I started using eSalon for my hair coloring when Covid19 closed the hair salon I normally use. I've been very impressed by the color and length of time it stays on my hair without fading. The kit has everything I need in it. My adult daughter has been with us due to Covid, and she's been coloring my hair, a real treat. eSalon has been really good in checking to see if I want to change the color before my next order.

I really like the color and the ease of using. I would like to adjust the mix to make my hair less dry. My hair feels coarser with this hair color than it did from my salon. Is there something you can change to protect my hair?

I'm a first time user and haven't dyed my hair without a hairdresser in years. Due to Covid I obviously have't been to a hairdresser and quite frankly I don't intend to go to one for quite a while. So I decided upon esalon. I was pretty scared and used the product with care.....BUT the results were fantastic - really great colour. I'm going to do a regular order and get highlights. This is fantastic stuff!!

This was my first time coloring my whole head and was very nervous about doing so. I previously only had highlights done at a salon. The colorist was great to work with I found the kit to be very easy to use and the step by step instructions were very easy to follow as well. I love the final results and would recommend eSalon to everyone. I have gotten lots of compliments on my hair.
I never thought that I could color my hair and have it look really good, but I have done it twice and I am ecstatic with the results. The colorist's have paid attention to my color needs and specifically, mixed my color for me. Plus it's easy to, actually, color my hair. It's also very economical as well. Thank you so much eSalon..

I now have my hair professionally done at "Salon de Jeffrey" (aka my kitchen). My boyfriend, Jeff does my roots and I do the rest. Its BETTER than salon color at 1/4 the price. Your colorists are always responsive and helpful. I just wish my kitchen had a shampoo bowl. I'm never going back to the salon.

I searched for an at-home color and it's been challenging. My hair is long and it's not easy to apply color effectively. The eSalon color applied perfectly and it's shiny, the perfect darkest brown, and it didn't drip everywhere! Overall my color kit was very close to the color I needed. I have very almost white/gray roots and it covered very well. It was just a tad lighter than I'd prefer so my next kit will be a little darker. This process was very easy and the color didn't smell bad either. Very light floral scent not ammonia like the the store bought kits. I'll save a lot of $$ not having to go to the salon once a month!

I like the way it covered all my greys. It was an awesome transition, and 100× better than box dye that you get at the pharmacy. It was a little darker than I expected, which I was able to adjust my next order, with a little help from my color specialist, to a lighter one. Thank you so much for helping me find the right color for my hair.
Absolutely loved my color, covered gray beautifully, can afford to go to beauty shop, but love my hair color more with esalon. Great company to work with,

I went from blonde back to my natural color and I love it! The match was perfect! Communication and help form Stylist is awesome! Highly recommend and will not use any other hair color after using esalon. Been using this color for a few months now. My hair is natural, soft, and healthier!
The quality of this hair color is second to none, and unfortunately, I have tried various brands and shades before finally trying eSalon. The vibrancy of the color lasts much longer than any brand that you could purchase in stores...The best part is that it was customized/mixed just for me, for beautiful, natural looking color!
I just used the light brown copper color red for the first time this week. The instructions are really clear, and everything needed was in the box. My hair came vibrant and shiny. The texture was dry before I dyed my hair and with this product it came back to life! Sure saves a ton of money & time not going to a salon. So glad I found this product!
I’ve found the hair color to be spot on. I sent a picture of my hair color and was send a easy to do hair color and set. I’m happy to know that my shipment is every 6 weeks.

I am so happy I found you all. My e-salon stylist found the perfect color for me. I’ve had blonder hair all my life and it’s long.
The color kit was simple to use and included everything you need to color your hair. I have really long hair so the two kits in one is great for me.
I thought my colorist was amazing. I told her exactly what color I wanted and what color I didn’t want and she listened and came up with the most perfect color. I couldn’t wait to get it. The color is beautiful and your hair feels soft and well conditioned afterwards. I’ve had a lot of compliments. Everyone says how shiny it is and what a great color. Thank you.

Covers my stubborn gray hair in the back of my neck and somehow I feel that lasts longer, meaning my gray hair doesn't show or grow back so quickly. Love the color too, no redness when I am under the sun. I am so happy I found this product.
I trembled upon receipt of my first kit. I had never colored my own hair, typically spending about $130 at a salon every 5 weeks. Due to Covid-19 and my nasty gray roots, I was determine to overcome my fear. The box arrived with easy to use instructions. The key is to read the instructions through once or twice to make sure you understand. Then, voila! My hair looks great. My daughter actually prefers the color I selected better than my salon color. I think I've convinced her to give it a try!!
Thank you to my stylist who tweaked my color twice. Now I'm doing all over color that looks exactly the same as when I leave the salon! Perfect gray coverage. I was a complete beginner with at-home hair color, but it is easy enough and I love the results! I use the bowl and brush technique and my only lesson-learned is to be careful with the Stain Guard (Vaseline) and don't cover any of the roots near your face or they won't take the color. Lesson learned. :)
I love eSalon color! I achieved excellent coverage of my stubborn grays, and the color is gorgeous. It's beautiful, multi-faceted, natural-looking color that looks like I went to the salon, at less than half the price! This is not like the color kits you can get at the grocery store, which tend to produce a mono-toned color, in my opinion. The DIY Kit sent by eSalon contained everything I needed, including individualized instructions, and the process was super easy. I will certainly be buying my hair color at eSalon from now on.
been using esalon since the New Year and if I thought it was fantastic before lockdown its now invaluable during the current PH crisis. Salon quality, generous sized product ( I have long hair and this provides more than enough coverage for me) I can tweak shade/tone as often as I like and it gets delivered to my door. You get what you pay for..well worth the investment..

I was blown away by what I received. Everything I needed to be my own stylist at home. The color was a slightly different tone than what I originally wanted but fell in love with the results. I have dimension and shine.
I really love the product it was 100% customized for me. Easy to apply. The color is so rich It makes your hair look healthy and strong. 100% coverage of the gray and as the weeks have passed I do not have any dryness that generally comes with chemically colored hair and those gray hairs are still under control. I feel it was a great choice and and I definitely will be using it again
I’ve used several home colours over the years, and this is the bst I’ve tried. It may cost a little more than some other brands, but I think it’s definitely worth the little extra. I also like that you can have slight changes made to your formula.

The color is good and easy to use. The first set I received was great. Very thoughtful kit. Two pairs of gloves- one for application, one for rinsing out color, and a mixing brush that makes application easier for me since I’m just doing roots. Second set I received had no mixing brush. I though maybe someone just missed it and used the bottle to apply. Messy, but whatever. Same end result. Third set came, no mixing brush, only one set of gloves. No problem, I’ll just Use the bottle again and carefully remove and use the same gloves to rinse later. Hopefully nothing more is missing from the kit next time.

I've ordered three times now and the colorists have been really helpful and very accommodating when I need to make changes or ask questions. The color is good quality, easy to apply, and much cheaper than going to the salon every five weeks. I'm a fan!

Given these times-this is a fabulous alternative. I never liked going to the salon anyway but never had a good DIY experience. Box dye didn’t give me good coverage and irritated my scalp. This is a quality product and they follow up to make sure you have what you want and need. Went on the auto reorder program to make sure I don’t have to wait to do my hair.

Thank goodness for this option during the pandemic. The kit comes with most things you need. You really need the clips to partition your hair so be sure to buy them.
I have colored with Madison Reed 3 times now..... the condition of my hair is amazing. I have home colored for several years and kept my hair short because it would damage so quickly. During covid my hair has grown so much and I have continued to color and the condition is amazing !! Thx
I got this product because of the quarantine shutting down hair salons. But I’ve decided I don’t need hair salons as I’m doing just fine on my own with this hair dye. Love it, And love how it includes everything I may need.
I was very hesitant to try any online color even though they said it would be made specifically for me by professional colourists. I didn't think any words or pictures I could send would help them very much but was I WRONG!!! A professional colourist actually called me before starting to make my personal color so we could discuss the pictures I sent and what I was expecting from ESalon. She definitely listened because the results from the color they sent were AMAZING! My daughter-in-law is a professional hairdresser and due to the pandemic shutting down salons, I needed a place where I could get my roots touched up and hide my Many, Many Grays...lol...and not having any brassiness. She was amazed at how good a job they did with the color that they sent for me. Not only did it save me a lot of money, I got to do it in the comfort of my home! I'm on the schedule I CHOSE for color delivery at a fraction of the price of a salon. It's so easy, I can also apply the color myself!
I ordered the hairdye after seeing an internet ad during lockdown. I've struggled with greys since my teens as I have dark brunette hair & unfortunately it just runs in my family. The quality of the colour and the grey coverage lasts weeks longer than the shop bought ones I usually get. The set you receive to your door is packaged so nicely, the instructions are great & even the stain guard smells like oranges! My last custom order was lightened to my preference & I added afew extras. As a mum who's on furlough pay at the moment, It's my one lovely treat. Thankyou
I need another try with this product. I don’t doubt it works but I am new to coloring my hair at home. The system itself comes in very impressive and organized Packaging. I seem to have a lot of product leftover for just roots. My hair is only just below my shoulders and fine in texture. I’m not sure I put enough product on my hairline where most of my white comes in and in 1 day I saw 3 patches of white. So I’ll try again.
Fantastic colour, very unsure at first about home colouring. Instruction very easy to follow, more enjoyable experience than letting a hair dresser do it. No boring sitting around salons with-out-of date year old magazine.
Now onto my second order and gone shade lighter.
