I was offered another delivery which would also take nearly two weeks; after my written request to cancel that order, I receive notice that another shipment is on the way. MehWhen it comes to at home color, I want easy. I don't want to wait so many minutes then use another bottle and wait more. When attempting to wash out the color after processing, I was concerned. I rinsed until the water ran clear and used the packets that came with it. However, my hair was so stiff and almost sticky. I took a shower again the next morning, at lunch and again at night only using conditioner hoping it would help. It took a few days for my hair to feel normal again. Color was TOO dark and I was VERY unhappy trying to cancel my account.Not only did I cancel my account PRIOR to the next scheduled ship date (the color was too dark and I did not wish to continue with this company) but they shipped and billed me ANYWAY. I am in the process of collecting my money back and having a hard time getting information on exactly WHERE the product is since my account shows I bought the unwanted color on a SATURDAY and it is now 8 days later and it has not arrived at my home. Quick fadeAt first I was pretty excited about the color and even the packaging with my name written all pretty across it. But on the 2nd day I noticed the my gray strands had a brassy look to it, so it was still pretty light. My roots turned out orange and the ends still had blonde in them because it said only leave it on ten mins I think one color on ends longer would have turned out better. Color oh my!I have been a client for almost a year. The colorists have not to my satisfaction to mix a formula to cover my grey without making it brassy and red.It does not blend well. You can see where I have covered the grey. I don't have that much grey. I have brown hair. Just HorribleAsked for a color change to reflect a slightly darker ash blonde. Once I colored my hair, which is easy to do in my home, my hair was a bright red. It was horrible. I had an appointment to get hilites but once my hair stylist saw the color and that I was soooo upset with the color, she helped change the color. She did what she called CPR on my hair. Now my hair color is a darker mousey brown with red hilites. I don't like the color but under the circumstances I have to live with it until late August when she can do something with it. My total expense to get this mousey brown that I absolutely hate is $23 for esalon product and $65 for the CPR.. very upset and want to unsubscribe to the program. Thank you for reading my message. Definitely a two person jobJust did my first esalon coloring job. Definitely needed two people to get good results. I asked a co-worker for her honest opinion of my haircolor. She said it looked splotchy - kind of like I spent time out in the sun and the top was bleached by the sun. I went from a light brown to a darker brown. I just am not happy. Will not do it again. I'll be recoloring with a box color again tomorrow and deep conditioning. I used the brush method as described in the instructions. The color is very drab. The color is still too darkI had to put off coloring my hair longer than usual, due to surgery. I used the 2 step color process. This color was far from what I wanted or expected, yet I got the exact same color, & did it correctly!! The roots are a dark brown, & the ends (bottle #2) turned my hair into a bright purple-ish Red!! I have 2 very different colors now! I'm not happy to say the least!! I've never had color issues from the salon I went to, & when a box color from walmart looks so much better than this coloring there's a big issue! June/July 2016 This color is better than it was the 1st time, however my hair is still too dark/deep (brown) I left it on longer to cover the gray, as suggested, but it came back in the same amount of time. Feb/March 2016 This color was much better than the 1st one from Dec/Jan. I'd like it to be a shade lighter, otherwise it's looks good. Horrible Color!I was sent light brown mahogany when I was told it would be medium brown mahogany and it's a carrot top orange color. Never AgainThis is the most horrendous hair treatment product I have ever used. The ammonia smell is absolutely overpowering. My partner always does my roots and colour and could hardly see as his eyes were streaming and the smell was overpowering for us both. Having persevered to do the whole head I washed with the shampoo and conditioner purchased but it was nearly impossible to wash out. It coated the hair with what I can only describe as a silicone, leaving my hair sticky and totally unmanageable for days after, even after many further washes and conditions. First time buyerI recently received my first color from esalon and it didn't turn out as expected. When doing my profile I did opt to not do a video call with a stylist, but I did upload a current pic of myself and responded to several of the stylists emails. She had suggested that I change my original color selection to one that would create a subtle change to my hair color and gradually change it. I agreed. The color I received WAS a drastic change and not the subtle change I was expecting. I didn't know that the gloves were in the box with the shampoo and conditioner - maybe that should be more clear in the instructions as we don't open that box until the very last step and I used ziplock bags on my hands. I did like the color very much even though it wasn't the expected color based on the email conversations, but it dried my hair out so much that I had to go to a salon anyway to get a deep conditioning treatment. For 2 weeks my hair felt like I had used hairspray and I don't use any products. Color didn't stayI colored my hair last Tuesday and it is now exactly a week later. I loved the color the day and day after coloring, however, it has faded quite a bit in just a week. The blond streaks I was wanted covered back to my original color is coming back through. Almost to the blond it was. I requested a permanent color and don't think that's what I received. Color didn't takeI loved everything about this coloring process except that my hair color ended up almost identical to what it was prior to coloring it. I am not happy with the results and have let E-salon know the color was wrong for my hair. Nothing was mentioned about refunding my purchase nor sending the right color to replace the one that didn't work. They said they want me to order another color and see if that works. Let down.I just got to try my first hair color this morning. I found the smell to be pleasant, as hair colors go. However, I'm pretty sure all of the residue is not out of my hair. It felt like I was trying to wash an oil-based glue from my hair & scalp. The only thing the hair color adhered to was my scalp. After the review from Allure, I expected much more. My second shipment is already on the way, but I have gone ahead & cancelled any further shipments. In fact, the one that is on the way will most likely be sent back. I don't want to take a chance on hair breakage. My hair is so frizzy from use of the color this morning. I will be doing a vinegar rinse followed by a deep conditioner later. My color hasn't changed...Not sure it's eSalon's fault but my color hasn't changed. I've requested multiple times for a lighter and brighter color, for over a year now. They change my formula and the strength but my color isn't any lighter or brighter. It's still a very dark brown with a subtle hint of red only showing in sunlight. My natural color is a medium brown. Apparently it doesn't lift very well. I think I'm long passed due on needing to just go into a salon for some bleach and highlights to get what I'm wanting. Not really what I was hoping forHmm well I had very blonde ends on my top layer and a light brown on my underneath, because I dyed the underneath black about a year ago with almost white blond on top and just let it grow out for about a year and then a few months ago got a ash brown dyed and let it fade so that I could dye it this time to make the roots, underneath and blonde spots, would all be the same color... I told all this to the colorist and told her anything that would go good with my skin and even out all of my hair as long as it wasn't a gold base was fine and I was open to other color choices. But medium blonde was chosen. I have to say that I'm not impressed with the way it turned out. It's very very golden up at the roots and almost a gray at the tips. But the underlayer is way darker now and doesn't blend at all. I'm left with 3 tone Hair, even after I called to make sure it would all come out Even and beautiful and they said it should not problem with the color and formula they chose. But the worst part is with my very pale blue eyes and pale skin I look so dull, this dye had way to many golden tones for me. My goal was just even toned long healthy hair and this dye made my hair feel even my dry(more then a salon dye or even a few brands that I have tried at home) and tanglesome, I sure hope a few coconut oil masks candidate fix that. 1st time member opinionPleased with the cs via email. Did not notice any change to my color like I wanted/requested. It did cover roots & grey well, however color dramatically faded in a week even using color treated shampoo, etc. Modified 2nd color & hope that it works out and doesn't fade..That being said, CS replied in a timely manner & adjusted my color. Great packaging & received it shortly after receiving my shipment email notification.. I only gave 2 star ratings, simply because of how quick color faded and no difference in my color that I wanted.. However, pleased so far with everytging else & willing to give it a go again..The packaging, I give it a 5star.. Personalized, & love all contents inside. Especially the info on instructions & how they tell you on a graph how much color tones that are added in your bottle..I have really long hair & had decent amount of color left in bottle, which is impressive cuz when I bought "box" colors, I would have to buy 2 boxes, spending double the money in order to be able to dye my whole head.. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Too Brassy!!!This color had far too much brassiness and there was not enough color in the order to do my full head properly...My hair was naturally curly, medium thick and halfway down my back when I placed this very 1st order in August 2014...I have not colored my hair since this order and have hair cut to a "right over the shoulder" length...The color sent originally to me was TOO brassy...I needed a "Neutral" Light Brown...I had severe unrelated medical issues (2 Strokes) and therefore could not contact the company for a replacement at that time...I spent 1 year and a half in therapy to recover from the strokes...I would be willing to try this eSalon Color program again, the the right "Neutral" Light Brown, but am not going to pay for another failed color....If the right color works, I will gladly leave a 5 star positive feedback... 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
