Color is okay; could be betterThe color on the main part of my hair (not the roots) is too dark. This is the first time I've been provided a color for this area. The final result is darker than my natural color. The color of my roots seems fine. I realize this could be partly due to how long it takes me to apply all the color because my hair is curly and down to the middle of my back. Never the right colorI've had 3 orders of color and the color was never right. I wanted dark ash blonde, the first 2 times it was golden blonde to a brassy blond, the last time it was chestnut. No where near what I pickedI was going for copper from white. While I understand this isn't easy, my hair is horrible. It came out almost pink and fried to heck. I had pretty healthy hair for it to be white, I take very good care of it since I do bleach it often. I only bleach my roots and tone the rest but I make sure to keep oils on it, use paraben and sulfate free shampoo, all that good stuff. After washing the color out I expected soft hair, as it usually is after I tone it, but my hair was coarse and the ends are horribly damaged. Everyone liked the color even though it was nothing I'd ever seen but after a week of putting oils on it and only three washes with the paraben free shampoo the color has faded and left my hair looking like a Georgia clay dirt road. No shine, just dull, muddy looking hair. I have to go pay someone to chop my hair off and fix the color now. I do not recommend this product at all. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. IntimidatedI received two developers..one was for roots and the other for ends...it intimidated me because it says to try not to get the root formula on the already colored hair..well I'm doing this myself...I thought it woukd be as simple as one bottle for the whole head. Nearly there but not quite yet!I think I wrote a review at the time that I was unhappy with it but I got lots of nice compliments so I'm happy with the color for my ends but the color for my roots is still not right. Its too light, not dark enough, not giving enough coverage and too orange. I'm using a dark brown eye shadow to make it darker so if you could fix that part I'd be very happy! Not what I expectedDuring the colour selection, I didn't have much of a choice on how light or dark I wanted to go and I was left with dark tone selections. I was hoping for a nice medium brown with golden tones to help cover up my brassy blonde balayage hair. However my hair has now turned back to a natural black which I am not a fan of at all. Not the colour I asked for!!I loved the idea of this service hence buying into it. When the package arrived it was exciting, aesthetically pleasing and personal! When I opened the colour to mix into the toner, the smell of the ammonia made my eyes water more than any box dye I've ever used. But that wasn't the issue. I asked for light brown. I've not got nearly black hair. I followed instructions perfectly and I've washed it a couple of times for fading. It's black. Not as good as I was hopingUnfortunately, my White hairs turned very light Brown (on dark Brown hairs) and There is no violet even a reflect. IT TURNED MY HAIR ORANGE, THE PRODUCT DOESNT LAST SO AT LEAST IT FADED IN 3 WKSDONT DO IT! DONT BE TEMPTED!! This product turned my hair orange. I am not kidding, my neighbor's 9 year old daughter said " Aunt Karen, why did you dye your hair orange?"----Out of the mouths of babes. I don't know what tempted me to stray away for Loreal after ten years but don't make the same mistake I did. When I wrote the company they gave no refund, no helpful hints, they just agreed to discontinued the regular repeat orders!! I washed my hair once to twice a day for 19 days and it had faded significantly. But man did I lose the hair. I would estimate my hair is at least 50% thinner than before I used this product. Fortunately I was able to use my Loreal again and my hair is back to normal. (color wise not thickness)! NO SPECIAL COLORIST just for me, NO REFUND, NO EMPATHY, NO HELP FROM THIS COMPANY. They could not have cared less when I wrote them! AGAIN PLEASE DONT BE TEMPTED TO TRY or you will CRY like I did for several days. Worst part, I had just started a new job!!!!! Not Pleasant ExperienceI completely understand that we can’t generalize but my experience was horrendous. To begin the color wasn’t what I expected. The color was pitch black. I read the instructions several times to make sure I got it right, and the moment I applied the product I knew something was off about it. After rinsing I realized that my hair was falling out drastically. It made my hair extremely dry, porous, and almost hay like. The dye lasted about 2 weeks. My hair continues to fall out. Highly disappointed to be frank. I wouldn’t buy this or receive it as a gift. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this product due to my personal experience. Not what I was going forThis color made my hair darker and more auburn than it already is. I was going for more red and less brown (I already have enough brown), and honestly, other than being darker, it’s not that much different from my original color and almost blends in. I am not pleased with this service at all!!!! Cannot get them to stop sending!!!I have contacted them multiple times to stop the service due to the color being incorrect and I didn't feel like it held up well. Dried my hair outUnfortunately I didn’t like how the dye dried my hair out. Also the dye did not last as long as I would like to have had it last. Not what I was hoping forI'm a natural medium blonde. The picture I sent showed it. I wanted to blend my roots better. My roots turned out red. I followed the wash through instructions and the rest of the color was darker but the reddish hue was not good. I stripped some of the color with clarifying shampoo and vitamin C. Not the color I wantedThis is my second time using eSalon. First time was great, the color that I got was a little darker than the color I wanted but I still liked it. Second time, I thought I was going to get the same color because I didn't change anything, but I got a totally different color, it is more like a light brown. It is not red nor copper. Hair 2 different colorsI got my order tonight and I was so excited. I enlisted the help of a friend and we followed the instructions to a T. The first application to my roots didn't change the shade of my hair at all. The second application made the rest of my hair quite red. UnpleasantThe color is beautiful. However, it is two Shades Darker. I wanted to go two shades lighter. I have sent then company for emails and placed two phone calls to them. I have had no return calls and no luck communicating via email. I also put my orders on hold which, did not work. They charged me another fee and sent out another order. I had to go back in cancel all future orders and call my bank. I lost a lot of hair using this product which I lose hair when I color however, not this much hair. My hair felt really well nicely condition and the color is beautiful it just is not the color I wanted and in a little concerned about the hair loss. Would love to speak to someone if they could call me or get back to me that would be great. I don't normally leave bad reviews and when I do I always try to include some positivity however, I'm not having any luck with eSalon and everyone that I have referred to them has had a great experience. I will continue to refer people however, I will no longer be purchasing until I can fix the issue with my very first order. Instructions made me overthink itI’m used to using the box dye from the stores. Never have a problem with applying the color to my entire head but with this system, the instructions tell you to part your hair with the clips and select piece by piece... it made me overthink the whole process and miss a decent size spot below the crown of my head. Color on my roots has faded to a lighter brown after just a weeks worth of washing. A little disappointedI thought it would be more red. I have very thin hair and it didn't do well with the darker hair underneath. It started washing out in just a few weeks. Not what I expectedThe colour I got was quite brassy and I had specifically asked for ash tones. I ordered a colour from E Salon to try and did NOT realise that I would be getting another colour sent to me un-requested a month or so later! Upon contacting the company I was told that I had agreed to this (don't know when or How ??) but could return the unwanted colour for a refund, Unfortunately I had to pay the return P&P so was out of pocket! I found the whole E Salon experience unsatisfactory. BEWARE when you are ordering the first time that you don't subsequently find you will be getting a regular Hair colour and the price on the 2nd and subsequent orders is £23.95!!! Alas, disappointed again!I was hoping to get a more even overall shade of red but I guess I am simply cursed. The ends ended up being the colour I was after (which I get is due to having previous highlights) but since I had specifically asked for an overall even shade, I would’ve been happier had the ends matched the roots rather than vice versa (which I know wasn’t going to be achieved the first time!) I am 6 months pregnant now and honestly it took so much effort for me to dye my hair which I kept saying to myself will be worth it when I see the result ... but that has not happened, yet again. Color is always too darkMy color always looks painfully dark for the first week- and then starts to look better after several washes and sunshine: More like my natural color. It tends to be a bit flat and lacks shine. I’ve added a personal keratin treatment to help with the flatness. i was very unhappy with the color.I wanted a light strawberry blonde and I received a reddish mahogoney color. I am very unhappy. Maybe I wasn't correct in my choice but still very unhappy. i will use a medium blonde in 2 weeks to see if I can soften the color., if not I will go to a professional salon. Did not cover gray's at allFirst, there's seems to be alot of steps for this product. It smells, i would suggest adding a fragrance. I followed directions thoroughly because I wanted to make sure my grays were covered. However it did not do a thing. The next day I found even more grays. Will not reorder, disappointed. You got it wrongMy name on the parcel My name on the bottle Only after I had done my hair and it looked too dark did I check and the made for sheet is for someone else!! Mine should have been lightest blonde but now it’s dark blonde/light brown and god forbid if the other girl got mine. I’m fuming. I am Very DisappointedI had natural red hair. I wanted to cover a couple of grey hairs that I have and decided to lighter my hair a little while I was at it. I had a very difficult time figuring out how to match my natural color and choose a shade lighter. I did the best that I could. My hair looks terrible now. It was a beautiful shade of red, now it is dark with some red coming through.
