Received my kit within about a week - so easy to follow and the color came out perfect.

I have never colored my hair but because of the Covid19, it became necessary. Really nice product and will definitely do it myself and save money. I won’t be cutting my own hair.

The online colorist got this exactly right - super happy with the results. The first order was good and pretty much on target for the color I was trying to match. For the second order I asked for a slight adjustment to try brightening up the color a little, and it turned out great. Color was totally on point and the responsiveness to my feedback was great.
Being a blonde, I was very weary about coloring my hair at home instead of the salon. In the past, every time I tried a box color, my hair turned out brassy/orange which was horrifying and costly to fix. Esalon made a perfect and natural looking color for me and I am so excited to share this with my friends. While enduring the Stay in Place order in MN, it made my day better to have some self care today that worked and turned out lovely. I highly recommend Esalon and will continue to use this color system for maintenance even when my salon opens!!
I regularly have my roots done by a hairdresser every 6-7 weeks, an expensive business but worth it. The current lockdown meant i developed a noticeable inch of grey/white at my roots. So turned to e-salon as an inbetween measure. But i am so impressed that i think i will not be going back to the hairdresser. The colour match is spot on, definitely as good as the hairdresser. I worried that I would have a band of different colour but no. My hair also feels in great condition. Of course this was my first go. It was not that difficult to do either so even the ease of going to the hairdresser will not really justify 4-5 times the price!
I was astonished just how good a match this product was to the colour my
hairdresser uses. My hair is still almost all still my own colour even though I am 76 but my hairdresser said under no circumstances should I go grey cos red haired people are often very pale. Really worried about lockdown but the colour you sent was perfect. Thank you

Was really pleased with my colour had took photos of my colour which I uploaded and esalon matched the colour for me. I usually get my colour done in the hairdressers but due to the Coronavirus pandemic was unable to get my hair done. Colour was perfect wasn’t expecting it to be so good have recommended to friends will definitely use again. They also send u instructions and you can always tweek the colour if needed but didn’t have to do this as it was fab , brilliant service .

When I received my latest box of color, there was a card inside explaining that the formula had changed to a creamier texture. I love it! It's easier to apply and my hair is much smoother. I was getting worried because my hair wasn't looking as healthy. In fact, I had scheduled an appointment with someone to have it colored. Then coronavirus hit and I had to cancel that appointment. So glad this new formula came to me in the interim. I can continue to color my own hair. Thank you, eSalon!
I was nervous about trying this out at home having only ever had my hair coloured by professionals in a salon before now. However, the kit is perfectly presented with very easy to follow instructions and the best thing - it works and the colour is really very good - practically identical to what I would normally have. The result may not be perfect underneath (my fault for not being through enough), but it's definitely a massive improvement on how my roots were looking. Highly recommended.

I'm so happy I decided to color my own hair during the quarantine. I not only like the color better (dark blonde) than I had been getting at the salon, but of course it is much less money and was very easy to do. I have short hair and had no problem applying the color (I used bowl and brush) and it covered my gray well. I did miss a couple of inconspicuous spots so next time I will get my husband's help to make sure I have it all covered. Customer service is great also.
I liked the fact that it was the first time I ever had enough dye to do my whole head. Good covering of gray, next time I think I'll have some one help me and use the brush method. I noticed where I didn't get good coverage on the top center of my head. I have been dying my own hair for many years. I'm glad I tried this product.
This was my first time using esalon for color and I couldn’t be more pleased! The color is rich and after my hair was softer and shinier than it has been in a long time. I think the included color preserving shampoo and conditioner helped toward these results. It completely covered my gray and looked great for a very reasonable price.

I was a little skeptical of this custom at-home hair color at first, but this is so so great! Salon quality products that are easy to apply and give great results! The product doesn't dry out your hair and is just like getting it done at the salon for a fraction of the price!
I had been paying a boatload of money for Years (!) to have my hair colored every five weeks. Late last year, I saw an e-salon Facebook video and decided to give it a try. I mean! The color was perfect and my hair looked and felt healthy. Then the country went in lock down and I continued to receive my product -on schedule- and not have three months of roots to contend with. Perfect color, perfect price, perfect product.
I have gotten lots of compliments on my hair color since I switched over. It seemedto dry my hair out a bit more than the store boxes I had been using but paired with the moisturizing mask, it is perfect. My color looks good, my hair feels good. Happy I made the change.

I used my first e Salon custom colour on my roots and found the whole process very good everything is included in kit and I was pleased with result will definitely use again.
My hair is seriously difficult to dye and poorly holds the color for any length of time. This custom color set both covers the hair but also gives highlights and slight variation of color, close to natural and attractive. I waited for the second, third washing to expect loss of color-fade out. No way! This is a quality product for color and healthy care for hair manageability! 👍❤️

I have been curious about Madison Reed for a while and with the current quarantine situation, I thought I would give it a try. I am so happy I did! After answering some questions, Jennifer from Madison Reed whipped up the perfect color formulation for me. The process was easy and the results were amazing. My 9 year old daughter was my assistant and the color looked salon worthy, all at a fraction of the usual cost.

I was amazed at how perfectly matched the color was to my hair especially since it was matched from a picture I sent in. The product is also very nourishing and my hair did not dry out after using. I will definitely be ordering again.
I have been coloring my hair for years with other coloring and after a lot of washings the color fade. I have been using my custom coloring set and I can go longer with my coloring and no fading after my washings.
The color did a great job at hiding my greys. I could have been more careful in my application. I lost a lot of hair due to knotting. So my advice would be to apply carefully. I dyed my hair more than two weeks ago and I am still pleased with the results.
I cannot believe how accurate my color was. My highlights were left intact and the color looks perfect. I was so nervous but really feel the colorist took the time to match to my photo that I provided. I am a true believer and cannot say enough good about your product. Was dubious about this site on facebook at first...my roots were bad as hair hadn't been coloured for over 8wks by the time lock down set in and so I pretty desperate but having not coloured my own hair for many years was a bit nervous.
Once I'd clicked on the link I could tell by the website that it was extremely professional and this company cared about the products they were selling.
I was able to download a current picture of my hair and select the colour that was closest to it, with great ease.
When the product came it was presented very nicely and the instructions were brilliant and very clear, especially considering I am a novelty at colouring my own hair. The kit comes with everything you need like gloves stain guard/remove, shampoo and conditioner included, I was vey impressed and felt comfortable colouring my hair for the first time in many years.
Results were great! Colour lovely, roots and grey covered and so shiny!!

This is wonderful. The color is a perfect match to what I imagined and what I needed. It was easy enough for my husband to use to help me. I have arthritis in my wrist and he was gracious enough to offer to help.

I really did not want to buy hair color at the grocery store, so I took a chance with eSalon. Besides, most of the stores were out of hair color due to the pandemic. The color was perfect, and the set included almost everything I needed to properly color my hair as in a salon. It was a quite generous portion, enough if you wanted to color your entire long hair. The color seems high quality and did not dry out my hair and no allergic reaction.

Since all salons in my area were closed due to Covid-19 and it was already well over 3 months since my last visit to the salon, I was desperate to do something about my grey regrowth. I have followed Silvia Reis on Instagram and YouTube for years and saw her recommendation for Esalon. I totally trust her as a stylist so I went for it and I was super blown away with the entire process online as well as with the kit I received. The questionnaire is so easy to follow and the color selection is great and easy to understand. I also love that I was able to send my concerns about my hair as well as photos to an actual certified stylist. I received my kit just a couple of days after placing my order which was a huge bonus since getting into my stylist usually takes a few weeks. The packaging was very nice and Esalon seriously thought of everything. It came with the dye and developer for my roots, the dye and developer for my ends, a brush, two sets of gloves, dye remover, skin protector, shampoo and conditioner and even came with a little sticker to stick the directions up on your mirror. The steps were super easy to follow and it was a quick and easy process. My hair came out so beautiful and shiny and my hair feels amazing. I received salon quality color in the comfort of my own home for a fraction of the cost. I try to go 8 weeks between visits to the salon because I can’t afford to spend that much money every 4-6 weeks. I usually end up walking around with an inch or two of grey regrowth for a few weeks but now I can afford to do my roots every 4 weeks. Another plus for me was being able to dry and style my own hair after I was done. I always come home from the salon and restyle my hair because I am particular about how I fix it. If you are on the fence, seriously go for it. I won’t be going back to the salon since Esalon has me covered. Thanks so much!
My whole experience with eSalon was great, I uploaded a recent picture, talked to a professional about my concerns. The color arrived with detailed instructions, that were easy to follow. I was very pleased about the end results. I would highly recommend eSalon.
Came in nice packaging. Clear instructions and well thought out products with everything possible that would be needed to colour your hair. I was a bit worried as my esalon advisor recommended an altered colour and even when I was putting it on the colour looked too dark for my roots compared to the rest of my hair. However , when it was completed and my hair was dried and styled it was a complete match! I was really pleased!
Let me preface by saying, I have NEVER colored by own hair. I was always scared it would come out orange or some weird color. I answered the online questions, uploaded a picture of myself - easy. My husband was eager to apply the color. He does pride himself on doing a great job. He was just as nervous so he started on the back of my head and by the time he reached the front he felt pretty confident. He will be applying it again for me!
