I loved the result. The instructions were easy to follow and it was amazing that the color turned out so natural looking! I have colored my hair a couple of times before so I was experienced. Coloring your hair at home is not as easy as at the salon with the shampoo bowl but very doable if you prepare and follow the step by step instructions!
I love the ease of using your product with the detailed instructions. And the color lasted 4 1/2 weeks with very little grey showing. And when I asked for a color adjustment it was done and looks great. I love it. Especially in this crazy time- what a great service. Thank you

I don’t normally do reviews on products but this was a godsend . Due to being isolated from work I had to cancel my hair colour and cut appointment.

This is a legit customer review so believe me when I say that i was blown away. The cost is CRAZY low for what you get. The boutique like packaging, the clear instructions, unique extras like stain preventer, and a sticker to hang your instructions, and the fact that through the specific process you could tell you were going to have professional level results. The colour was perfect and the customization of the root vs ends colour gives my hair layers of high and low lights. I’m floored by the quality that e-salon puts out. It’s nice to be surprised rather than let down by a new product these days. I will be back!!

I just used my color kit and wanted to say thank you--perfect color that matched my natural hair. Since my appointment was cancelled with my hair stylist due to recent social distancing...I went ahead and attempted to color my roots and other areas of my hair (few grey strands). I was able to manage not to touch my balyage color. This works great for another 6-8 weeks during this time. I did put my auto-ship on 'stop' as it may be easier to order when I need this. THANK YOU!!! Will definitely order again...
This color was a perfect match to my salon color. With the quarantine going on all salons were closed and while I missed my stylist I enjoyed the at home time with my oldest daughter. First time use - Dark Blonde for root touch up - I would definitely recommend this product. I used the brush/bowl application. I did not leave the product on long enough for complete grey coverage because it turned very black while processing and my past experiences with home hair coloring prompted me to rinse it out at 30 minutes. As it turned out, I should have left it on because the grey coverage was only about 60% but the color and texture of my hair was excellent. With this, I assume my next application will be perfect after I leave it on for at least 40 minutes. My hair has a nice salon feel to it which is a first for me using a home hair color product. It has been at least 15 years since I have done my hair at home but due to the COVID-19 virus I believe this may be my new norm for a while. So happy I didn't have to sacrifice quality. I was very apprehensive as the last time I coloured my own hair it was a disaster. I'll spare you the details but needless to say I have had a colour technician do my hair especially with the onset of grey now a factor. My hair colour looks the same as the salon results and feels fantastic with shine and softness that I am happy to say was the end result. My grey on the very top (which is the only grey I have) could have used a little more time but that is more my own in-experience than the product itself. It was easy to use once I got over my first set of nervous tension and got down to it. There is ample amount of product supplied and tools (brush, gloves, shampoo, conditioner, Stain preventer and remover set by step instructions) included in your kit. I recommend that you also purchase the mask, the shine as well as the tint if you are a Blond 10V like myself as these will help treat your hair and maintain the colour eliminating the brassy look etc,. I will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends as the salon quality is apparent.
I love my custom set every other month! I don't have to worry about needing to go to the store and not find my color. It also makes my hair smell and feel amazing!! It's soft and shiny after my touch ups and the color lasts for a while so I don't end up washing it out weeks later. Plus, you get to talk to your color maker about any changes you want to make, I actually just decided to go a bit lighter on my color and I can't wait to see how it looks!!
My hair felt amazing when I tried eSalon but I was looking for more of a red tone (hair still looked to dark). I did get to speak to my hair specialist Yvette (very nice and understanding) and she will be adding some more red tone to my hair. I cant wait to try it out :) I also can’t wait to try my shampoo/conditioner and shine serum

I was light blonde and wanted to go back to my natural color, a darker brown with an auburn undertone. I picked the color I thought would work and uploaded a couple of pictures. My stylist said that the color I chose wouldn't work with my coloring and suggested a different formula. What she chose is perfect! I love it and my fiance loves it! He says it may be his favorite color on me.

A natural dark brown turned light medium with balyage for 2 years. During quarantine, I simply took a few pics. They sent the color a few weeks later and it is soooooo perfect! Not too dark. Didnt cover up balyage.

ESalon has accommodated all my requests for changes. I wrote in with some details about the color updates I wanted, provided some photos, and the team got me a perfect color. I have decided to go with a cool reddish brown and I think I'll keep this for some time.
I have some squiggly whites that cover up for about 3 weeks, but the color fades from these first. No worries though because the auto shop fixes me up just around the time I notice I need to re-dye.
Highly recommend and don't be afraid to ask for what you want or need, the team here has been informative and understood my requests, true synergy.
I love, love, love my custom color. I worked with the color consultant to achieve what I wanted and everything came out perfectly! I also love the packaging and the generous amount of product you receive in the shipment. Lots of shampoo and conditioner to use at least twice, maybe three times if your hair is short. So gentle on my hair and scalp. I am a convert -- will love having Esalon "do" my color!
I've been using E-salon now for the last 1 1/2 years now and I cannot tell you how wonderful it has been!
1st of all, they send me my update color at exactly the right time so I can apply the color before my grow out gets too bad. I have always struggled with keeping up with my root coverage because I get too busy with life and before I know it, my roots have grown out up to an inch of icky grey! With e-Salon my update color arrives right on time and having that little box sitting there prompts me to get on the ball and do my hair.
2nd; having a custom color ALWAYS insures my color is perfect.
3rd: I love that I have a personal consultant who I can contact any time and make adjustments.
4th and final point: THE PRICE IS ALWAYS JUST RIGHT!!!

I just did my own hair last night and it turned out amazing. The color is exactly what I expected and I had fantastic directions to stick on my mirror (how cool is that?) I just colored my own hair and saved $100. I'm sold on this. It took me a total time of 60 minutes from finish to start and I did it in my own home and own time.

I have always had my hair professionally done and since salons are closed, I had to do something with my roots. I have a lot of grey hairs for a 33 year old and it was driving me crazy. This color is beautiful! But it's definitely darker than I desired, and darker than my natural color. The photo I saw online of the color looked much lighter than this. Next time I think I will have to go a shade lighter.
Also, my hair is long and thick in some areas, but I had enough product to cover all. I am used to dying my hair so it was easy for me, but the instructions are very simple and helpful for those who are new at this. Definitely appreciated the pretty packaging and 2 pairs of gloves!
I've never colored my own hair before, but, with being under lockdown and having to still keep the social media side of my business up and running, I had no choice. ESalon came recommended and I can see why! My color is absolutely perfect. Did I say PERFECT? Blond is hard to do and they nailed it. And it wasn't difficult for me to do (although I did have my daughter's help.) I figured in a worst case scenario even if I totally messed it up I could just wear a ball cap on screen, but now I'm wanting to do even more camera work, lol. Thank you eSalon! :)

I Found it to be easy and effective with great results. I think it's the same color as it was when I was twenty.I Did not feel any irritation during the whole process.
I love the whole process and even the packaging. My hair felt soi much healthier during and after the dying process. The dye, the color, did exactly what I needed it 2 do. I have only one neg. The chemicals are over powering, they are extremely potent. Not like any dye I experienced. But with that being said I would still give eSalon a 10/10.

I really love the color. It is better than what the hairdresser was putting on my hair, The texture of my hair is wonderful and the products seem to be so gentle on my hair.
Very impressed by my colour, arrived reasonably early considering that it’s a tailored colour. It looks exactly like in the picture, or better. It was very easy to apply - I have long hair and one tube has been enough for the entire length. Also, it’s great to have a dark golden blonde that doesn’t have any reddish tones. Wow, will definitely order again!

I was somewhat apprehensive at the thought of coloring my own hair, but with the COVID 19 virus and salons closing temporarily I needed to push past that thought and just go for it. Thank you esalon, it turned out amazing!
My gray roots were coming in fast and furious. I practically grabbed the kit out of the mailman's hand today and I immediately colored my hair. I am so pleased with the results. Perfect color and no obvious lines where you could see the regrowth of the grays. Store bought box kits never seemed to get it right for me. Besides, who wants to risk going to the store these days? Plus half of the time the store seemed to run out of the color kit I wanted to purchase. eSalon, I'm glad I met you! See you in four weeks!
First time user. Ordered a coppery brown color and was extremely nervous since I haven't dyed my own hair in years! Color turned out amazing - although darker than expected - but no a big deal at all! I actually had this color at some point and really like it! I can't believe it! Better than a salon. Sorry Morgan (my hair stylist). May have to just come in for just a cut now!

This color was on point! An exact match to my last salon color...process was easy and my roots colored well. Non salon dyes don't last long on my hair so I will be curious to see if lasts as long a salon dye.

eSalon was recommended by a good friend who has been using for a couple of years. I am skeptical of any at home color as I have been so burned in the past by OTC colors etc. My first box was 3 weeks ago and I did my due diligence and read the directions thoroughly, watched the online videos and set my "station" up prior to beginning. Even though I've colored at home before, I wanted to give this the full effort to know I did it right. The application was easy enough. I used the bottle application over the brush. My 4 star review is ONLY because of the last steps. Filling my color bottle with water and applying to "lather" my hair was a hot mess. It just went every where and I was so nervous about getting it in my eyes. I made it through though :) The overall color is just beautiful. My grey's are covered and the color blended perfectly with my existing color - no streaks or color blocks at all. The shampoo and conditioner samples they included are so good! I am going to order full bottles next time. I have recommended it to my friends and family already.
I have been using this product for nearly two years, I love it! When I first started this experience with this company, I had uncolored hair. I wanted my hair to look natural, and loved my natural color, kind of a golden auburn with sun-bleached highlights. So, I sent in a picture of myself in a wedding I had just been in, my hair was worn down and sun was hitting it perfectly! I wanted that color all of the time! eSalon matched it perfectly!
