First, I love the way the kit came with everything I'd need in the neatly packed box. It was easy to use and the colour has come out beautifully! It looks very natural, with highs and lows in it. It's still a bit darker closer to my head but that makes it look natural. It will be interesting to see how it fades and grows out in the coming weeks. It did take quite a while to get to me in Canada, but it was also over the holidays so that might be why. I had to push off my next delivery but I do like how easy it is to customize the timing of the delivery. Oh and the shampoo/conditioner feels divine...I might buy more. I'm very glad I tried this, so far it has been worth it.

I was dubious about “boxed” hair color but my sister used this and her hair looked gorgeous. So I made the leap a few months ago. My color was perfect and my hair was so shiny! Yvette was my colorist and did a great job. Not only did the color come out perfectly but it completely matches my extensions as requested. I will never buy a box again. I also have a hard time getting a hairdresser to color my hair red and now I don't have to worry about that anymore either. Very happy with the results.

I have received several shipments and I couldn't be more pleased. The color is perfect and it covers my gray much better than the store brands. It is a little pricier than I would typically choose to spend but the quality is so great I feel it is more than worth the price

At first I was hesitant to even try it but then I gave in and I am so glad I did. I got the color I wanted and with all the supplies readily available it was such an easy apply it was astonishing! I am so glad I am using this color process and will continue to use it and spread the word about how great it is...oh and the most important thing...my hair is in great condition because of it! It’s soft, shines like I was 18 and I get so many comments on my hair color that I have totally decided this is it for me! Now if I could only find a stylist as great!

I love esalon! Genius concept and much cheaper than going to a regular salon. My hair dyes very easily, so that is helpful, but I get compliments on the tones of golden brown all the time. It also 100% covered my greys. Thank you!

I've been a super light blonde for years and am really burned out on it. Ready for color but not willing to spend $120 on hair color every few weeks. I ordered a dark golden mahogany blonde. eSalon reviewed and with my ok lightened the shade. I'm still looking for my perfect shade but so impressed with the response and care from eSalon! I like that they tell you what colours is in your order and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Nice touch including my name on the colour bottle, etc. Also really good that they do a follow-up to make sure you're happy and if there's anything not quite right they'll adapt the colour for the next delivery. Loved the colour but agreed a tweak to my next batch. Attention to detail and excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

I had a lot of dark root growth with a lot of gray to cover too, and I completely changed my previous hair color to this new color, and it came out PERFECT!!! The kit came with a roots color and an ends color process. This was new to me, but I followed the instructions to a T, and although it took longer than I expected, the entire process was so easy! I have been dyeing my hair from a box every 4 weeks since I can remember, so I am familiar with the self dye situation and coordination that it takes, which was definitely necessary experience for my first e-salon trial. Needless to say, I am so happy with how my hair turned out, I refuse to go back to on-the-shelf box dye!

I only ordered this because I got a free first order and I knew it would save me money compared to buying at Sally’s. I was a little nervous about trying it because I hadn’t heard of eSalon before. I decided to give it a try anyways and was pleasantly surprised! The packaging was super cute and came with everything I needed and more (extra bottle, shampoo, conditioner, gloves, etc.). The hair dye itself is exactly what I wanted and has lasted longer than other brands. My hair also felt great after dying it. I have never been someone to sign up for automatic shipping, but eSalon got me! I signed up to receive a package every 7 weeks.
Every time I have used either home dyes or even gone to the salon my hair always looked dry and felt dry and it would just frizz out my curls but with e-salon I have smoother silkier hair after dying my hair. The application process made it go faster and was a lot more fun with full, complete coverage.
The directions were very easy to use. You will want some help for the step of adding water to left over dye and rinsing your hair out. After using the dye, my hair felt very soft and had very little dye smell! I would highly recommend

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this kit! I had more than enough product to cover my long hair and its felt healthy and nourished since application.
Perfect match! This is the perfect color, rich and true to my natural color which is usually hard to find. I love that my hair keeps a rich color between root touch ups. I know it is gentle on my hair because my hair's overall condition has improved since I started using eSalon. Thank you!

I asked for a slight change in my color to more beige and Danielle did a fantastic job. The color is perfect. The product does not strip a perm I have in my hair since it is so thin and covers the gray best of anything I have ever used. Love it, Love it, Love it.
I was really worried that I wouldn’t select the right color or that it might be complicated to do my own hair color. However, it is the perfect color and it was not difficult to do at all. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
I've been coloring my hair for over 30 years. I've tried pretty much everything. This color is exactly what I was looking for. So easy to use and delivered right to my door on MY schedule. My colourist is great at making subtle changes to my personal color. I've been so happy with my results. Even my hairstylist has complimented me on my color!
What can I say; when even my French hair stylist is impressed with the colour, I went in for a hair cut and she was all compliments so I don’t think I have anything to add! The finish is so pretty and I get so many faltering comments! It’s easy to apply and doesn’t smell. And the styling products are of good quality and don’t weigh the hair! Overall I am a very happy customer who is here to stay ! 🥰

A friend at work told me about trying this new hair color. I was retiring so I just thought it looks great on her but I’m growing out my gray. Fast forward about 5 years. I have tried Beauty store color and it was a step up from box hair dye. But being a redhead the color tends to fade fast and I could never find MY original hair color until now. The custom color set is AMAZING. The questions upon setting up my profile allowed me to really narrow down the color I was looking for. Its beautiful and long lasting.

Thank you ESalon! When I set up my profile, I picked a darker shade of brown and sent pictures of my current hair color. Your experts suggested that I go with a lighter brown and it has been a great color for me.

I was so impressed with the outcome of my order! My mom and her friend have used eSalon for a while and their hair color always looks great so I thought I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did! I’ve always bought my own color from Sally’s and I never could get it to turn out quite right. I’ve had it done professionally once but that broke the bank and even though I had great results, I never went back. I can honestly say that I’m sticking with eSalon from now on! I was hesitant at first because my hair ALWAYS pulls a red tint, no matter what color I try but this time I didn’t fight my natural redness and reluctantly, I just went for it. I tried the mahogany and the results were amazing, my hair was so soft and shiny and the color was perfect! I wasn’t left feeling like my hair was too red, I had the perfect combination of brown and red tones! I’ve had so many compliments on my color and for the price, people are always shocked, myself included! Not to mention, the kits are the cutest!! I love how everything is personalized and it comes with everything you need!

My colorist is great but I would spend over two hours in the salon from start to finish to apply color to my roots every 5 to 6 weeks. Over the past 3 years I have spent thousands of dollars. After using e.salon, I will never go to my colorist again to color my roots. This product not only saves tons of money but more importantly I can apply this color at home and save hours of time which is more important to me at this point in my life. Thank you so much,

The quality of the colours are just fantastic. I had two red tones of colours before going back to a dark brown and I am just amazed at how beautiful the result is even with an addition of the three in the course of 9 months. I have become a show off thanks to eSalon colours ;)
