Bought this as a one off trialE-Salon been sending me repeat prescriptions of hair colour 4 weekly I have never requested this only wanted to trial! At no point agreed to 4 weekly deliveries. I am disgusted to have been sent 2 packages which were not agreed to and charging me £19.95 for a product I do not want. Would never use E-Salon again despite the product actually working well. Why are the bottles so impossible?Color is great. Videos very helpful. But dear god why are the bottles impoddible to open? My color (not developer) was just a disaster. I banged it on the counter. Burned my skinThis product had too many steps and while the color turned out ok, it literally burned my skin as it washed out in the shower and dripped down my back. What a Mess!My hair ended up two-toned with bozo red at the roots and an ugly dingy reddish brown at the ends. The product was so harsh on my hair it turned it into a glob of mush when I rinsed it. My package did not include shampoo and the conditioner did not want to rinse out. I would never try this stuff again! Better off with box brands from Walmart. flat and orangeyJust received and applied my newly adjusted color that was to remove the copper tones in my previous color. The instructions had me only doing my roots. Now the ends of my hair are the dark golden blonde I want and the roots are a flat orangey brown. I may need to go to a professional salon to have it fixed. Not happy. Left a message with my issues but not sure if anyone reads the request until my next color is due. Can't keep it until then. Frustrating. Update: I received an email from the company stating that they were refunding my money but had no solution for fixing my hair. Very upsetting! They actually just said they were ending my automatic shipments of hair color and tough luck. Despite their response below, they did not work with me to find a resolution and have my hair looking its very best. Could not be more disappointed with their customer service at this point. 2nd Update: They basically told me I am lying about the way my hair turned out. Please run to Madison Reed. Love the color, hate the company!I set up a couple of items to automatically re-order every 3rd order. Both items have been showing up on EVERY order. Luckily, I have been catching it before the order goes out, but very disappointed in a company who promises something every 3rd order and then adds it EVERY order. Cant find a "contact us" to even talk to someone about it, so I guess I will put it here. Feeling ripped off. Maybe time to look at another company. HORRIBLE!!!!!!This was the messiest, most horrible coloring experience I’ve ever had!! Not only could I not breathe in the shower when I dumped the rest of the color on my hair as directed, but I had a cough because of it for hours afterward!! Not only that, but the color was so runny, it ran down my scalp and went everywhere! The stain protector did NOT work, nor did the stain remover. I had stains all over my face and neck for days and to make matters worse, my hair looks horrible!! It’s the brassiest, most fake ugly red I’ve ever seen. I’m trying to figure out how to get the ugly fake blue red out of my hair!!!! Brassy colorI spoke with a stylist before my order was made and told her my hair tends to go yellow and red. I told her to make sure it's ash colored. I got a copper, brassy brown. I could have gotten this from a box of L'oreal and spent $10 less. It left my hair dry feeling and straw like. Not happy. Not sure if I'm going to try it again with a different color. Washed Out LookThe color was ok when done. Not great but , ok. Within Two washes, with Paul Mitchell products, it is very light and roots are visibly lighter. lossed alot of hair when rinsing since it turned in a globuloous mess of gunkThis is the third time I have had problems with rinsing out the dye. I have tried and tried now I end up bring dish soap and coconut oil in the shower with me to try to get it out. Waxy buildupI used the kit this morning. When it was time to rinse out the color I was left with a heavy waxy buildup and my hair was very stiff. I washed my hair four times and used apple cider vinegar. My hair was still stiff and waxy. I had to go to a local salon for a shampoo and blow dry. Result Not As ExpectedMy hair is dark brown and I wanted a bit of reddish brown hue. I got the red copper color. My friend helped me put it on for good full coverage. Told me to pay to strip it then PUT THE SAME COLOR BACk!!!I paid $100 dollars because the colorist (Danielle) told me to get the color removed them sent me a formulation that put the SAME color I detested back in. I had to call twice,the first time I was put on hold for ten minutes then sent to an answering machine. After leaving a message, no one returned my call so had to call back.Then the colorist on the phone blamed me for not adding a picture of the stripped color after they had already sent the dye. She offered no solution other than use Head and Shoulders. So you want me to spend more money??They didn't offer to fix the color, all they did was refund $10 dollars after I just paid ten times that to get the color removed. They didn't offer new dye, toner or highlights. Nothing that could actually fix the problem and they haven't reached out to try. So everything they say about their service and customer satisfaction is untrue since I had to call and email them multiply times. This site is a joke and intend to blast it on all social media of what a crap job they did. Terrible service and worse dye. Please don't use this company. EDIT- Even their response is untrue!! I loved the color but the dying solution made my eyes water and burn and eventhough I used all the conditioner, my hair felt like straw when I stepped out of the shower. Not at all what I wanted.Ordered a dark ash blonde. Sent pictures and everything. Notes I added that I did not want any brass or copper tint to my hair. Did the test stand color seemed great. What color is this?I was so excited when the my color arrived. Certainly not what I expected. The color was very light on my roots. A golden brown and a few blond hairs. Not a hint of red. terrible!I have only used this color the first time that it was sent to me. It made my hair dry and also it is an extremely harsh color. I just received another shipment that I thought I had cancelled which I most certainly don't need because I have several boxes of color that I haven't used. Wrong colourToo dark! I have went from my natural light brown sun kissed hair that I could dye any colour to a dark brown I can do nothing with.The photo of the colour I chose was a light purple colour. My hair started off light brown and is now very dark brown and I can’t cannot see any purple. I know I chose a colour from the dark brown section but with my natural hair colour as light brown the photo looked very light purple but the dye was mostly dark brown. I only see a red tint when the light hits it. Very disappointed. I don’t feel that it is made clear on your page that I should only be choosing from the light brown section if I want an accurate colour. Not worth the moneyMy grey has gone a brassy yellow/red colour and the ends are nearly black despite following the application instruction to the t. Not at all what I asked for!I originally chose an ashy colour, and was then advised that I should go for a different one based on my information - I agreed and specified that I didn’t want any brassy or copper tones on my already ashy, but historically highlighted hair. I’ve tonight used the colour you sent me and my hair dark ash blonde hair is now a permanent coppery blonde. I’m so upset! It’s always a risk using at home colour, but I thought the personal touch of asking the questions you do would make a difference. It didn’t. First order grately disappointedMy hair is still red, the hair dye smells horrible, and the hair dye got so thick on my hair it was difficult to take the dye out, even with the shampoo sample they sent I had to use my regular shampoo because the dye would not come of. ANGRYI am beyond disappointed and angry with this product . I used it for the first time yesterday and my hair, which is long, is now ruined . It has this film on it that won’t rinse out . I have no idea how to correct this problem or how expensive it will be to fix my hair. I've been coloring my hair for years and have NEVER had this happens... my hair is ruined!!! I even used baking soda in the hopes that it would remove the film on my hair, which feels like a wig now or doll hair and it didn't work. I have no idea how long I have to go around with my hair looking disgusting.... I'm so upset right now, but had to suck it up for work. Didn't get my color rightI asked for a blue black. I got pure black. Whatever. I can get it reformulated. So I ask for a blue black AGAIN. I again get shipped a pure black. They don't match what they sayI answered all the questions accurately and this color they made me is 2 shades darker than my hair or the photo they showed me! Thank God I only did my roots. Won’t use againReally disappointed with this product. I followed the directions and had an incredibly difficult time washing it out of my hair. Washed it 5 times before it was out. Contacted the Company and they suggested I put baking soda in my shampoo to help wash it out. That was not the response I was expecting. Great Color, terrible scalpI loved the color, but unfortunately this product must be too strong for my scalp. I’ve used it for 6 months or so, and I’ve never had a dandruff problem. After a few rounds of coloring, my head started itching a lot. Then tiny sores began to develop and then I’d itch those, causing bleeding. I've been dying my hair for a long time and have used all sorts of products (both at home and at the salon) and how cool is was to find a service that just sends it to you when you need it. The website, the packaging, the staff, are all awesome! I was so excited. But the product itself - the hair dye - didn't work out for me. It all went on normally and seemed good, but when it came to rinsing it out after the allotted 30 min, the dye itself became very grainy and the residue was very hard to get out of my hair. I've never experienced that before. I was in the shower for literally 45 min. trying to get it to wash out. The shampoo that came with the kit didn't get it out at all. It made my hair straw-like and I ended up having to wash with my normal shampoo to get it out. After it was out, it was fine, but I don't think I will use it again. So sad... Great color but had reactionI am not a person with sensitive skin and have had my hair colored all my life. AwfulI sent in pictures described my texture and bought all the extra stuff like shampoo conditioner and tint. My hair is black, my roots are light black. Only a one star bc I like the set upI think the idea is great and packing and instructions were all great. This made my hair feels as though it had wax in it. It also clogged up our shower.
