I have really stubborn gray hair right above my ears. Every time I colored my hair, a few times at home but mostly in a salon, the gray would come back. I'm talking about 1 to 2 weeks later. Finally, through eSalon, I've found a product that works.

I love the ease of eSalon. My daughter actually applies the color and straightens my hair, as I have course hair. She was very surprised at the quality and instructions. The packaging and presentation is beautiful. It's so easy to follow! I've made one adjustment to my hair color and it came out amazing! Every time my daughter does my hair, I look and feel as if I've come out of an actual salon. The color lasts a lot longer as well. I usually need to touch up every 4 weeks but with eSalon, I go every 8 weeks. InLOVE with eSalon!!!!!
I am in love! The custom colour has helped me look much more natural and has taken out a lot of my ginger colouring which was due to an old bleach job that went wrong. It's fantastic that my roots and ends are now the same colour and I haven't experienced any adverse side effects (breakage, dark or light patches, fading, itching) like I did from drugstore colours because this is specially made for me and my hair type. 100% yes!!!
This is my first time using esalon and I could not be happier. The color mix for me was exactly what I wanted, not to gold and not to red, a very rich looking brown 😊 The process of coloring my hair was very easy and the directions straight forward. I also love how the shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling silky soft, with body and shine. I will use esalon for my hair color products from now on!

The color was what I was expecting, it covered my greys very good and it lasted more than the ones I have bought in the supermarket or the one applied in the salon.
I was so nervous I washed it off 10 minutes early because it looked so dark. Then I saw the color and was THRILLED, I could have left it on that extra 10 minutes. I love love love this product. I will never go back to the Salon to break my roots "they call it here in Boston"=$100. I have found the secret thanks to Allure Magazine. I am recommending this to all my sisters in the sisterhood, stop throwing your hard earned money away on hair color just to cover the grays. eSalon has been my go to for years, I never let anyone else formulate my hair! I love that it's truly custom colour, with off-the-shelf pricing. The colourists have always been incredibly amenable to changing things to find the perfect formula, and the company reminds me my colour is coming, right when I start to think about it needing to be refreshed!

Where do I even start?...OK, well I'll start by how I decided to try Esalon...it was by all of the other excellent reviews I had read about it! And, here I am writing mine! - If my review can help another girl like me, who was struggling to find the perfect at home color, that was not brassy, that was easy to apply, and was affordable then, please take my word when I tell you - this is it! - The process of finding my color was so smooth, working with the website and color specialist was a breeze. Shipping was fast, the cost blew me away, to think of how much money I had sent at high end salons (at about $200 +) per visit, and to get even better results with Esalon, I was in my glory. The kit literally inludes everything you need to get the best results - although I did purchase a few more items (ie: the mixing bowl, timer, hair clips, ect.) You really don't NEED those add ons but i found them extremely helpful during my application process. Over all, Esalon has made this whole process so personal and custom to my (and yours) order and instructions. I cannot rave enough about how happy I am and how much I look forward to continuing my services through Esalon. Thank you all so much for the product I had been on a quest for for years now. - Esalon, you nailed it!
My hair color I LOVE. My wallet loves it too. I used to spend salon money towards color and a cut at an "okay" salon and have an "okay outcome". Now I get my color from esalon and go to a high end salon for my haircut. I spend less too! My hairs never looked healthier. LOVE it.
I have a definite full head of dark brown hair and unfortunately gray/white hair made it into my life in my late 20’s. This color covers perfect and they match my hair so well. I love that I’m given everything I need so I can do my own hair instead of spending so much money to go to the salon!

I started using this product about six months ago and so far I have been impressed with the results. I have Keratin treatments twice a year on top of this and regular haircuts to keep my hair in great condition. Even men comment on how lovely my hair looks. Now that's saying something.....
This product is a perfect match for my auburn hair. Cannot match it anywhere else, believe me, I've tried over the last 30 some years. Great job and worth the money.
having worked as a cosmetologist for many years I was more than delighted with this service. The first color was not quite right so I asked for more depth and am now rocking the best color ever! Even my hairdresser who cuts my hair was blown away with the natural look and tonal color that was the end result.
After a few slight adjustments (a little less brassy, a little more red...) I finally have the perfect shade of blonde! I just love the color and the gray coverage, and I love how healthy my hair feels. Not dry or damaged at all.
I have had no problem at all with any facet of this experience. I do get the shipments closer together because my hair grows so fast. The color is great, my hair is in good condition and I use their hair care products, I'm sold.

Since I found eSalon and got my first wonderful color, I have used no other. The deep, vibrant color mixed to suit my coloring comes out rich and is really full coverage! All my silver is well hidden. It's easy to use and comes with goodies that are very helpful. I recommend eSalon to any woman wanting beautiful, salon looking color right in the comfort of home.
I usually do box dye and I just love the color I was able to get my hair holds red a lot and it was able to give me a nice rich dark brown. And i have auch thick hair but just the one botrle was all i needed. Will be using again.

I’m extremely happy with the coloring product, customer service and the auto ship feature. My hair looks great all the time. I recently wanted to change the color a little, so I sent a note describing a cooler darker color and they formulated it perfectly. I highly recommend e-salon!
I love this hair color system! They’ve followed up by email (so I can respond at my convenience) to confirm that the color is what I was expecting and we’ve adjusted it slightly to the point where it perfectly matches my natural hair color to cover the grey. The instructions are also customized to ensure that I get the result I want with no surprises.
The best part of this hair system is that the custom hair color is customized depending on your hair type. I have fine hair and find that the “drugstore” brands are harsher as they are made for use on all hair types. I find this system leaves my hair soft, shiny and best of all not damaged or dried out. I no longer have to use any hair product prior to blow drying or straightening my hair to make it smooth, soft and shiny. The only time I use a styling hair product is when I curl my hair because my hair is fine and healthier than it has been in a long time.
I would definately recommend this system; and don’t be discouraged if the first time it isn’t quite what you expected because they can fix and adjust it. Sometimes it’s hard to judge our own hair, so it might take a second coloring to get your perfect color.
I don’t ever want to go to buy hair dye again! This color was perfect and everything I wanted! It still has my dark almost black color look but my favorite shine of purple when in light or sun. I’ve never been happier! This is worth it, especially since it gets delivered and you never really gotta think about it for when you are ready to color again, plus you can customize more for your liking!
This new color rocks!! I asked for a darker, richer shade for Fall and couldn’t be happier. I’ve received numerous compliments from friends all saying how well this shade looks great on me.

A subscription well worth having! For someone like me who constantly colors her hair, I was very skeptical to sign up. I love vibrant colored hair but I prefer to have healthy hair above everything else. To find an easy at home system that lasts AND makes your hair feel incredible is rare. I am very pleased and I can't see myself ever using other coloring products again.
I really like this haircolor! I am still working on the right shade of color. They are willing to work with you to get it exactly right. Lasts longer than store bought color, and covers grey better.

I am a new customer, so it's easy to understand my anxiety about this. I had grown out my hair gray but was tired of it, so I took a chance. I love it. It was easy to use. The color was not too dark and was warm and multi-tonal. I'm waiting for my auto shipment to do it again.
I use the Red color and just love it Seems to have some blonde highlights but very subtle which really adds to the color. This is the Best color I have ever used in the past 40years!!
This is honestly the richest most beautiful hair color I have had in forever!!❤️ When I first get my hair colored it usually takes a minute before I kind of like it- or not. I loved this right off the bat. Great product!!!

Although I prefer going to a salon to have my hair colored, the last few years I have opted to do it myself to save money because of the grays that grow in within a short amount of time. Out of all the 'do it yourself' brands I have tried, which have been many, so far I have found eSalon custom hair color to be the best product. I receive many compliments on my hair color and the quality seems to be better than the drugstore brands. Very easy to set up a profile to achieve the color most desired. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. Being honest about what you prefer, what the results were and any other information related to the hair color are greeted with openness, as they want to make sure you are happy and had an easy time with the application. The color is the same every time and it is so easy to apply. It took me a couple of times to learn how to get all the gray covered around my face but now it’s great.
I love that I can make slight adjustments to my color as desired. This covers those pesky natural “highlights” that I tend to have so much better than the stuff from the stores.
