Due to COVID I could not get into a salon to get my balayage touched up so I decided to go back to my natural color. My hair was very blonde and I was concerned about coverage. Esalon did not disappoint! Coverage was great! This is now my 3rd time coloring and honestly I think the color and coverage just get better and better each time. I have very few grays but this color covers those with ease as well. I will continue using esalon - love the customization!

The color was sublime and elegant, the packaging very pretty. And I was pleased how eSalon actually sent gloves that really fit me, when I expressed my size. Very responsive company, good communication with clients.
I just finished my third treatment after never having colored my own hair. The color is just as good as what I have been getting at an Aveda salon so I am very happy. Also, I was happy to see that my last product shipment had two pairs of gloves as advertised. The first two did not. This was soooo easy and the colour was sooo beautiful. It wasn’t a disturbing smell. And the little added extras were great like the smudge/drip remover.

I tried the other "let us mix your color and send it to you" brand. Esalon is my hands down choice. Easy to use and the results are fantastic. My hair has dimension and different tones. Doesn't look like all one color out of the box hair color. I am not comfortable going back to the salon during the pandemic and now I don't need to! P.S. Covers my gray easily.
Because of COVID-19, I stopped going to my hairdresser several months ago. I discovered eSalon online and decided to try it. I could not be more pleased with the result. I used my first kit about 2 weeks ago and I am still happy. It is lighter than I had anticipated, but I can adjust that on the next coloring. Easy to use and everything was included. I will definitely continue with eSalon.

This was my third time using color with e salon. I like it, although it doesn't seem to be as as red as it has in the past. I do like this particular color, but would like to figure out a way for it be a little more red or auburn or chestnut. Not sure which word to use...but the product is great and easy to use! My boyfriend has been helping me since we started doing this at home and he's getting really good and a lot faster at it!!
I am definitely going to keep using the product!

Because of the pandemic, I have not been to the salon. Thought I would give this a try. Easier than I thought and waaaaay cheaper. Love the coverage and how long the color has lasted. It was a bit too dark but I emailed and I was informed the color has been adjusted for my next shipment. I was confused by the two bottles and got an email weeks after I received my coloring, that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Can't wait to do it again!
I get so many complements on my hair - how shiny, beautiful color. Took me two try's to master just applying color to the roots. Bought more clips and have the process down now. Even my stylist likes the color.

I have used boxed hair color over the years and prior to the pandemic have had my hair colored in a salon. Not able to go to a salon I thought I would try Madison Reed, hearing good things about it. I am very pleased with the results I get from Madison Reed. The color is very natural, a nice shine, no odor and covers gray very well. The color recommended by MR is light brown and it is a very close match. I highly recommend Madison Reed.
Everything from shipping to application of my color has been perfect. My sister does a professional job. It takes a village to make me happy with my hair and esalon is an important part of the team.

I have A LOT of grey hair and couldn't find a nice color of store bought dye that would cover them, except black...which is why I decided to try eSalon. They were able to create a beautiful rich color, that covered my grey's for weeks, and all I have to do is sit back and wait for it to arrive in the mail. The little hair dye kits are lovely and feel like a treat to use, I highly recommend.
I’m loving eSalon! Due to a lot of gray couples with a pixie cut, I was finding myself in the salon every 4 weeks! Often I would even need to color my hair on my own in between the 4 weeks depending on how short my hair cut was (I often have an under cut or side cut outs). Salon pricing was over $150 EVERY visit and I knew I had to make a change. I’m SOOO happy I did!! Coloring my hair with eSalon products have left my hair feeling better than ANY at home product I have ever tried and I save so much money!! I will still get my my hair colored at the salon every couple months or so when I want end color or highlights, but I’m so grateful I found eSalon to manage my in between colorings. I’ve been 100% satisfied with the color and packeting contents, i.e. 2 sets of gloves, color barrier creme and stain remover wipe (that really works!!!). I talk about eSalon with all my friends and encourage them to try eSalon once just to compare with their own color routine. Thanks eSalon!!!
My hair was a stark white. My custom color has softened the starkness! The highlights of color are so natural looking. I feel five years younger. I have had so many compliments. I love what you've done.
I need it to cover my gray hair more. I have some gray coming in and it seems to show even after I color it. It’s harder to see with this color I’m almost needing a cooler color. Not so reddish.
I won't go back to the salon. This is easily as good as the full colour I was paying a whole lot of money for at the salon. Great coverage and it lasts a long time. My grey doesn't show through for about four weeks.

Wow. Excellent product, and clear, simple instructions. My hair grew back in completely silver after chemo - quite a change from the toxic screaming dark red I had always had. The family was nostalgic for my easy-to-spot-in-a-crowd red head, so I decided to give this company a try.
That was a good decision. The color coverage is flawless, and the color is surprisingly accurate according to the experts who have to look at me.

I finally used this kit, with the help of a good friend, and the color is great! It was easy to use - first time user-friendly. My daughter, son and friend thought it looked very pretty.
The package was missing one pair of gloves, so luckily I had an extra pair on hand.

I've been using eSalon for about 4 years now and I love it. Nothing negative to say. The color is as good as a salon and has great dimension. The auto ship is great and so easy to skip a month or change your frequency.
I have been to salons and tried target boxes etc.. but this is the only product and experience that my hair turned out perfect! I just wanted to hide some grays but I completely trust this team if I decided to get adventurous!

I'm 65 and a newbie at home coloring my long hair. I did the best I could at following the directions, but I made a lot of mistakes. However, my hair looks gorgeous! The color kit is easy to use. The instructions are detailed and clear. The end result is a gorgeous, shiny color that looks like I came from the salon! The price is very reasonable and I am saving so much money by doing it myself. Well, actually a friend is coloring my hair for me. She said she always wanted to be a hairdresser - she is a nurse. Friends are telling me that they actually like this color better than what I had from the salon!
First off, I love the smell of this dye. Secondly, it coloured my hair perfectly... even the wirey greys! My hair is soft and my custom colour is completely different to shop bought dyes, it suits me as it's made for me. I'm only buying my permanent dye off eSalon from now on.
I really love working with the colorists they are so willing and fast at making exactly what you want. Not to mention how easy it is to use the product. Since Covid esalon has made dying my hair exactly what I want so easy and beautiful!
Love it! It came with everything.. I mean even a sticker made for you to hang up your directions with. As far as the color goes it came out the color I expected and that makes me happy. My hair is shiny and it still looks healthy. It has been 4 years since I had any chemical or dye in my hair so I was skeptical in doing this but those greys had snuck up on me and I had to do something about it and I am glad that I gave it a try and that it exceeded my expectations.
This is my third time using eSalon and this color, and this time I really was able to get all the grays and new growth under control! I left the color around my face the whole time I was doing the rest of the head, and it really has held nicely.

I recently ordered the color and love it. It didn't come out too dark or light, and the color is perfect. I will not be using drugstore hair coloring anymore. This is my favorite.
