Every time I look at pictures where I've used cheap(er!) hair colouring products, I realise they were a bad choice. Never really the right colour etc. I've been using eSalon for over a month now and still love the product. The colour is consistent every time I receive it, and I like how it alternates between a roots touch up and a 'full head' dye. Although at first doing the roots on their own instead of the rest of your hair seems challenging, you get used to it, and so far I've not failed yet! Would very much recommend.
I was so afraid of attempting this at home and couldn't be happier. My hair came out so soft and it blended so well. I focused on my roots and cover entire head with the leftovers for that last few minutes and it worked perfectly. Even the photos I sent to my regular salon stylist was impressed at how well it came out. Looking forward to the next time. The shampoo and conditioner that came with it made my hair feel like silk without weighing it down. Had to add these to my next order.
I decided to try this hair color since salons were closed. I chose eSalon because they had more options to choose from. I like that the formula is made depending on your natural color, hair type and other factors that don’t get considered when you buy a box color. It worked out well and I’m very happy with it!
It arrived really well presented with my name on the products! There was clear instructions and included was a pair of gloves with some gel to prevent staining ,also shampoo and conditioner. The product was fantastic my daughter put it on for me, which she’d never done before, the coverage was brilliant no more grey!

I loved my hair dye, every thing I needed came in the kit. I loved the gel to keep me from also dying my face. It was so easy and now every one who sees me asks where did I go to get my hair dyed! Now if only I can get an hair cut. I also loved the shampoo and conditioner.
I really like my first experience with esalon. The color was really great and has depth, the videos were helpful but honestly as someone who has used box dye it was easy. The grays covered well. Customer service was good too. I love that they will send me my product and that my name is on the label. And my hair was soft, the color didn’t burn my scalp like box dye and it smelled good. I recommend this product and the company so far.
I had several shades going on. Esalon balanced me out with 2 custom colors. The instructions were precise. I had a very easy time and beautiful effects. Happy!

Loved this service and will be using again!!! Cost is sooo cheap ! I would easily have given 5 stars but I wish it made my hair a little silkier/ shiner. Maybe due to my hair texture which is very dry naturally , I needed to finish with a heavy conditioner and shine ?? But will be ordering again, love the color !
I was pretty amazed that eSalon and I chose hair color just one shade away from each other and the color has been great. I am noticing that my gray may need more coverage so will make an adjustment to address that.
Received everything needed to safely color my hair. Directions very easy to understand and follow. My color match was on point and blended in very well to my current hair color. No harsh smells and my hair was left very soft and natural in texture and density. Would Highly recommend.
You know you're never sure when you order anything on line, let alone hair color. This kit was great ! It came with everything and more you need to color your hair at home and the instructions were on point. If your hair salon isnt open due to the virus I would strongly suggest to give E Salon a try. You wont be sorry.
Everything in the set was FABULOUS. From the hair color, to the shampoo, conditioner and stain remover wipe. The finished product was beautiful, soft, silky hair. I love it.
I ordered eSalon for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. My hair color is perfect, warm, and natural. There is a bit of odor while applying, but no "lingering" odor once rinsed. This is a great service. I highly recommend!!

This is a great product, salon grade and very effective coverage. I have used HUE touch-up hair color from Alta and noticed after coloring some grays. With E-Salon hair color, no grays at all. Love that the color comes directly to the door. Covering roots every couple of weeks, it’s nice that I always have the color in hand and waiting for me rather than remembering to go to the store and picking it up. Highly recommend!!

I couldn’t wait to try eSalon’s custom color set. It was my second time coloring my own hair after using a different product the first time. Everything you need with easy instructions are included. My gray coverage isn’t what I expected but I will say that I’m not faulting eSalon.
I would saturate the hairline more and leave it on a little longer.

I LOVE the color. It was super easy to apply yet my grey's are pretty stubborn and are showing through already. I did let my colorist know and my next order, which is coming up soon, should take care of that.

I was a little worried, but it turned out beautifully. It was a little messier especially doing the back of my head with long hair, and 3 months grow out. I will save my money and continue using eSalon!
I “just” wanted to color my hair the same color it has always been. I have never had any success with box or even salon coloring. Usually it takes about 4-6 washes to finally get the correct coloring.
I just did my hair today and it is beautiful and a perfect match! I am truly amazed. I have short hair, so in truth, I only used half of the product shipped. I will do another coloring in 6 weeks or so. I am so happy!
This product was a great experience. Step by step directions included were easy to follow. Color was as described and depicted. In the basic kit, I wish their had been hair clips provided in the kit, at least two. Thank you for such an amazing product!

I did mine and my daughters hair and the results were perfect!! I colored over highlights on my daughters hair which I was told at the salon would have to be done in “sessions”....products and packaging are professional and instructions were exact! Saved us hundreds of $$$ at the salon!

Product great i was really pleased with the colour, i went from blonde highlights so was nervous when i decided to colour my hair and go brown but esalon were great and added gold and copper tones so my hair would not go green! i would highly recommend especially if you are going for a complete change like me with blonde hair to brown

I have never colored my hair myself (well, at least not since college and I'm now retired!) and I was scared to death to try this product. However, I am so glad I did. I love the shampoo and conditioner that came with my color order. If I order separately is it exactly same formula as samples that come with color order.
I loved every bit of this product. From the box it comes in with your name on it. Personally sent for me. I chose a light brown color at first and talked to my stylest Jennifer and came up with a medium Golden brown. The smell of the product was so good. No ammonia smell at all. So easy to apply and well definitely buy this product again.
I didn't expect much for my trial attempt with e-salon's product. However I was very pleased!
The color is rich and professional and easy to use. Everything i need comes in the shipment.
Next time I've requested just a wee bit more of vibrant violet in the color, The phone colorists have all been great to work with and to modify per my requested preferences.

I am very pleased with my first Custom Color Set. The color is exactly what I expected, It covered my grays well and has not dried my hair at all like store bought hair color. It smelled great, and the color has beautiful gold highlights when the light hits it. Best of all, it is a lot less expensive than the salon. The videos are very helpful. I plan to continue using e-salon.
I have never colored my hair myself and was so worried about the color match. I have dark brown hair and do not like the 'red' tone that comes through with some brown colors. This was actually a perfect match, no reds. My husband said the color was better match to my natural color than my expensive hair stylist! Thank you!

Coloring my hair myself was easier than I thought! I taped the step by step instructions to the mirror and they were easy to follow. The thing that really surprised me was how soft my hair felt after.

This was my first time coloring my hair at home. I've been getting professional salon coloring for almost 20 years. I went from colored blonde bayalage to a chocolate brown and I love it! Instructions were easy to follow and it colored over the blonde. Only 4 stars bc my few strands of gray are still showing even though I followed the suggestions on the site on how to color. But even with that, I'm definitely going to be ordering again, way cheaper and a lot less time then I spend at a salon!
I searched for salon quality hair color since I'm allergic to box color. I came across eSalon and thought, "why not?" I am so happy I did. I chose my custom color and uploaded a pic of how my hair looked at the time of the order. My stylist thought the color I chose was too dark and shipped what she thought was best for me. I am so happy she changed the color because the one she chose for me is perfect. Everything came in the kit that I needed including the one time shampoo and conditioner. I'm ecstatic my grays are now gone and the color looks amazing! I'll definitely be ordering again and telling all my friends about it as well.
Wow! Not sure how they do it with a picture, but they got it right the first time, and I have a very odd hair color. Great product, great service. Glad you guys are around to help us get rid of the grays.
I love my hair colour, it arrived quickly and came with easy to understand instructions. My 12 year old daughter applied my colour herself and it looks great!!
The brush was missing so I had to use a makeup brush instead which was a shame.
Loved everything about this and it was the first time I've ever used a home coloring kit. I seriously may not even go back to the salon! My color came out less brassy than when I get it done, AND, I pay a small fortune at my salon. I not only will order again, but I have three friends that have purchased now too and say the same.
I’ve tried all sorts of color on my hair to save money and avoid going to the salon. Nothing worked. My grays are stubborn and my hair has weird undertones so I would always end up with red roots on my brown hair. This time- my life is changed. I will probably never go back to a salon for anything other than highlights. The color matched perfectly. My roots were not red! And it was easy to apply and clean up. I have balayage highlights and this color blended seamlessly. I love it. Thank you thank you thank you. I’ve already recommended to all of my friends!
