I received my first kit March. I loved it. Everything you need to color your hair is included in the kit. My sister and I read all the instructions and she put it in my hair. They thought of everything, including Vaseline to put on the hair line at forehead and around. My stylist never did that!! I go, faithfully, to the salon every 5 weeks for a color. I spend a minimum of $100 and over 2 hours every time. Like a lot of people, I was searching options for hair color during salon closures and ran across eSalon. The process was fast & easy. My estylist did change the color I initially selected, but their choice was perfect. The instructions were easy to follow. (I used my own judgement & modified very slightly based on where my grays were showing.) The whole process took me 45 minutes and, since I was at home, I could spend the time as I wanted. The color turned out fabulously. I, seriously, cannot tell a difference from my salon. The only thing I didn't like was that my hair felt very fly-aways (noticeably / almost annoyingly) for several days after. Even after my salon re-opens, I plan to change my habits: only see my stylist every 10 weeks and do this at the halfway point. The time and money savings is just too good to ignore.
This is my first time DIY'g my own hair color. My husband helped me with the back, but with practice I'm sure I could perfect totally doing it myself. My hair feels soft & great and it's as good as or better than my $170 at the salon!! I am going to try highlights next go-round.
I have used other home coloring systems that I purchased online however, this kit is the very best I have evert used. I honestly think it is every bit as good as the salon. I have typically getting my hair colored by a stylist. Due to Covid-19, I decided to give this a try. I have long, thick hair and had plenty of product. The instructions were easy to follow. I also love the personalized packaging and name of the colorist who put it all together. I HIGHLY recommend!! Escalon has surpassed my expectations and, the price is very reasonable.

Having reached my late 50s and always had a hairdresser colour my hair for me I was rather nervous doing it myself but eSalon were just brilliant and so helpful I need not have worried. The colour they sent was perfect!
I have never colored my own hair before. My hairstylist has been doing it for me for the last 35 years. With beauty shops closed due to Covid-19, I was not sure how I was going to hide my greys while in quarantine. I read about eSalon online and thought I would give it a try. I have been coloring my hair for many years. Esalon has been the best choice for my hair. I get a lot of complements from friends and strangers. I can't think of ever using anything else.
I came to esalon in sheer desperation; with the coronavirus lockdown having just been extended, my roots were showing almost an inch of grey and had to be dealt with. I'd never tried DIY anything with my hair before, but they made everything about it easy: ordering was a snap, shipping was quick, and the kit held everything I needed except hair clips. Instructions couldn't have been simpler, thank goodness! I'm pleased with everything about my experience, and happy to recommend esalon without reservation!

Really well packaged and a lovely surprise when I opened it. My own named hair colour and everything I needed to colour my hair. The instructions were really simple to follow and if you follow them exactly you’ll get wonderful coloured hair.
Not being able to get to my hair salon, I turned to E salon. I was a little nervous thinking I was going to come out with green hair, but it turned out great. The ease of using it and the color were better than I expected. I am a happy customer.

This shade is closer to the natural color of my hair... albeit when I was younger. I inherited my parents gray genes and began graying in my 30's. What I especially love about eSalon is the color they use is good for my hair. After coloring the condition of my hair is better than before I colored it.
eSalon is a life saver now that my salon is closed due to COVID-19. I may even considering coloring my own hair on a permanent basis and go to the salon for a special event which is a rarity. Thank you eSalon!
Tried E Salon for the first time. Was a little apprehensive about trying something new on my hair. Had been getting my color and developer from Sally’s Beauty Supply and thought I was pleased with my hair, until I tried E Salon. I have received so many compliments on my hair color and I noticed right after I blow dried it after coloring it how shiny it was, not dull. The texture of my hair after coloring is also a lot nicer. So happy that I tried E Salon. It makes my day start out so much better feeling good about the way my hair looks ( even though it needs cutting!)
One of the only good thing to come out of the Corona. My root color was spot on- and I feel like my resistant gray covered better than at the salon. My boyfriend helped apply the back of my head but I did great with the brush around my face and part 👍. I’m all set for my next application. A great savings and I have total confidence in the color. Loved colouring my own hair. I’d be more prepared next time though with clamps and a brush! The colour was exactly what I wanted and to be honest I’d think twice before I went back to a hairdresser!

Was easy to use but was a little scared to try because I had read that someones hair had turned orange. Followed the instructions and when time was up, washed out using the shampoo and conditioner. Blowed dry my hair and it was so soft and shiny. Will definitely use again.
I ordered the product the end of March but was afraid to use it as I have always gone to the salon for my color. We are in the midst of the Covid pandemic and under "house-arrest". All salons are closed and there is no sign of them reopening in the near future. I just couldn't take all the gray and how dull my color was looking so I figured what do I have to lose, give it a shot. The instructions were great and it was very easy to use. The color came out great and my hair feels great. I don't think I will be going to the salon in the near future spending a fortune to have my hair colored. Highly recommend!
I have never colored my hair at home and have been with the same salon for years, visiting regularly every 6 weeks until the pandemic. I reluctantly needed to try an at home option. While it was awkward to color my own hair (long hair and the back was tough) - it came out great. Better than I expected and the color was almost a perfect match. My hair came out soft and shiny. I was skeptical and now impressed! I would do it again.
I love this product . It came very quickly and it was very easy to use, it had extra steps the other dyes I've used don't have to make sure you're thoroughly getting the color all through your hair. My gray hairs are gone I will be repurchasing thanks eSalon
I received my 1st Color Set. I thought the packaging was perfect. Everything was spelled out and so easy to use. It was a little tricky doing the back of my hair but I did figure it out and my hair looks great - I would definitely recommend this product.🌻
The coloring was different, doing the roots first then the rest of the hair. I found the directions very easy to follow and the coloring easy to do. I like that you don't have to leave the color on for long length of time.
The instructions were clear to my stylist, Ha!, Husband, who was forced to dye my hair because we are staying home and staying healthy.
He has never dyed hair but it was easy for him and will be easier next time.
The color is just what I hoped for. I worried about it. I really did not expect it to be this good and as close to my usual color.
Once I washed and dried my hair I could see that the gray coverage was not quite dark enough on top of my head in the area where I part my hair, so I put more on in that area only and left it on 12 more minutes. My gray hair there is always very color resistant. The gray is colored, but a tiny, tiny bit lighter than the rest of my hair that was not grown out. Other people looking at my hair might not even notice.
Next time I will I think I will leave it on all the gray a little longer.
I recommend this product and will purchase it again.

I used the Sun kissed Highlighting kit with this color. I was apprehensive about doing it, I really didn't want to have that platinum, fake blonde tint. I went for it, being quarantined and all, I could always shave my head if I hated it. But, WOW, what a great highlite. I am so thrilled with this process. My hair is so soft and shiney and a very Natural Blonde, that I was born with. Thank you so very much for putting out this fantastic product. I am overwhelmed with how well it came out. My sister and my best friend were happily surprised and very happy they didn't have to come and shave my head. Now, if I could just go somehwere and show it off, that would be great. Another time!! This was my first time ever coloring my own hair. My sister referred me to eSalon and I will admit, I was really skeptical about not only coloring my own hair for the first time, but ordering a product online that I had no experience with. It really made me nervous. I thought ‘what if my hair falls out, or what if it turns my hair blue?’. But I took the chance and I am really glad that I did. My hair color came out PERFECT! It was more than I could have ever expected. Directions are clear, the process is simple, and they asked me all the right questions. eSalon delivered the exact color I wanted!! I had just colored my hair and I hated it so I came across an ad that I had saved on my Facebook page months ago from eSalon. I decided to order from eSalon thinking couldn't be better worse than I already had. It came quickly in the mail but I wasn't ready to color again yet because I didn't want to stress out my hair anymore than it was. Finally I colored it and I wasn't too sure of the color at first so I waited to put my review in. And from day one I got so many compliments on my hair color. I have a daughter that is a beautician that usually does my hair but she lives in another state and I can't always wait for her and this is the first time she ever !loved my hair the texture the color everything so I must say I recommend this wholeheartedly also, I waited for quite some time to give my review because I wanted to see how my hair did as far as time the color held for a long time and it actually I think is a prettier color as time goes on so I 100% I would recommend these products thank you.
So easy and closer to my natural hair color than my salon stylist!

Quarantine time!! I was a little worried about what I may get, but ordered the color I thought and then uploaded a picture so the stylist would be able to tweak. She tweaked, it came this week and today I did a root touch up and the end treatment. The online videos were great, as well as instructions, very helpful.
The color is wonderful, better than the color my normal salon stylist has picked - more like my natural color. I have a lot of gray hair, which have proven to be very resistant grays - I was also looking at Madison Reed and they had specific bland colors for resistant grays which had some poor reviews, while esalon seems to note all their colors as good for resistant grays and I didn't locate many bad reviews on gray coverage.
When I got the kit, I was worried about the amount of time for my coloring - should I add more time for my resistant grays, but I decided to go with their prescribed time (20 for roots and additional 5 for ends). My grays were completely covered, with this wonderful brown color.
I'm very pleased!
This was my first experience at coloring my own grays. Loved the color and coworkers noticed also-positively. I am very pleased with the results. I may need to tone it a bit. The product odor was strong but not unbearable. I used a brush but may try the bottle next time. Also loved the shampoo/conditioner. My hair felt smooth and had such glossy shine (I have curly hair but wore it straight). Thank you!!
I am very light blonde and have been only going to high end salons. With quarantine I have to colour at home now, which I have never done. The colour is perfect.....just as good as a $300 colour from the salon!!!!! So happy! After covid is done, I will likely stick with this!!!!!
Color looks great, not too dark and NO BRASS! Slightly Auburn tint to area that has never been colored but I like it. The only way to get my hair to color without any red at all is to bleach, then color, which eats my thin hair to bits.
Instructions were great, truly appreciated the stuff for the ends...they don't look over colored at all.

I love the concept and convenience of this company! No more worrying if my color will be in stock or running out of gloves or developer. My hair is thick and coarse and curly. At first I was worried there wasn’t enough color in the bottle, but it was the perfect amount. As long as I color my hair, I will use this product. My hair feels great, the subtle color differences make it look so much more natural, and it’s worth the price difference for the convenience and the confidence.
This was so easy and everyone loved the color. I got more compliments than when I went to the salon! I had two friends that have also ordered and they should be receiving theirs soon. Happy Customer I am going to order again as soon as I get done with my review!
I was very nervous to color my own roots, but no need to have worried! The color match was perfect as I had sent a pic along with my order. The back roots were a little difficult to color but that’s just my not being coordinated enough.
All in all I would highly recommend giving this a try!
This produce exceeded expectations. Non damaging volume with an exact color match. Left my hair shiny with grey roots covered with golden brown color and absolutely no line between my old and new color. Easy to do. Goodby expensive salon. Recommending it to all my friends.
I am so happy I found eSalon. They helped me choose a flattering color and the kit arrived with easy to follow instructions. I was a bit concerned because I have very sensitive skin and have sometimes ended up with blisters from harsh hair coloring chemicals. But I used the barrier cream they provided and I had no skin issues at all. I improvised with chip-clips to part my hair into four chunks to apply the dye. I started off nice and carefully but to be honest in the end I just gunked all the stuff in, squashed it around my hair and then washed it all out in the shower. I am really happy with the result, the colour is nice, it has lasted a long time and my hair feels really soft. Probably because I no longer bother to blow dry or style it since I am not going anywhere. But I wasn't ready to face my grey hair, so eSalon to the rescue!
I have been using expensive salons for years and was never really happy with my color. No matter who I went to, the color always came out with red tint, which I hate. During the quarantine, I decided to try eSalon and I am SO GLAD I DID!! Never going back to a salon again. Thank you!!
Very happy with this color. Usually use Hair Cuttery but with the pandemic it was closed. Just told the survey that they use Redkin 7N and my hair highlights itself. Easy enough my husband could dye my hair for me.
I was truly amazed how the kit was fully loaded with everything you needed. The instructions were easy to follow and the outcome was beautiful. It still looks great.
This last round of color was absolutely what I asked for! I am beyond happy with it! I also appreciate being asked if I wanted to add the ends refresher bottle before it was shipped to make sure I was getting what I needed to get to what I wanted. Something else that is really nice is that the prices for everything are right there in the open! I don't have to go through a long process to figure out "how much is this going to cost me?", since price is a big factor in why I chose what I do. Product did exactly what I asked -- I had used a box dye that I liked and because of the different base color, my hair turned more of a purple than a red. I asked eSalon to help me tone down the purple and bring out the copper colors and they did a great job. It's still a little darker than I'd like, but I'll have to live with that for now. Color was easy to use and instructions were easy to follow.
Although the color looked almost black during the application, once rinsed, washed and styled the Medium Blond color was perfect. Had a friend help and it was super simple.

First time to do my own coloring. Viewed helpful videos several times, purchased the cape, tools and could not have been happier.
