At first Yay, then....At first the color was beautiful and vibrant! I was amazed and in love with my new color. Wash after wash though red dye continued to wash out my hair (No I do not wash everyday) Now My hair has brown roots (normal), red (the dye), and the bleached blonde (middle to end of my hair). I had to cut my hair to start newProduct is too rich in ammonia. In my opinion this product is perhaps too strong to be handle at home and I doubt to be handle in a hair salon. After two times that I used it, Ian’s reading all the reviews, the product left my hair all a dry and burned looking. I had to go to a profesional to cut it very short. I want to warn people who is using it. Does not cover your roots entirely either even if choose I darker tone on your roots. Frankly speaking they should remove this item from the market. The advertisement keeps popping out for me to get one free after the purchase of 10. Well, if I would have done that I would had probably would had lost all my hair by now. Depressing experience. I will take this formula to an expert and see if there is someone I could go to escalate this matter and see what happens. In the meantime I will keep cutting it short and wait a few years to regrow. Color is good.The color in the bottle was barely mixable. It was so thick....almost like it was very old. It was difficult to squeeze it out of the bottle - it kept clogging up. I shook it many times but it just would not mix with the peroxide. There was globs of it in the bottle.....when I got to step where I filled bottle with water to massage into my hair, I did it 8 times. First timer - didn't do a good job on coloring my Grey'sDidn't color my Grey's well at all. I'm going to have to do a touch up in 2 - 3 weeks. Also the color is more like dark brown than dark blonde. Still no natural red color. It is either too brassy or none at all.I have not been happy with the mix of color. This current order left my hair a mousy brown...no red highlights at all. Same color!I talked to my color specialist and explained how I didn't like my first color, it wasnt dark blonde like I wanted, it was more of a ugly rusty burnt orange. Good customer serviceThe customer service is good they try to fix what is wrong but the Hair Care does not work for me. I got the wrong developer two times and the color did not stay in my hair but it lightened my hair when I was supposed to go almost black. Good hair color, Horrible customer serviceI have been using e-salon for about a year now. For some reason I did not get my order sent to the same mail box I have used for a year now. I called e-salon and they would not re mail my order. Instead told me to go to the post office because it could not be safety left at the same mail box it was sent to before for a year. This never happened to me before. Chewy.com just re sends the product and does not make you feel like a criminal. It is one box of hair dye...they have lost me as a customer due to being treated rudely and because I can’t depend on getting my order from them now anyway. If you live at an apartment, save yourself the trouble and do not use e salon bc you may not get your order. Half of my hair fell outWhile doing my final rinse with the leftover color for shine in the shower, my hair just started coming out in clumps! Hair came out orange...My virgin level 6 hair came out orange after using a level 8 ash copper blonde dye... I thought the formula would be more ash to offset the copper but it clearly was not... I followed the directions to the T and have colored and even bleached my hair on my own at home for years before trying out E salon thinking it would be a product I could trust... Packaging of ProductWhen I opened my box color was on the developer bottle, plastic wrapping of the brush and color bottle. Color doesn't stayThis hair dye is honestly so beautiful for the first 2 weeks. I feel like I just walked out of a hair salon after using this product. The only thing is that the color doesn't stay. No changeDemi-permanent didn’t change my hair colour. I provided pictures and was very clear about what I wanted and have achieved that colour using a simple gloss or henna before. Something happened to the color this monthI just colored my hair with my recently received color set and something was terribly wrong this time. The color and developer did not mix properly and the color wouldn’t hardly come out of the bottle. It was thick and lots of product settled at the bottom of the bottle in a thick goop. Be careful which colour you choose!While there is lots to like about the colour set - it is quite straightforward to use, the instructions are clear, and it's helpful to have things like the gloves and stain remover etc, unfortunately the colour is not what I wanted. I opted for 'light brown' and it came out quite dark, with lots of red tones. It is the first time I have used home hair dye, but I have had my hair coloured in an inexpensive salon a couple of times (four years ago), with similarly annoying results! So I think it's as good/bad as the salon experience I had in the past, but a bit frustrating as had mentioned in my initial enquiry/order that I wanted to avoid going too dark/red; I just wanted to cover my greys, not change my hair colour. The 'custom colourist' doesn't seem to have taken this into account. I even bought the 'soft red neutraliser' toning treatment, but it doesn't seem to have worked either. color faded fastI liked the results initially, but then a few days later noticed one spot looked a bit lighter. Less than a week later, I noticed some of the color had already washed away - and I could see grey streaks coming through! I followed instructions to the T. A little disappointedI had a lot of root touch up to do and I finally had a chance to use my first box of esalon colour. The colour is good however, the greys around my face were not covered. It is not terrible but I usually don't have this type of grey showing for four or five weeks. The disappointment is that I just did my hair today and it looks like I need my hair coloured, especially arround my face. I am going to give it one more try. Washed outI followed all steps & products and waited 2 full days to wash hair as usual. Hair color came off onto my hat & pillow and after first week more color washed out, the greys & norm hair show through. I only shampoo every other day & use J&J baby shampoo, no other. I do not use styling products, chemicals or blow dryer. Prep to dye-ive tried clean hair/48hr no wash hair, extra roots/ends product/process. Also purchased & tried tint rinse boost-leaves residue on everything! & pigmented conditioner. Im not sure why this is NOT taking to my hair? Healthy hair border med-fine, shoulder length. Not what I wanted or expectedI was super excited at the thought of having a custom color to help with my roots. I waited for weeks for it to arrive and then finally decided to go for it . I followed the instructions to a t since I’ve experienced bad hair dye damage before. I let it set for 30 minutes and it doesn’t match my hair at all my roots are gold amber even with the purple toner I bought and my other hair is bright blonde like normal. Wrong colors sentI spoke with someone about my hair and what we should do with the color. She had me do 2 Demi colors and they were not even close to the colors we spoke about.
