I've been dying my hair at home for over 10 years. This is by far the best product I've ever used! The red color is exactly what I wanted and I've gotten a ton of compliments.
This product is everything it is advertised to be. It is easy to use and lasts just as long as going to the salon. I like the color that was mixed for me on the first try. I had an accident with one of my shipments, that was my fault. I called and explained and asked for a fast replacement. I was surprised that I got it in 2 days and they didn't charge me for the product or the expedited shipping. I love this company!
I loved the personalized kit! I was so excited to try it! I got the professional brush, bowl, drap and clips to go with it!
It was easy to apply and it looks great! I would have preferred it a shade or two lighter but I'm sure it can be adjusted!! I will definitely try again and use in the future!!
Tried my personalised colour for the first time, surprisingly for me I made no mess! The colour was as I had imagined, very rich in depth and warming leaving a lovely soft sheen. Thank you I love it. Have requested the stylist to modify the colour to have more red tones. Looking forward to my parcel arriving.

we adjusted my color once with no problems. It is a great color! I'm still considering going a little lighter though. Any questions I've had, have been answered in a timely manner.

I purchased my first color application and unfortunately missed abit in the back coloring. I let them know and within days recieved another application to redo what was missed. They are very prompt if you have any issues, and are more the helpful getting back to you in a timely manner.

UPDATE: I recently colored my hair and used the Lightlab. It was perfect! The highlights were exactly what I needed to update my look!! I love this product!!!!
I have been coloring my hair for many many years. I am a former cosmetologist and this is one of the best products I have ever used.
I absolutely love this color, my stylist prescribed a darker shade of the same color for my roots, and the the 2nd bottle for the remainder. No one even asked if I colored my hair, it's that close! My hair is down to the middle of my back, and I had plenty. It is shiny, and feels & looks healthy, I'm hooked! I really like that I can choose how often i get my color! I love eSalon!!!
I used this hair color 3 weeks ago, I think, and it's still shiny and there're no lighter sections so far. Even the outgrown parts are still in the shade of the product.

This was my second coloring & and strange ladies come up & ask who does my hair? I explain to them esalon specially mixes it for me & I squirt it on my hair! Voilà best perfection.
My new color is everything I wanted it to be! I wanted to darken my bleached ends to blend more with my natural color. The colorist created a color richer and darker than my ends, but with a tiny bit more red and lightness to brighten up my natural color. I painted in the color starting at the ends, and adding some strands up near the roots to unify the color. The result couldn't be better! My hair looks completely natural, but much richer, with copper/ blonde highlights. Love it!
This color was worth the few bucks more than I spend at the store. The gray coverage was much better, and I noticed it did last longer than the store brands. I like that I can tweak my color and get a personalized response when I request adjustments. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase!

My colourist worked closely with me and suggested a different shade than I had originally chosen, based on the photo I sent in. She was RIGHT!! The colour was perfect for me and the product quality is great! There is little to no dripping while applying as well the colour doesn't fade like the usual store bought products I have used for years. SO GLAD I found this website!! A HUGE thank you to the eSalon team!!

I have tried many types of hair coloring but I have to admit, this is it for me! The color is natural and just what I wanted and easy to use but most of all it looks professional.
The color came out beautiful. I am so pleased. It is definitely salon grade color as it completely covered my greys in half the time it takes with the drug store box, which usually does not completely cover. Now, I am adding highlights...I think;).
I was really worried as to how it would turn out -- too red or so dark brown that it would look black. It looks great. e-Salon thinks of everything -- including a sticker to afix the instructions to your bathroom mirror. I left the color on longer than the stated 30 minutes because my roots are so "grey", they are actually white. The result looks wonderful -- just slightly lighter than the ends but it looks very pretty. I'm glad I tried your service and products. Talking to the color expert on the phone really helped. Just looking at a picture on the computer is not enough. Thank you e-Salon!
Nice to save some money by giving up the salon for coloring. Reps from eSalon are very quick to email me if I have a question, and very helpful if steering me in the right direction about my hair color.
I really like the color and it is a lot easier to do than I thought it would be. My hair feels just as nourished and healthy as it did after I paid twice as much to a salon. I would recommend the product.
I am very impressed with this "box" hair dye. It looks like I had it professionally done at a 1/10th of price!! I am so excited to have stumbled upon this company, I like saving money but keeping the professional quality!!
Now ive only tried it once but my color turned out amazing an actually covered everything! Have even gotten compliments on it being unique! It is a lil darker then i exspected but i still love it! :) might have to try highlights or something i definantly reccomend this :)
I really wasn't sure what to expect. I have always gone to the salon and had my hair professionally coloured and never before coloured my own hair. But with salon prices getting incredibly expensive I thought ... why not give it a go!
A bit nervous at first, but once I started it was really easy. The results were amazing and I am so pleased I decided to try it. I don''t think I will ever pay to salon prices again.
This is the first time ever I am dying my hair. I have some whites coming in and highlighting my hair didn't really make me look any better. I tried this stuff and the color almost matched my natural color hair exactly. I have a strawberry blonde color and I never thought I could find a dye similar to this but I did! I like how the instructions included are detailed and easy to understand and they give you everything you need in your kit!
Evened out my color, covered roots and grays while adding dimension.....at a fraction of the price for a Solon color and I like it much better than when the salon does it!
Wow. Wonderful I'm delighted with my hair. I honestly didn't believe that it would be much in quality different to my normal garnia blonde. it just was just salon quality colour it's amazing blonde with no ginger glow like i normally have plus it feels in amazing condition afterwards. the color is wonderful. It didn't cover my roots very well be I didn't send a picture for you to see that my roots were as grown out as they were and the ends of my hair are a little yellowish. The pearl that you added is just amazing!

The coverage is great especially on gray. I have used it and it last well beyond the six week. I use it when my hair starts to go light, I get nice hightlights.
This was the first time I have colored my own hair. I have had color and highlights in my hair for 20+ years. I am 58 and have a few grays. The instructions were easy to follow. The color was a perfect match. My close friends said my hair looked as if I went to a professional. My biggest fear was that this kit would dry out my hair. After using the hair color, my hair remained soft and conditioned. The cost savings are incredible. I recommend eSalon to everyone.
This product is so customized that I don't know if my review will be relevant to others, but I will say that having provided a photograph and an explanation of the state my hair was in… eSalon did a great job of sending a color that worked perfectly. It's exactly what I wanted.
I've been colouring my hair since I was 14 and can honestly say this is the best colour I've used in all that time. The assessment for colour was spot on and the colour matched exactly with my request although if I ever fancy a change I can request that too. People don't believe I colour my hair as it looks so natural and multi-tonal rather than that flat colour that salons seem to give and as my colour comes out exactly the same every time I redo my hair, there is no telltale change as comes when you can't get the same brand of shop colour as before or the manufacturers tweak the formulas. Having detailed instructions on how to colour, including timings for application which other hair colours omit, makes it much easier to judge how long to leave the colour on and I've never had that slightly darker than normal colour that has happened with shop colour in the past. I also enjoy the peace of mind knowing my colour will arrive when I want it and I can adjust the timings if necessary rather than having to stockpile my store colour in case it's not available when I need it (as has happened in the past).

I was thoroughly impressed with my chosen hair colour it l it felt more conditioned. and lasted longer than any shop brought one and my hair stayed softer. I would recommend E-Salon to as many of my work colleagues as possible it is the closest I have come to salon colour that lasts but at an affordable price.
