I love my new color! So soft and refreshed! I was so mad when the drug store and major markets stopped selling my brand of haircolor, thought I would try esalon; I couldn't be more satisfied with the ease and color that I got! Will definatly be ordering again prior to my wedding in September
Takes all the hassel out of coloring one's own hair. Excellent quailty product, delivered right to my door, exactly when I need it. No shopping and hoping that what you want is in stock. Easy, no mess applucation. Great, lasting color. Best customer service I've encountered. So easy to speak with your actual colorist if you need to... and they are so polite! Excellent overall value!!!
This isn't the first delivery and I'm still very pleased with eSalon's service. Convenient, easy to do instructions takes the chore out of coloring your hair. Comes with everything you need.
Good colour options and easy to follow instructions on how to apply. Came beautifully packaged and loved all the personalised notes, bottles etc. arrived quickly and my hair looks great ;)
LOVE the color and the way that it looks. Intstructions were easy to follow and my hair felt healthy after the process was complete. I was planning on canceling my subscription after one use to get the initial offer, but I loved it so much I am sticking with it!
I just fill in my roots because I get grey about every 2 weeks;-( it is so convenient to just put the color on while I cook dinner or make lunches... It fits my fast paced lifestyle and Is better than any professional single process color I have ever had! Edit: I wrote the previous review in 2016 . 2019 I love this product and company just as much!
After years of using over the counter products or going to a salon, eSalon came to my mailbox. I am a young 70 yr. old born a Redhead. eSalon gave me back the red color I use to be. Thank you eSalon so very much!!
My new formulation definitely delivered better color. It leaves the hair soft and shiny. No damage. My only concern is how long it will last. My last formula did not deliver lasting color so I have hopes the new one will. Time will tell!
I have been using this product for several years and have never been disappointed. I consistently get compliments on my hair color. With practice the application is easy. I love the time and money it saves me compared to going to a salon.
Initially I was skeptical about ordering hair color online. I have about 10% course grey hair and 90% dark brown. The formula that was blended for me was perfect.!! The grey looks like subtle highlights, which is the results I wanted. My hair is in great condition because of the low peroxide and wonderful shampoo and conditioner. Lastly, the product does not have a strong lingering chemical smell. Thank you!!

I have enjoyed my eSalon color very much! I have been red for a number of years now, but I have come to the realization that it’s time for me to go back to blonde! I happened to come across eSalon while browsing on my computer last week. I've been coloring my hair for the past 50 years and was curious about this site. I had my hair professionally colored last year and was not impressed - especially with the $80 price tag. So, when I saw this site I was very interested. Imagine a hair salon-quality service delivered right to my door! I ordered my first kit for $10 and it arrived on time and in good shape. I was very impressed with the personalization of the kit. I read a bunch of one-star reviews and quite a few 4-5 star reviews and had questions which were answered by eSalon stylists (Kaelin and Sarah). Their answers were contradictory (cream vs gel-based color formula) and it was confirmed to me that they are now selling a cream-based formula as their gel-based formula was not well-received due to reports of sticky residue in the hair after coloring (as a result of not following directions properly). In my kit, the directions told me to color my hair and then take the leftover product, mix it with water and then massage "vigorously" into my scalp for 2-3 minutes, rinse thoroughly, shampoo and then condition. The product I received was cream-based and not gel-based, and the directions provided with my kit were incorrect. I think the gel-based formula requires the additional step of vigorous massaging and shampooing, not the cream-based. So, I emailed both Sarah and Kaelin asking what I should do and, since it's July 4th today, decided to take the plunge and color my hair without my answer. I applied the color, waited 25 minutes, rinsed thoroughly with warm water and then conditioned. I tried mixing the leftover product with water (in the plastic bottle), applying to my scalp and rubbing it in but decided it was unnecessary & stopped massaging after about 20 seconds. The color is WONDERFUL and hair is soft. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Roots and ends actually are the same color for once!! Great all over coverage and I absolutely love this shade! Amazing. Love my color.
I've been using since January and I love how they adjust the color month to month at my request and until its perfect!! Only took a couple minor adjustments to get exactly what I want!!! Love it!
Always had trouble colouring my grey with esalon i have been blown away with the results colour is great instructions are great just an all round great product would recommend to everyone!!!!! FANTASTIC!!!!
I received my color kit about 3 weeks ago and finally got to coloring my hair yesterday. I used the brush method. It took a little bit of time to get comfortable doing it, but when I did things went easier. I absolutely love the color and how it makes my hair shine. I can't wait to see how my highlights look. No more color at my hair stylist.

I'm getting the dreaded gray hairs!! Several years of using store brand box color the gray came through sooner and sooner each color. I decided to try esalon hoping for longer lasting coverage. Not only do I love the longer lasting coverage but the color is amazing.
I loved the entire presentation of the product. The amount of color and developer was double the amount you get in a typical boxed color. The addition of shampoo and conditioner as well as two sets of gloves, and stain remover and protection for skin was above and beyond. I recommend this service wholeheartedly. The attractive box with your name on it - with complete directions and management made the experience as exceptional as you would LIKE to have had your salon experience to be.
I highly recommend Esalon. This was the first time I colored my own hair and couldn’t afford salon prices. The color was wonderful, the individualized instructions made it soo easy, and this is the FIRST time all my hard to color grey hair finally were colored. Salons could never get all my grey hair to color. Thank you esalon!!!!
This is the best hair colour I have ever used. I have had so many compliments and comments about my hair since I started using eSalon. The quality is top notch.
Loved it! The color is great. It took really well and blended well. It took me awhile to apply the color to my roots because I am not used to doing it, I was a little slow, but I should get better with time. I loved the stain guard. After I got out of the shower, the color stains were completely gone. They just washed off right in the shower. I was afraid I would not have enough shampoo, but I had plenty. It was so creamy and lathered so well. I had enough conditioner as well but I could have used a little more. But, I always go a little heavy on conditioner than probably the average person. I am very pleased with my hair products and my hair color Is gorgeous I think these products are well worth my time money and will be reordering. Thank you.
At my first used I like it because no strong smell and the colors can cover my gray hair pretty good.
At my fourth time after change the color, I love my new color very much.

I was enamored with the kit and how easy it was to use. I loved that my custom color was a little different for my roots vs my previously colored hair - NO harsh lines completely well-blended color. I've had salons give me the root line - NOT this time! It's absolutely gorgeous, I am constantly complimented on the color. Perfect 10/10 job by my stylist.
While I very much enjoy their service and hair color, I am also impressed with how much care and attention are put into while packaging. Thank you so much!!

Just colored my hair for 2nd time using a WONDERFUL product FROM ESALON.COM. I did adjust 1) time between (because the 1st color lasted longer due to using their Classic Color Care Shampoo & Volume Color Care Conditioner - well worth the cost!!! before within a week or two of coloring with store kits or even at a great salon my hair felt dry and I was using a very expensive over the counter conditioner!! and 2) the color - admittedly sending my younger photo and present day photo they thought it best to start with more of a strawberry blonde on the first kit. I did like it very much but still wanted something a little more RED like my youth so I asked them to make it a little darker. So changed it to less blonde with a copper mahogany added. I LOVE IT!
I did my first color this weekend. I love that my colorist listened to exactly what I wanted for my hair. Cant wait to highlight to see how that comes out. As a former hairdresser I am more than pleased with these products!!!!😁

This is my first time using eSalon and I love it! I’ve been coloring my own hair using traditional box color and was very unhappy. My hair was growing out in three different colors. It never got my roots and ends to match, and going to a salon is so expensive...so after seeing eSalon on Pinterest, I decided to give it a try. I am so happy. The instructions are easy to follow, the color didn’t burn my skin, and the kit has everything I needed. The color has turned out perfectly. It looks like I had it done in a salon. Will be using this product from now on. Love it!!

I love love love these kits. Super easy to ise and I love the stain guard & remover that comes with it each time. The gloves are much better quality than other at home coloring kits. The color I end up with is gorgeous, lasts much longer that said other kits, and somehow leaves my hair feeling healthier than before.
I love my custom color. I was amazed how close the color is to my natural color. I answered a few questions than explained what I wanted and didn't want. Viola! Perfect! Gorgeous color with shine and dimension.

I got my first color kit in the mail. The packaging was so pretty and personalized with my name which I thought was a really nice touch. I liked the little sticker you get with the directions so you can stick them on your mirror while you color. The directions were step by step, not complicated and easy to follow.
A few days later I went to my hair stylist for a trim. She thought I had my color done by someone else (she's been coloring my hair for years). She thought it looked great and I told her it was eSalon - she was really impressed!
Waiting for my second box of color - can't wait!
