested I go with a lighter shade. Color is easy to apply, great quality, inexpensive and it saves me a least 2 hours over going to a professional salon. Directions are easy to follow and I love that I receive color guard, shampoo, conditioner and rubber gloves with my order.
I started using E salon a couple years ago. About a year and a half ago I went to my hairdresser and she asked what are you using to color your hair I said why is it bad LOL she said no it’s great! She asked me how much I pay for it I told her and she said there’s no way I could color your hair for that price! So now I bring my E salon color in to her and she uses that to color my hair. It’s a great match and looks like my natural hair color before grays came in. I just love it!
My hair results were amazing. It did come out a little darker than what I wanted but I still really love it and you can see the true color in the sunlight which is the shade of brown I wanted for myself! Awesome job esalon!

I’m truly amazed at the salon quality this product has. I had my doubts but have tried every brand out there and nothing compares to how satisfied I was with this.
I have used this product 3 times and can tell you that it is the best hair color ever. I used to pay my hairdresser to do my color. Never again! This color lasts 3-4 weeks longer. It makes my hair feel great and covers my gray! Even my hairdresser tells me to keep on using it! You will love the results. I definitely recommend eSalon to anyone!
This is my second go around with eSalon custom hair color, on my first try I had chosen a color I thought I wanted (reddish light brown- dyed over virgin/babylights blonde) and don't get me wrong... the color was gorgeous, but I decided I wanted it to be more on the orange-y/red side. I submitted my request for the tweak on my custom formulation and it turned out perfect! I think I am going to be an eSalon customer for a long time.

I have possibly used almost every home colour on the market regardless of price... I decided to give eSalon ago because there wasn't much left to choose from and my budget doesn't suit salon prices.
When I first purchased it I was skeptical over price as it is a little high but still affordable and when it arrived I thought I had bought a science kit but after reading the really easy instructions it was crystal clear what I needed to do.
This set is my roots and its the first one that has given me roots that match the rest of my hair. also the first place I can actually find out how I can lighten my hair over time without the whole stripping saga as that also ruined my hair a few years back - Im glad that grew out!
If you are in two minds over trying eSalon I personally would just give it ago the first time they offer so much money off why wouldnt you try it - yes it is subscription but if you dont want next months or how ever you have made the frequency you can skip it or cancel altogether (which is what I did then signed back up two weeks later!)
My hair feels amazing after using eSalon and not just for the first wash like most home colours my hair feels like it has been conditioned instead of coloured. The colour is not just one colour it really does look natural and multi dimensional and its all the little extras that they think of like a sachet of jelly to ensure you dont get colour all over your hairline and the wipe (I need to know what wipes they are!!!) which are amazing and take colour off everything so easy!!! I always get my hands looking like Ive not even used gloves and the wipe literally takes it off in seconds even if Ive washed my hands!! The gloves most home colours are one set of silly gloves that snap, burst or dont fit but eSalons are really amazing quality and even get TWO pairs one to put the colour on and one to take the colour off smart yet simple thinking!

My hair had been dyed a pretty bright blonde for most of 2017, I was looking for something new and exciting by the time I found out about eSalon. I wanted to try a light brown, red mix because I feel like my hair looks better in browns and blacks. The questionnaire was pretty simple and went ahead with my order! After it arrived I went right away to starting the dying process. My color turned out AWESOME even though it wasn't exactly what I thought. BUT that's only because my hair had SO much blonde in it, I feel like the next time I use the color it will really show what it is supposed to be. I still felt like the color was beautiful because it basically turned into this rose gold/light brown! I loved it and still do as the color is starting to fade. The one I had ordered is a demi-permanent, but it doesn't bother me much because I only wash my hair every few days. Either way, this company is great! The pricing is awesome! My colorist did a great job with the dye, she even contacted me to make sure it's what I wanted to do since my hair was so light to start with. I'll definitely be ordering again!
Absolutely love my hair color!! It covered my grays, and it looks natural! I have really dark brown hair, and a lot of times my color comes out looking black and unnatural, but not this time!!
