Amazed at the simplicity of dyeing my hair.It was a first ever for me to do on my own and the results were gratifying. So many people commented on my hair, it was nice and the best thing is I did it myself.Go ahead and try it, you won't be sorry.
The colour is very close to my natural colour. It has not faded and in the light there are golden highlights. The shampoo and conditioner that came in the box were really nice. Overall it was a great purchase and it was easy to use and was delivered quickly. So far so good.
The last few years I’ve had a lot of white hair start to sprout up. I’m a natural blonde, so my attitude has always been “no big deal”... however, the last few months they’ve been sprouting like crazy and were becoming noticeable. I decided to use hair color and chose e salon due to the reviews. I cannot believe the results! The color is literally my natural color just “higher resolution” and it doesn’t feel dry or heavy. I will definitely use this again!
I am thrilled with the results of my custom color set. I ordered a richer tone than my current color and had much root growth to cover as well. With about 85% gray hair and 6 weeks worth of growth, there was much to do!! My results are exactly what I asked for- a rich, deep brown with gorgeous chestnutty red tones, super shiny and healthy looking and all of my gray gone. The customized instructions were easy to follow, and the cost and convenience cannot be matched, especially with such professional looking results!!! So happy I am back to my auto ship order.
I used to do my own color but when highlights became popular, I started to go to a salon... Now that I am back to doing it myself, I have no problem ditching the highlights! This is so convenient!
As this pandemic hit, your service was a lifesaver. I had never colored my hair myself and didn't want to spend time in a store trying to guess which one to buy. I am in a high risk group for the virus (over 65) and was glad to be able to get help from the comfort of my home. The instructions were easy to follow. The color was just right.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been less than satisfied with the job my hair stylist has been doing for quite some time. First off, I have to apologize for the uncertainty of my order that didn’t have any tracking information. I spoke with a kind representative who assured me it was likely an error with the shipper, and indeed it was. She encouraged me to wait a few more days and I am grateful for her reassurance. Now to the real stuff, I haven’t colored my own hair in over 30 years, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit terrified! My results turned out amazing!! I’m so happy with the results. I’ve already recommended this product to my daughter who was considering another direct sell hair line. My hair is silkier than before and I love the color. I’m more than impressed!!

So like many women (and men) everywhere, Covid-19 has impacted us in ways that I never imagined. I am not normally a vain person but when my gray hair started sprouting like spring wildflowers, I just couldn't take it on top of everything else! I started looking on-line for a quality at-home hair care product and saw eSalon's ad. It has more than lived up to its customer comments. The color I ended up with is just what I wanted. It has dimension and more than covered my gray hair. It was a bit difficult for a novice to use but the instructions (and video) were phenomenal (I'm the problem!). My next time I will enlist support from my sister who is also my roommate so we won't be breaking any health rules! My color is beautiful and I wish others could see it in person but that will happen in time. Until them, I am rocking my hair color and happy to be in quarantine looking good (well, not happy but.....my hair looks great!)
The light blonde was the perfect color for me. Instructions were easy to follow and the results were AMAZING. I would defiantly recommend and will be purchasing again.

I haven’t colored my own hair for years due to some tragic consequences in the 90’s (don’t ask - LOL). Anyway - desperate times call for desperate measures. My roots were screaming. I took a chance on this color and it was a perfect match. Everything but the bowl was included and it was so easy. Answer a few questions, snap a photo and the color comes right to your mailbox. Almost too good to be true. I’ve told all the girls at work about it. Great results!
This is no exaggeration...I was basically thinking the worst and hoping for the best when I planned to color my hair with esalon. I was so nervous because I've been dealing with a hair catastrophe and was literally trying to cover it with the color I did through esalon and let me just tell you...it BLEW my expectations away! I NEVER leave reviews but I had to! My hair feels amazing and looks amazing and the color is beyond gorgeous! I've never dye my hair myself so I was apprehensive about purchasing but I love the colour and I would recommend it. It is a perfect match for my natural colour. I just wanted to hide the greys.
The only thing I'd like in addition is the option to add oplex or a similar product as my hair is naturally very fine and dry.
I’ve never coloured my own hair before. But during the COVID-19 lockdown I had no choice. So I asked my usual hairdresser what colour she used on my hair and with this info I was able to order from eSalon. With the questionnaire about hair history and the upload a photo tools I had no doubt that the colour I would receive was going to be spot on. And I was right. With the help of my partner (to do the back of hair) I am now happy to say that my grey roots are gone. One more happy customer 😊 Thankyou so much eSalon
No harsh chemical smell or vapors. Very easy to use and my hair felt great afterwards. I normally have to wait a day to style hair with store color bit my hair was in great condition afterwards

After 15+ years of using a drug store hair color I decided I needed a change. My hair had no shine and looked very dry. I loaded up three pictures of myself, told Esalon that I was hoping to keep my color the same and placed my order. The next day a colorist from esalon emailed me that they thought the color I had selected would be too dark and changed my order. I got my color within a few days and applied it. It was super easy and I love it! Lots of shine and the color is perfect. All my gray was completely covered and it was really very easy.
Wanted to say a HUGE shout out to Yvette, my assigned Colorist. The hair color is exactly what looks great on me. I absolutely love the color and especially how my hair feels (full of bounce and volume). The step-by-step instructions was easy to follow. My husband (color stylist) was great at following these instructions.
Impacted during the CoVid19 crisis with the Shelter in Place orders of my State, I was not able to schedule my monthly hair/coloring appointments with my Hair stylist. eSalon has been a lifesaver on creating a good feelings within during these trying times.

First time I have every colored my hair at home and not at a hair salon. I loved the color and it was super easy. I am considering doing my own coloring going forward, rather than spending the money at a hair salon!
I am so grateful for eSalon's team. Tomorrow is my 50th birthday, so I thought I would take a deep dive into doing my hair. The colour matched PERFECTLY!!! The service at E-Salon was terrific too. The colourist said I would be pleased, and I am. Typically I'm a tough client with hair colour, so I was surprised that this hair colour took no time at all do, and my hair remained soft. Thank you for providing this much-needed service during 'social distancing;' this colour has lifted my spirits tremendously. It begs the question, why didn't I do this earlier!?!
This was the first time I colored my own hair. I'll be using e-salon from now on. With the stay-at-home order and salons being closed, e-salon was perfect. I was a little nervous about coloring my own hair but my hair feels soft and looks terrific.
We'll do just a little tweaking on the color with next order but my hair still looks superb.
I have never colored my hair at home, and with COVID19, I haven't seen my hair stylist for a month. I have a lot of gray, but wanted something better than a drugstore color. After an understandable delay (damn you Covid19!), I finally received my first colour order. Without a minute wasted, I immediately coloured my hair and am delighted with the results. Although I'll never be a fan of home colour (love the results/hate the mess!), I couldn't be happier and more grateful for having the option. Thanks eSalon!
I have been using professional salon color for years. eSalon color was even better. I asked for “no red” in my medium ash brown and it was exactly as I asked.
I am so impressed with eSalon. The color they made for me, following an impressive series of questions about my hair, is perfect. I am so relieved. One major loss during this time is getting my hair colored by my salon. I didn't think I would be able to match the color my hairdresser always uses, but eSalon really surprised me with how perfect the match is. Thank you. A big relief.
I have never colored my hair successfully by myself, until Esalon. I loved the whole process. My colorist picked the perfect color. The grey coverage was great for me (I’m about 30-40% grey). The instructions were clear. I still miss my stylist, but during these times it is so helpful.
Definitely worth the price!!!! I had few grays and it covered them all. And the color covered all my hair the exact same color ! I will never buy store brand again!! Not worth the $ or the damage it does to your hair. Definitely try this company!!
Everything I needed was in the kit. Step by step instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I LOVED my color - I wanted a subtle color change and to add copper/red tones to my dark brown hair - this is exactly what my colorist custom-blended for me. The color is perfect and my pesky greys are gone! The classic shampoo and conditioner included with the kit smelled lovely and had a soft, sudzy lather. My hair looked and felt fabulous afterwards! The delay in receiving my order prompted me to call to cancel. The CSR informed me that day my order had shipped. I received it Tuesday, April 14th and opened it to proceed on Wednesday, April 15th. The kit is beautifully organized and classy. The personal touch of adding my name and custom color was really nice. The cute poem set the mood for me to feel confident in doing the base bump myself for the first time ever. The instructions are easy to follow. The results are better than the salon base bump color I get done every four weeks. Loved the experience and am going to restart my subscription for every four weeks. Now if I can figure out how to do my highlights myself I will be over the moon thrilled. Thank you for making a expert quality color kit available.
Took longer than I hoped but still reasonable considering the situation at hand. Appreciate the stylists questions and guidance. Results were as desired. Happy to be gray hair free a few more weeks

I was so impressed. The whole site is easy to use and the consultation really useful as you put up a current pic of your hair and everything is considered before one of the colourists makes your colour up. It all arrived on time, beautifully packed and easy instructions. I was nervous to see my result but I needn’t have worried. It’s amazing!!!!
I would just like to say I was very dubious ordering my hair colour this way. I’m not one for taking chances, especially with my hair! Lots of things can go wrong....., As I’ve found out over the years. However, I am very impressed....The colour has blended in With my original hair very well. My hair has a tendency to be dry after colouring but the condition after colour, wash and blow dry was fabulous. It’s not covered my grey completely but I’m sure that’s something I can rectify with the colourist should It become a problem. I’d definitely recommend e-salon. I was impressed with the presentation of the box and how the instructions were personalised to myself. What can I say one happy customer. Thank you.
Since this was my initial coloring it was not exactly the shade I wanted but I know I can change that with my second order. The supplies were more than adequate, the instructions detailed but simple to follow. I am surprised and very pleased that the color is as strong and true after 3 weeks as the day after coloring (I shampoo every 3 days).
The colour that I have received is exactly what I needed, it does what it says on the tin, and colours my greys perfectly.

Like most people in lockdown, my hair was looking very drab with grey roots appearing and making me feel depressed.......a friend recommended esalon, but I was dubious.....however having used it for the first time, I am very Impressed with the results .....easy to use, no itching afterwards and a professional looking result.
My custom hair colour package worked extremely well at matching my hair and covering my grey roots and my hair is very soft having used the shampoo and conditioner that was included with my "kit".

I had chosen a darker shade but given my complexion, they thought the transition may not be the most flattering. They were right! They developed a slightly less sharp color && it looks great!
I’m now on my 5th order of eSalon and I’m not going to stop. I’ve never been so happy with a colour. My hair usually goes reddy/ brassy and I put that in my request and behold- I’m a brunette but more ashy than red- exactly what I wanted. Easy to use, gorgeous packaging and wonderful customer service. The contact you have with your colourist is second to none. I’ve got fine curly hair which I’m trying to leave curly and grow and this product has helped my hair stay in great condition.
My hair stylist recommended that I try eSalon as I have been using drug store color for many years and my results were starting to diminish. I could not have been happier with the results of switching to eSalon. The process was very simple...I uploaded a couple of pictures of my hair and the product that I was currently using and the color specialists listened to everything I had to say, gave me recommendations and mailed me my coloring kit with specific instructions...it was a very simple process and I love that they auto ship so I don't have to worry about remembering to order my color each month. This is the second time I have use this product and have been impressed at how well it has covered my hair to clear the grays have found out I need to leave it on a little bit longer for my roots then estimated but overall very happy with the product.

After requesting a slight change in my color, my colorist NAILED it. I love the color. And the feel of my hair is incredibly soft and silky. Now, if I could only get into my stylist to get my hair cut.
I have never colored my hair before and due to the virus needed to find a solution I could do at home to cover my roots. Esalon was perfect! Their questionnaire was detailed and the colorists were both responsive and experienced. They told me that the color I thought I would need didn't match the photo of my hair color. They were right! The color they formulated was perfect and blended seamlessly, as well as my hair salon would have done! The kit came quickly and was easy to apply. I may not return to my hair salon after the virus passes!

Ok, so I broke the rules and didn’t color roots only as my instructions recommended. I LOVE how my hair came out. I was so tired of all the colors in my head from previous colors and highlights. This blended my hair and gave me a rich mahogany that I feel complements my skin. Thanks Esalon! ❤️

With "shelter at home" rules in effect, I could not see my stylist for my monthly touch ups. My darker roots and gray were weighing me down on top of the rest of COVID19! I sent a photo, and received my match according to my "virtual stylist, Paul." He did a TREMENDOUS job of matching! I can not imagine that is easy to do, just from a photo and the bit of input I gave. Thank you so much. I would absolutely recommend. Honestly, what is the worst that could happen, as long as you test a small patch first? LOVE!
