I have been coloring my hair at home for 20 years. I am 53 and gray runs in my family at a young age. My hair also grows very fast and so it was to much to continue to get professional color every three weeks.
I have literally tried every over the counter color and none of them cover gray as well or as long as e-salon color.
The color is rich and has dimension, it looks like it was professionally colored.
I get compliments on it all the time and best of all, I can wait five weeks now in between coloring my hair.
I have told all of my friends and business associates about this product.

The color was exactly as shown and described plus it made my hair shiny, not dull. I have well water which made it hard to get the dye out but after washing a few times with the shampoo provided it worked fine
Thought I'd have a little change in colour and it's so vibrant! Deep brown mahogany red looks so pretty and such great condition. Loads of people have commented on the fab colour!!
I have been using eSalon since 2015 and love it. It gives your hair a depth of color you can't do yourself with other products. You really have to scrub your scalp to get the color out since it's a gel but it's well worth it.

The medium natural blonde color looks very natural, and the tiny bit of neutral my colorist added kept it from getting brassy. It held up pretty well for six weeks--much better than the Redkin Chromatics I was using before. It also smells surprisingly pleasant--no ammonia odor.

I have been dying my hair for about 15 years already. I have always used drug store box brands. I had one specific color that I loved and didn't make my hair look or feel damaged. When they discontinued that color, I tried countless other brands and colors and couldn't get the same look or feel. I cannot afford $100 every 6 weeks to get my hair dyed at a salon. I came across esalon and figured I'd try it. The first color I received was almost exactly what I wanted. I worked with my stylist to tweak it a bit and it didn't take long to get the color that I wanted. The kit comes every 8 weeks for me, but I can change the amount of time at any time, which is very convenient. The color covers tough grays and stays bright and shiny until its time to recolor. I redo my ends about every 6 months, as my color is red and red has a tendency to wash out faster. This product is the longest lasting color without that washout look in a few weeks. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants lasting, shiny, healthy looking color. Very easy to apply and personalized directions and color for everyone!
What an awesome, affordable and effective way to color my hair. I was able to cover my grays without having to go too dark on my hair color. And it left my hair feeling nice and soft, like I had not even used any chemicals.

I was apprehensive using hair color purchased online. I didn't know if I would like the color or if it would leave me with blue hair! I used it last night and I absolutely love the color! I am blonde and usually switch between a light golden blonde and light ash blonde so that the color doesn't get too yellow. I opened my box and took out the instructions, which are easy to follow! I got everything that I needed and sat down to begin the process. I have colored my hair for years to cover the grey, so this was not an unfamiliar process, but it was nice to have such easy-to-follow instructions! As I watched the color process, I was worried it would be too dark, but continued through to the end and it is beautiful! I need to tweak the color just a bit and eSalon makes that a very simple process, too! I am looking forward to receiving my next color treatment!
The more I use my Custom Hair Color the better my hair feels! After my colorist suggested a little copper in my normal brown, I loved it! The next time I asked for the color to be adjusted to a little lighter shade and it is perfect! It looks exactly like it should be my real hair color, the grey is covered and there's a nice bounce and fullness to it now! I couldn't be more happy!

It was my first go at eSalon, so with that in mind I was very happy with the results! My roots were a tad bit lighter than the rest of my hair, which I mentioned on my feedback questionnaire, so we will see how round 2 goes! I had enough product to coat all of my long, thick hair and the colour looks great!

I was really skeptical because I had never heard of esalon, but after using it the first time and loving the color, and all the compliments, I just had to stay with esalon. I truly recommend this product.
Coloring roots blends nicely with existing colored ends. Color retention much better than premium supermarket color in the black box. I won't use anything else, and my skills are equivalent to salon results. The best I have used in 30 years of trying different colors and brands, store or salon.
Loved the packaging and instructions. Everything was layed out perfectly and I loved the "pro tips". Was very impressed. My roots were a tad too light so I think I need to change up my hair color profile. I appreciated the second gloss color that was added. Great product, especially for the price!

I think I'm going to really like eSalon. I had never died my hair myself before, and it turned out really good. I was hoping it would be lighter, but eSalon said we would gradually go lighter. Over all it was a good experience.
I like the fact that I don't have to go to the store to get it. Very convenient it coming to me. The color last longer than box colors. The company really cares how I like the product.
I was delightfully surprised at the color match of my first order. Never colored my hair, just used shampoo with color in it. The color I was sent was perfect. It really looks natural and it was very easy to apply. I have short hair, so I only used 1/2 the product. Will save for the next treatment. I was a bit skeptical and kept the box for a month before I tried it. I am naturally a dark blonde, with many gold tones and red tints. I normally color using a box like Nice and Easy or Loreal. This is my first time using, and I have not been paid to say these things. I am simply utterly shocked and impressed. The kit I ordered was awesome. Almost as if you get real professional supplies at your fingertips. The instructions and the sticky tab to hold them, were very well thought out. The best thing I enjoyed was mixing my color instead of using the bottle. The brush gave me an overall better color, not winding up like a raccoon. The end product was amazing. I can't believe it. My friend pays over $100 and honestly, this product is worth the low price. The only thing I believe I will ask is I have a few, ehem..., gray hairs around my face that it didn't touch and I believe I trust this company and product (my stylist is Emily) enough that I would be happy with trying other things they have, like highlights or the gloss to my roots next time. I would be interested in trying a lighter shade now that I know I can achieve professional results. This exceeded my expectations beyond belief!
It covers my grays and lasts! It has a sticky,oily feel to it when you rinse it out, I recommend shampooing twice. The color looks natural and matches perfectly.
